Section that has been several years and invites you to participate in a contest where you must terrorize the audience in just 2 minutes, has prizes in money to the first, second and third place, plus a recognition to the most popular audience, elected through popular vote among those who attend the night function. Jury made up of local and national filmmakers and festival personalities and the audiovisual media.
Each year, more than 300 teenagers and filmmakers turns Cañada de Gomez into a huge cinema studio. In this 40 thousand inhabitants city of Argentina, the 72 Hours Short Film experience takes place. This is a unique experience in Latin America and it is fully-developed and self-managed by the local government. Secondary students from different schools are put together randomly to conform teams which will be led by experts. Their aim is to make 12 or 15 short films in only three days. In this race against the clock, they have to go through all the stages of a film-making process, from the creative stage in which they have to imagine a plot to the encounter with the public in an Avant Premiere with a crowded audience.
In the 9th edition of this experience, 72 Hours Short Film opens call to national short films realized in Argentina. They will be shown as part of the movies schedule that will be taking place simultaneously with the 72 hours experience. The films must be general public oriented, especially those movies oriented to a young audience.
The aim of the 9th edition of the 72 Hours Short Film Festival is to promote the passion not only for watching but also for making films.

After 9 years successfully running in Chicago we are expanding based on feedback that filmmakers want a strong comedy film festival in Los Angeles. As filmmakers and producers ourselves, we have produced short and feature films. We know how sacred it is to produce your own content and then ask a committee of people to review your work. The Palm Springs International Comedy Festival is about discovering great comedic talent with the purpose of promoting it to both the entertainment industry and the public, as well as showcasing the works of seasoned professionals and celebrities. Palm Springs International Comedy Festival provides a showcase for the best comedians, sketch artists, comedy shorts, comedy features, comedy TV pilots, comedy web series and animation comedy.
Independent RCFF was founded in 2004 in Reggio Calabria at the behalf of Gianluca Curti, president of Minerva Pictures, and Michele Geria, president of the Cultural Association E20, to promote independent audiovisual products and the territory. Over the past thirteen editions it has set itself the goal of discovering new talents in the sector and today it represents a fairly significant national reality, involving actors, producers, directors, set designers, scriptwriters, and costume designers who together have contributed to pursuing the educational purpose on novelties in evolution that the audiovisual has lived in these years. And thus also promoting web products. For this reason the president of the E20 association and general director of the festival has assigned the artistic direction to the experience and sensitivity of the Italian director Mimmo Calopresti, already on the jury in international festivals such as Cannes and Venice, which is also president of the jury of award of the silver Bergamot prize. The festival since its first edition has decided to promote sites and locations of high cultural value at the territory level. The Cultural Association E20 has therefore thought of a "Mediterranean street for art" where festival guests can visit and learn about sites such as the archaeological museum of Reggio Calabria, home of the eighth wonder of the world: the Riace Bronzes, the whose 50th anniversary of the discovery will be celebrated in 2022. Following Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II, better known as Piazza Italia, the seat elected for the preparation of the elegant red carpet, where the protagonists of the festival of this new 14th edition will parade. The Aragonese castle, central point of the city, dedicated to photographic exhibitions. The International Youth Film Festival "Light to the World", jointly organized by the Rybinsk Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church and the Presidential Grants Fund, began its history in 2011.

Philosophical Film Festival / Филозофски Филмски Фестивал is a unique film festival that lives on the crossroads between philosophy and film and is held annually in Republic of N. Macedonia. On one side, the festival tries to promote the idea of film as a medium which can provoke philosophical thought and illustrate philosophical ideas. On the other, it aims to trigger aesthetical analysis’ and investigations into film language as a form sui generis and empower young filmmakers and film workers to reflect on key concepts, questions and ideas in order to translate them into the visual language of cinema. It is a pioneering festival of the kind in Macedonia and the region, and one of few in the world connecting film and philosophy.
The Sogamoso Independent Film Festival - FECISO has established itself as a vital space for the exhibition and promotion of Colombian cinema in Boyacá, highlighting the diversity and richness of the country's audiovisual narratives. It has also stood out for being a regional window for the circulation of international cinema in Colombia. In 2025, the Festival will hold its ninth edition from November 1 to 7 in the municipalities of Sogamoso, Nobsa and Tibasosa, province of Sugamuxi, Boyacá.
FECISO begins the search for short and feature films that reflect the social, cultural and political realities of Colombia and the world. Nordic Young Film Festival - NUFF is an annual short film festival for young filmmakers up to 26 years old from the Nordic countries & the world with short films (max 20 min) made in the last 2 years.
NUFF has been an important international platform for youth film and a meeting place for many young filmmakers since 2003.
Based at the youth culture house Tvibit in Tromsø, Northern Norway, NUFF has already a long success-story. Started by the wish to support young local filmmakers and to get an idea how our neighbours are making films and telling stories, NUFF discovered the world of Youth Cinema and all of the exciting potential that came with it.
The quality of submitted films has steadily been increasing and so too has the incredible atmosphere of the workshops and the growing network of filmmakers, partners and projects. All of this is making NUFF a unique summer event above the polar circle and under the overwhelming midnight sun.

THE FILM COMPETITIONS
NUFF has two film competitions for short films made in the last two years (with a max length of 20 minutes) by filmmakers under the age limit of 26 years old. All genres are accepted!
For the Nordic film competition the films have to be produced in a Nordic country or the filmmaker comes from or lives in a Nordic Country. Nordic Countries are defined as Greenland, Iceland, Faroe Island, Denmark, Sweden, Norway & Finland.
For the International film competition the films have to be produced outside the Nordic countries or the filmmaker comes from or lives outside the Nordic countries.
The submission deadline for both competitions is June 1st!
The Mashup Cinema ... but what is this devilry?
Mashup duplicates, combines, re-appropriates and transforms an unlimited catalog of images, sounds, ideas and patterns available on the internet.
In short, the mashup cinema tries to reverse our old creative habits to give a big boost to our innovation.

The Addis International Film Festival (AIFF) is an annual film festival created by Initiative Africa in 2007 and held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The festival is the largest independent documentary cinema festival in Africa and it was established as a unique initiative seeking to use the power of documentary films to support innovative ways of creating awareness on social issues.
The festival is a celebratory and educational event showcasing a carefully curated selection of films from both seasoned and emerging filmmakers addressing a wide range of themes such as peace building, inequality, women empowerment, children's rights, and much more.
The 18th Edition of the Addis International Film Festival (AIFF). As Ethiopia's established social activist, Initiative Africa will be hosting a five-day documentary film festival starting May 15th to May 19th, 2024, bringing more than 30 local and international movies, under the themes of Action for Peace, Security, and Reconciliation, Gender Equality and Inclusivity, Food and Environmental Security, and Health Care which will be taking place at the Alliance Ethio-Française, Hager Fikir Theater, Goethe-Institut Äthiopien and Italian Cultural institute in Addis Ababa.
The audience of the festival are mostly the youth and educated community who have the courage to change their society. We screen the films for free with no payment required for entrance.

International Festival Screen Culture “Thelovetcheskoje Kino” (hereinafter - Festival) is held among collectives (groups) of youth production in different forms of art, connecting with cinema, television, photography and different digital technologies.
Festival events are directed to formation and evaluating new global culture of production and reproduction age-diverse communicative samples of generations interplay and provides conditions of establishing new information community (environs), new culture of information society, where social-noetic (immaterial) factors of evaluating are information and knowledge. Festival holding promotes establishing of screen culture as a part of general information culture of present society.
General guiding of Festival methodology and organization is brought into action of Educational Complex “Nasha Shkola” (Russia, Novosibirsk).
Time, conditions, place and procedure of organization and holding of regular Festival are annually established of special document – Standing Order of Holding.

Primavera Film Festival is the first itinerant festival of cinema in Barcelona. We are happy to invite all the filmmakers around the world to show their audiovisual works, short films, feature films, documentary etc. in the heart of the artistic and creative atmosphere of Barcelona where the most important directors of the world as Alejandro Gonzalez Iñarritu, Woody Allen, Pedro Almodovar etc. have been shooting their masterpieces.
Primavera Film will be an itinerant festival all around Barcelona, during the whole spring, in some of the most beautiful location of the city, like for example Plaza del Pì in the heart of the old city or the romantic atmosphere of Plaza del Sol in Gracia, where you can enjoy the amazing and creative mood of the city.
Primavera Film Festival will start on spring 2021, April 01.

ENTRY RULES
Submission Date:
- Entries must have been completed on or after January 1, 2018.
- We accept entries between 01/07/2020 and 31/03/2021
Language:
- Foreign language movies must be subtitled in English or Spanish. For the selected movies in the official competition we will ask a spanish subtitled version for screening.
Format:
- We accept all kind of audiovisual works and any film genre: feature films (between 60 min. and 180 min.), short films (between 1 min. and 30 min.), documentary, videoclip etc.
SUBMISSION REGULATIONS
Entry submission:
- Entries must be submitted via an online platform and include a working screener accessible via that platform in order to be considered.
Notification:
- Films selected for screening will be notified on or around April 1st, 2021.
REQUIRED SUBMISSION MATERIALS
- Entry Fee paid via Festhome. DVD are not accepted. Only by request we can accept files through Wetransfer or similar platforms and fees payment through PayPal.
- A working screener accessible via your film’s profile on Festhome or Vimeo. We also welcome works in progress, trailers, reels and other kind of distribution material.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- The filmmaker has read and understood all the rules and regulations. The filmmaker is duly authorized to submit this film to the Primavera Film Festival Barcelona.
- Primavera Film Festival Barcelona reserves the right to disqualify any submission without refund of submission fees.
- Films could have publicly screened in the Barcelona area prior to the festival and world premieres are not requirements for Primavera Film Festival Barcelona, but this information is taken into consideration when making final programming decisions.
- All accepted films may be screened more than once, and are scheduled at the discretion of the Primavera Film Festival Barcelona staff.
- Films produced or financed by a major motion picture studio are eligible for festival screenings and also eligible for competitive awards. Films that have acquired distribution are eligible for festival screenings but are not eligible for competitive awards.
- Upon submission, the filmmaker consents to allowing their screener material to be shared in its entirety with appropriate Primavera Film Festival Barcelona staff, including programming staff, volunteer screeners, and other appropriate members of staff; shared with press outlets in efforts to secure press for the film; with final jury members; and with select individuals representing community partners who may be interested in supporting the film’s screening or taking part in a panel associated with the film.
-The festival is hereby also granted the right to utilize image(s) and/or biographical information of the filmmakers for promotional purposes. The festival reserves the right to fill in any information not supplied by the filmmaker from whatever source available and will not be responsible if incorrect information is entered.
- It is the responsibility of the filmmaker to secure authorization for any copyrighted material that may be used in the film. The filmmaker shall indemnify and hold harmless Primavera Film Festival Barcelona from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees, and costs of the court) which may be incurred by reason of any claim involving copyright, trademark, credits, publicity, screening, and loss of or damage to the screening videos entered.
- Primavera Film Festival Barcelona does not pay screening fees or guarantee travel or distribution for filmmakers. Anyway we will be happy to invite all the selected filmmakers in Barcelona during the festival.
- By submitting, the filmmaker expressly acknowledges and agrees that they shall be bound by the terms of this agreement.
