CURTA-SE 25 – The Ibero-American Film Festival of Sergipe is produced by AVBR PRODUÇÕES LTDA - ME and has as its mission to broaden public access to Ibero-American audiovisual production, to promote the exchange between filmmakers from Brazil and Ibero-America, to valorize the short film as a specific language, and to foster the creative economy and accessibility.
Ibero-American Digital Cinema: Films made by Ibero-American producers and/or directors who have lived in Brazil for more than 2 years, completed between 2024 and 2026, in the following categories:
a) Ibero-American Short Film – films with a running time of up to 20 minutes, in the genres of documentary, fiction, and animation, produced in countries of the Ibero-American region;
b) Sergipe Short Film – with a running time of up to 20 minutes, in the genres of documentary, fiction, and animation, with a director and producer from Sergipe or based in the state for more than 2 years;
c) Feature Film – with a running time of 70 minutes or more;
d) Trailer – Trailer for a short or feature film with a running time of up to 4 minutes;

This Festival, organised by Observatorio Sur, aims to promote the culture, history and film production of African and Afro-descendant filmmakers, as well as productions by authors of other nationalities who, through their work, offer new perspectives on the realities of Africans and Afro-descendants.We invite film directors, filmmakers, documentary makers and video artists to submit their material offering different perspectives on Africa.
The festival will be held in cinemas in August 2026 in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, Neuquén (Patagonia) and Córdoba, as well as on tour.
We welcome independently produced works made in African countries or related to the African continent, its people and its diaspora.
The aim of this festival is to promote the culture, history and film production of African filmmakers, filmmakers of African descent and filmmakers of other nationalities whose works open a window onto the different realities of Africans and people of African descent.
FICAA is a space for dissemination, reflection and encounter around African cinema, conceived from its aesthetic, political, historical and cultural diversity. Amateurs strike back! is the first international film festival of amateur and low budget film to be held in one of the world's oldest cinemas, the Cinema Zvezda in Belgrade, Serbia. Theatre was seized by young film makers, artists and locals during the winter of 2014. in an event known as "the cinema Zvezda occupation" , which was wrote about in Guardian, LA times, Monde and was supported by many regional directors and artists.
Our team will select fifteen films to be screened on the big screen during the festival, which runs from September 3rd to 5th. The audience will vote for the winning film, which will be awarded a cash prize of 250 euros and 7 days of screening in our cinema.
It doesn't matter if you consider yourself the new Andy Warhol or Tommy Wiseau aesthetic is closer to you, we accept underground, trash, experimental, erotic and narrative films made without or with very limited budget !

The Luz del Desierto International Festival is an audiovisual Festival that aims to promote cinema within the country and abroad. The festival will take place in october with competition for feature films and short films, both fiction, animation and documentary. There will also be talks and workshops.
TAF, Thessaloniki Animation Festival is an international Animation Festival in Greece which promotes the art of animation through its annual gathering in October. The festival was founded, established and directed by ADDART; a non profit organization that "adds" art & culture everywhere. The creators of the festival are artists themselves, filled with love for the art of animation. Based in the heart of Thessaloniki, TAF aims to encourage and promote all aspects of creativity by hosting local as well as international events and activities for kids and adults alike!

About the Festival

Introduction
The International Zinema School Fest 2021 will be held on 22-25 November in the city of Bilbao organised by the cultural association Begira Elkartea.
In addition to contributing to the dissemination of the most up-to-date audiovisual creation, for five days the festival will become a reference and a framework for reflection for new trends in the international film scene, weaving a network of collaboration and encouraging the exchange of ideas, experiences and knowledge.
