The PANIC A ESTRADA Short Film Competition is an initiative promoted by the Department of Culture of the City Council of A Estrada (Pontevedra) and the Municipal School of Performing Arts of A Estrada, within the activities scheduled for the PANIC Horror Film Festival.
It's a free and open to all short film festival based in Paris (France). Concept is simple : submit 2min20 shortfilms about an imposed theme each year. Indy Film Fest was founded in 2004 to celebrate the art of cinema and to create a shared experience around film in Indianapolis. We are a non-profit, international, independent film festival programming both features and shorts. Our all-volunteer staff strives to bring the best films the industry has to offer to our community from home and abroad. Our programmers aim to foster new talent and help filmmakers connect with the global industry. We are also dedicated to educating and developing audiences for international and independent cinema in Indy, screening the kind of innovative, visionary work that may not normally achieve distribution in this area.
Indy Film Fest is looking for the best independent features and shorts no matter the category or genre including: live action, animated, drama, comedy, narrative, documentary, horror, sci-fi, and experimental. Our annual festival spanning over 10+ days typically programs around 25 features and 100 short films, with over 90% from submissions.
Always growing and adapting, the Indy Film Fest began as the three-day Indianapolis International Film Festival in 2004. We quickly expanded to our current 10-day format in 2006, moved our festivities to the summer in 2009, changed our name to the Indy Film Fest in 2014, and since 2018 have been back home in our original spring timeframe. Due to COVID-19 our 2020 and 2021 festivals were primarily virtual and our 2022 - 2024 festivals were hybrid 5-day in-person festivals followed by virtual availability and concluding with award-winner in-person screenings on the final weekend. That format is our goal for the 2025 festival and before selection decisions are made filmmakers will be informed of any changes to dates or format and given the opportunity to request their submission fee be applied to a future festival if those changes are not acceptable.
Alumni of the Indy Film Fest (and Indianapolis International Film Festival) are eligible for a reasonable number of free submissions. Films with significant ties to Indiana are eligible for drastically reduced submission fees. Examples of eligibility include the director or writer being a current Indiana resident or native, or the film being primarily shot within Indiana. Leonid Khromov International Film Festival (LKIFF) was founded in 2020 by producer and entrepreneur Leonid Khromov. LKIFF is an independent platform for international cinema, where bright and ambitious beginners and experienced filmmakers can present their films to the international community.
The LKIFF jury consists of creative and vibrant people who are professionals in their fields (actors, producers, directors, film critics, etc.). Full-length, short and documentary films are accepted for participation in the film festival.
The third LKIFF 2022 film festival is planned to be held in the second half of March 2022 in Moscow (Russia) in the format of an international film award (awards ceremony), at which, after the awards ceremony, the premiere screening of the winner's feature film (Grand Prix) and the winner's short film (Best Short Film) will take place !

The 28th edition of the European Short Film Festival of Bordeaux will take place from March 27th to 28th 2024. The projection nights will take place at the UGC Ciné-Cité cinema in Bordeaux.

Since its inception in 2006 ÉCU has forged a path for independent film and the scope of its presence has grown to a global scale with the festival often being referenced as the European equivalent of Sundance, an honour that we don’t take lightly.
Spring is not only a fabulous time for Paris but an exciting time for ÉCU because that is when we showcase roughly around 100 of the World’s very best independent films. Although ÉCU emphasises European talent, it also recognises the genius of international filmmakers with several categories allocated to non-European films.
The next ÉCU, the 19th edition, will take place on the 19th, 20th and 21st of April, 2024 in Paris, France.
ÉCU isn’t just all about screening an amazing slate of films over its three-day event in Paris in April. There are also professional workshops led by experts in the industry, Q&A’s held with the attending filmmakers after every screening session and a chance to network with fellow filmmakers, producers, agents, industry representatives, prospective film buyers and, of course, the cinema-loving public. At ÉCU, there is a continual dialogue celebrating and critiquing the world’s best indie cinema of today.
Though ÉCU’s main event IS the three-day festival in Paris each spring, there is even more! Thanks to our over 50 partner festivals, partner organizations, film centres and film commissions, ÉCU’s goes on an annual world tour called ÉCU-On-The-Road, which gives award-winning films (as well as many of the Official Selection films) the opportunity to have their films screened to a broader, global audience. ÉCU-On-The-Road showcased films in over 80 countries around the globe in 2016 - 2023 at special ÉCU mini-festivals, partner festivals, cultural institutions and film schools, including an amazing seven day special festival in São Paulo, Brazil. L’Europe autour de l’Europe - European film Festival Paris will run from April the 8th to April the 21st 2025 in Paris and Île-de-France.
Its selection presents art-house and author films produced by the countries of Greater Europe (members of the Council of Europe) focusing on connections between classic European filmmakers and new talents of contemporary cinema. One of the festival's main objectives is strengthening the creative audiovisual industry network across Europe.
In addition to screenings and Q&A with filmmakers, the Festival presents public masterclasses and panel discussions with prestigious guests from Europe.

OUR FESTIVAL OUT OF POLITICS
It connects people, their kind hearts and creativity. The first festival was held in 2018 in Moscow, Russia, 2019 - in the capital of Belarus, Minsk, March 2021 - in Moscow and Podolsk.
FESTIVAL ORGANIZER
The festival is organized by the Vyatkin Publishing House. We publish books in author's gift and leather hand-made bindings, make documentaries, short-length films and presentation videos. The publishing house is a permanent member of international and Russian exhibitions, festivals and forums. The publishing house also participates in organizing charity events, psychological and thematic seminars, meetings with authors, film directors and actors.
BASIC PRINCIPLES OF THE FESTIVAL
Our festival selects films based on the principle of dueling, as in sports. The films must pass through several stages: the official selection, the semi-final and the final. The final takes place in the form of a battle-duel, which is evaluated right in the hall by the filmmakers, the audience and the press.
The aim of the festival is to encourage young filmmakers to make new films, to appreciate their creativity and to introduce filmmakers to the culture and life of the world. We accept films of all genres from all over the world and give new filmmakers the opportunity to evaluate their films and compete with other famous filmmakers. These are films made from the heart and for people of all genres who deny aggression and war.
Each film that passes the official selection will receive laurels. And at the end of the festival, of course, a buffet and a photo shoot.

The CINALFAMA FILM OBSERVATORY, held in a historic neighborhood, emerges as a transformative cultural initiative that strengthens the community network. The Cinalfama Film Observatory is a regular cinema competition in January, April, and October.
The winning films of each of the three editions (Jan, Apr, Oct), will be showcased in our annual outdoor cinema event, Cinalfama Lisbon International Film Festival, in July 2025.
Madeira Fantastic FilmFest project is the diffusion and dissemination of film culture of horror and fantastic genre in Madeira in order to transmit, visually, through different types of art, culture and nature of the region.
At the Villa de Orgaz Film Festival we are happy to tell you that we are going to start our first edition in the town of Orgaz (Toledo), giving shape to our illusion of being able to bring Culture closer to emptied Spain, and to be able to give to also get to know those young directors and actors.
The Festival will be held on the last weekend of February, with two viewing days and on the last day, awards ceremony and Closing Gala at the Auditorium of the Town.

The 54th edition of the Sehsüchte International Student Film Festival, one of the biggest film festivals for young filmmakers in Europe, will take place from 23rd April to 27th of April 2025 in Potsdam. It offers up-and-coming filmmakers from all over the world a platform to present their works to a broad audience and come into contact with the industry. Founded in the 1970s as a showcase for young filmmakers in the GDR, Sehsüchte has established itself over the decades as an internationally important festival and has become an integral part of the Berlin and Brandenburg cultural landscape.
Sehsüchte sees itself as a place of encounter and creativity, as an event of cultural diversity and a celebration of cinema, today as well as tomorrow. The festival is planned, organized and implemented entirely by students of the Filmuniversität Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF. The direct connection to the renowned film university enables a unique exchange between young talents, media practice and academia.
