Ametlla Film Fest is an international film festival that aims to promote Catalan culture within the short film sector.
A programme is selected based on artistic, technical and script criteria.
FestiPREV is the International Festival of Prevention and Youth Citizenship Film, dedicated to young people aged 11 to 25. It takes place every year in May in La Rochelle, France.
This festival offers a unique platform to express ideas and engaged messages through short films.
Participants can submit works ranging from 30 seconds to 5 minutes, addressing various themes related to prevention and citizenship.
FestiPREV encourages creativity and dialogue among young people, while valuing their voices on contemporary societal issues.

A short film competition in a knockout elimination format!
Four films of any genre enter the competition, passing through two semifinals until they reach the grand final, where only one will be crowned the winner. Both the audience and the jury will choose the finalists.
In addition to the exciting matchups, we’ll have debates with the filmmakers, live music, and plenty of opportunities for networking and socializing.

Our dual emphasis is on “discovering” great comedic talent with the purpose of promoting it to both the entertainment industry and the Moscow public, as well as, showcasing the works of seasoned professionals and well-known stars. We are proud to showcase, connect and promote talented comedy filmmakers from all over the world.
The CINALFAMA FILM OBSERVATORY, held in a historic neighborhood, emerges as a transformative cultural initiative that strengthens the community network. By showing independent films, the project not only widens access to alternative and innovative narratives but also stimulates cultural engagement among residents, fostering a sense of identity and belonging.
This regular event, which takes place at Museu do Fado Auditorium, becomes a meeting point where generations cross paths, sharing experiences and reflections that transcend mere film viewing. In addition, by being located in a neighborhood with a rich historical heritage, the observatory revitalizes the urban space, attracting visitors and enhancing the appreciation of the local heritage, generating a very positive cultural dynamic
The Cinalfama Film Observatory is a regular cinema competition in January, April, and October.
The winning films of each of the three editions (Jan, Apr, Oct), will be showcased in our annual outdoor cinema event, Cinalfama Lisbon International Film Festival, in July 2025.
The International Film and Human Rights Festival - HUMANS FEST, held in Valencia since 2008, is one of the main initiatives promoted by the Fundación por la Justicia. Its aim is to bring audiovisual culture closer to both the general public and especially vulnerable audiences, while advocating for human rights and denouncing their violations worldwide. With the name Illusive Eye the optical process by which animation occurs in our brain by generating movement from the illusion produced by the rapid exposure to images in sequence is evoked. Animation offers the construction of credible universes, capable of freeing us from the limits of immediate reality.
With the coming of current communication technologies, animation has gained even more ground than it had in Film, Didactics and Videogames. Now, with the internet and the power of cell phones, mobile applications and the interconnection of devices and institutions with the network, animation has become an essential part of the language of interaction between the user and the world.
This audiovisual language has extended its discursive horizons as far as the human imagination reaches, and technically its evolution has allowed it to overcome reality by opening a fantastic vortex that provides immersive experiences and high doses of empathy as well as tons of fans of all ages and throughout the world, developing any theme with great aesthetic contributions and various levels of depth.
In honor of this abyss of creativity and as an invitation to immerse ourselves in it, this meeting space has been created for creators, scholars and amateurs. Looking to show not only its strength in the current film narrative but the presence of other types of speeches built on this means of visual expression: GIFs, memes, stickers, emoticons, headers, symbols for social networks, interface elements, banners, promotions , and any type of element generated from the illusion of an eye.

The curatorial committee of the festival will place special emphasis on selecting works that portray cultural and territorial aspects of these nations, such as: processes of safeguarding cultures, protection and defence of territories and the environment, human rights, identity tensions and political reflections. En el ámbito de la parada de León del Tour del Talento 2025 de la Fundación Princesa de Girona, se convoca el concurso de cortometrajes “120 segundos de cine”. Este concurso está promovido y organizado por el Instituto Leonés de Desarrollo Económico, Formación y Empleo, S.A. (ILDEFE) del Ayuntamiento de León, la Universidad de León a través de su Área de Actividades Culturales y cuenta con la colaboración del Centro de Formación Profesional Mª Auxiliadora de la ciudad de León.
El principal objetivo de este concurso es el de promover el cortometraje como medio de expresión audiovisual entre los jóvenes, contribuir a su reconocimiento y a su difusión, y dar a conocer la provincia o ciudad de León (España).
Maravíllame, the International Short Film Festival of the University of Cádiz has as main objectives to promote cinematographic culture and facilitate the exchange of talent and knowledge between the university and professional spheres.
It will take place on 8, 9 and 10 April 2025 in Jerez de la Frontera, and its programme includes an exhibition of short films made by university students, a competition with prize-giving in the categories of short fiction and short documentary, a masterclass with a prize-giving ceremony in the categories of short fiction and short documentary, a masterclass with a prize-giving ceremony in the categories of short fiction and documentary short films, masterclasses, round tables and workshops with the participation of national and international professionals and teachers.

Tigers Dance is a short film festival dedicated to short dance for the camera films that are appropriate for all audiences. It will be adjudicated as part of a middle school class about Dance for the Camera, and we hope to include a wide variety of short dance films in our program.

For major reasons, and having been immersed in a situation in which we have all been affected, we have decided to adapt to the current situation, and give a new focus to our festival. Maintaining the enthusiasm and passion we feel for the artistic world.
Our festival is aimed at the dissemination and promotion of film authors related to topics of social and/or ecological value.
Because we believe in the power of art as a transformative medium, our contribution from this festival is to give visibility to projects that address environmental and social changes in which we are immersed. The Mediterranean is the climate that surrounds us, and we feel identified with it. In terms of warmth, closeness and transparency. We are a festival that is starting strong, with a large number of committed artists who share our cause, and the desire to share.
And that is why we are not afraid to break the most classic festival patterns. So much so, that in the award for best actor and/or actress, the recognition of the award falls on their social and/or ecological work... And not only on their skills.
Despite having firm ideological foundations. We open ourselves to other artistic areas and initiatives.
"parapacurts" is an International Comedy Short Film Festival inside "parapariures" where both the audience and the jury will choose their favourite short films.
The Festival will take place in Sabadell (Barcelona) on 9th, 16th and 23th of May 2025 and the final will be the 26th September 2025.
The central theme of the shorts must be related to Nursing or Physiotherapy, in any of their work areas or training stages. Nurses are not only in hospitals!
We want you, with a camera or your smartphone, to tell us, in a short fiction or documentary, with a maximum duration of five minutes, what you see in the profession, what or who is important to you, how we relate and how we work, teach, learn or lead.
In short, we want to know nursing and physiotherapy from your perspective because the different perspectives teach us new aspects and points of view that may surprise us. Go ahead and show us yours!
There are no limits to the way you discuss the topic you choose. We look for that different perspective, that unique perspective that you can contribute, that fun way of presenting everyday situations in which you have been able to be an observer or protagonist. Don't set limits! Add imagination and a sense of humor, a lot of sense of humor!
You don't have to be a professional filmmaker, we have a category for you. And if you already have experience, we are also looking forward to seeing your new piece.
