Likewise, we intend to give space mainly to independent filmmakers, who do not pursue with the accomplishment of their purely commercial objective works, because we consider that this methodology of work is the one that gives more expressive and communicative freedom when transmitting a message that, In the case of this particular subject, touches diverse interests of economically powerful groups.
The Luz del Desierto International Festival is an audiovisual Festival that aims to promote cinema within the country and abroad. The festival will take place in october with competition for feature films and short films, both fiction, animation and documentary. There will also be talks and workshops.
The Independent Film Festival of Sogamoso - FECISO, celebrates its eighth version from November 1st to November 7th of 2024, "CINEMA FOR PEACE AND THE TERRITORY", a space for the different regional views of the national cinematographic context. LUCES CAMEROS ACCION is a short film festival with two sections.
1 – “Rural World" Section
International section of short films in Spanish or Spanish subtitles.
Recorded in villages in rural areas or dealing with rural idiosyncrasies.

2 – “Cameros" Section
The works submitted will be original pieces that are not accessible through Internet.
With 30% of the "footage" recorded in recognizable places of Cameros (New and old Cameros located in La Rioja Spain).

FIDEMA only accepts short films under 18' long, and only with Spanish Subtitles.
The theme of the festival are the six basic emotions: sadness, anger, happiness, disgust, surprise and fear.
This edition will be adapted to the sanitary conditions of the country's covid.
The Fabriano Film Fest returns also in this 2022, now in its tenth edition.
The festival will be held from 20 to 24 October in the beautiful city of Fabriano.

#NarrarelFuturo: XI Film & New Media Festival is a meeting point for exhibition, training and industry where local, national and regional industry professionals interested in filmmaking and audiovisual in its most recent and interesting narrative and technical trends within the digital environment meet; transmedia, web and interactive documentaries, virtual reality (VR/AR/XR), webseries, artificial intelligence, futurisms, narratives and crowdsourcing/funding, vertical video and other film and new media concepts are some of the Festival's thematic axes.
Similarly, during the event, development and creation scenarios are carried out such as the #NewMediaLab, Ibero-American laboratory for the development of new media projects and the #HackathonVR360, which this year reaches its eighth edition.
