The International film Festival in Gornji Milanovac (hereinafter: the Festival) will be held from the 26th September to the 10th October 2023 in Gornji Milanovac, The Republic of Serbia. The Festival is an event that in its programme cherishes and promotes artistic values of the contemporary film–making.

The Festival aspires to present main directions and genres in film creation, to initiate contacts between film–makers, authors, audience... and to present the newest realisations in film production. The Festival is aimed at all film lovers.

The main aim of the Festival is promotion of film as well as education in audio – visual culture.

The CISHORTFF-2022 also offers exclusive and effective networking events for filmmakers (conducted through digital and live networking events and seminars, panels, and Master Classes), as well as an immersive experience for our fans. Your film will be categorized in one of these following sections;

3. Tamil Mix (for challenging new trend Tamil Cinema)
4. Generation Next – Grade Schooler: 5-12 yrs. (films for young audiences)
5. Generation Next – Teen: 13-18 yrs. (films for adolescent audiences)
6. Campus Student Mix (Student films from all over the world)

Keeping the event truly international TNFF will have the following programs; press opportunities, networking occasions, industry attendance, Discussion Forum & high-quality Workshops.

The important guests who adorned our 2nd TNFF Award Ceremony and made the event memorable are; our Chief Guest Mr. Thambi Ramaiah, a director, lyricist, and a National Award-Winning Indian actor. Mr. Ravindhar, Cinematographer AND OUR JURY MEMBER has an impressive legacy spanning over four decades IN THE FILM INDUSTRY & Mr. Sab John Edathattil, Screenwriter AND OUR JURY MEMBER, with 34 years of screenwriting career & has had about 32 screenplays filmed. He is one of the leading screenwriting and storytelling voices in South India, especially in the Malayalam and Tamil film industry.

The VIP's who graced the online 1st Tamil Nadu Film Festival (TNFF 2020) are Rev. Fr. A.J. Thamburaj, S.J., Rector, Loyola College, for the academic year 1983-84. He is the pioneer who introduced the VISCOM course at Loyola College, for the first time in city of Chennai, the state Tamil Nadu and the country India; Mr. DSR Subash, PRESIDENT, Tamil Nadu Union of Journalist; Mr. Bh. S. S. PRAKASH REDDY, Regional Secretary, Federation of Film Societies of India; Dr. M. Davamani Christober, Principal & Secretary, The American College, Madurai; S. S. Stanly (Film Director); Mr. S. Theodore Baskaran, film historian, Researcher, author, writer, actor, and speaker; Mr. Aranthai Manian, A Script writer, Director in films and TV serials; A Radio Broadcaster and an Orator; Mrs. Uma Vangal, filmmaker, film professor, Fulbright scholar, columnist, public speaker and media analyst; Mr. Mohan V. Raman, Indian actor, writer, Voice artist and orator. In 2017 and 2019, he was a Jury member for the National Film Award for Best Writing on Cinema; Mr. Hariharan Krishnan, He is a Professor, Arts and Director Media Lab at KREA University; Mr. Ajayan Bala, author, publisher, script writer, Film critic of Tamil cinema (Kollywood) He has authored some 30 books on various topics and nine among them are on cinema alone; Girish Wankhede (Trade Analyst); Mr. Vivek Mohan, winner of the President’s National Film Award in 1999; Mr. Kichas (KRISHNASAMY GOPALSAMY) (DOP), multiple award winner; Mr. Ranjith Shankaran, Associate Professor, Department of Humanities & Social Sciences, Mahindra University, Hyderabad; Ms. Sharada Ramanathan (Film Director), winner of three National Film Awards for her directional debut in the 2007 Tamil film “Sringaram”; and Mr. Balaji Mohan (Film Director, Actor and Producer).

Feature films and short films must preferably be unpublished in Peru, although this is not exclusive but will be valued very positively. The Cisterna Film Festival is an international short film festival held annually in July in Cisterna di Latina, Italy. Over the years, the festival has established itself as a vibrant meeting point for contemporary short cinema, showcasing outstanding works by emerging and established filmmakers from around the world. The festival is organized by the cultural association MOBilitazioni Artistiche and promoted by Municipality of Cisterna di Latina, with artistic direction by Cristian Scardigno.

From 2015 to 2025, the Cisterna Film Festival presented a wide selection of national and international premieres, including films showcased at major festivals such as Cannes, Venice, Berlin, Sundance, and Clermont-Ferrand, as well as award-winning works recognized by the most prestigious film honors, including the Academy Awards, David di Donatello Awards, César Awards, and Goya Awards.

Since 2017, the festival has featured a “Focus” section dedicated each year to a specific country, fostering cultural exchange and international dialogue through cinema. The section was inaugurated in 2017 with a focus on Poland, supported by the Polish Institute in Rome, followed in 2018 by Ireland, in collaboration with the Irish Film Festa and the Irish Embassy. In 2019, the festival turned its attention to Germany, with the support of German Films and the German Embassy in Rome, and in 2021 to Greece, in collaboration with the Drama International Short Film Festival, an Academy Award–qualifying festival.

In 2022, the Cisterna Film Festival presented a curated selection of short films from Croatia with the support of the Croatian Audiovisual Centre. In 2023, the festival hosted a focus on short films by Palestinian filmmakers, in collaboration with the Consulat Général de France à Jérusalem and the Palestinian Ministry of Culture. In 2025, the festival hosted a focus on Cuba, in collaboration with the Festival de Cine Ínstar in Havana.

Each year, the Cisterna Film Festival welcomes leading figures from the international film and entertainment industry and enriches its program with a variety of collateral events, including book presentations, workshops for teenagers, and photography exhibitions, confirming its role as a dynamic cultural hub for cinema and the arts.

Lucca Film Festival is an annual event that celebrates and promotes cinematographic culture. Through screenings, exhibitions, conferences and performances, the Festival has been able to captivate an ever-increasing audience with a program that ranges from experimental to mainstream films. Through the years, Lucca Film Festival has carved out a niche for itself, standing apart from the many other festivals thanks to its bold yet carefully studied programming. Over the years, great names of international filmmakers and well-known celebrities have attended Lucca Film Festival as invited guests; David Lynch, Oliver Stone, Jeremy Irons, Willem Dafoe, George Romero, Terry Gilliam, William Friedkin, Alfonso Cuarón, John Boorman, Rutger Hauer, Joe Dante, Aleksandr Sokurov, Susan Sarandon, Gabriele Salvatores, Ethan Hawke, Paul Schrader and Peter Greenaway, just to name a few. At the same time, the Festival has offered retrospectives of “old” glories while unearthing new talents. To top it all off, breathtaking Lucca serve as a stunning backdrop to an event that has now firmly established itself, becoming a highly anticipated and not-to-be-missed appointment in Italy and in Europe: the Lucca Film Festival.

Since its creation, the festival has always been committed to promoting contemporary films. Therefore, directors from all over the world can submit their films to the competitive section of the festival through the dedicated call for entries. The 2026 edition of Lucca Film Festival will be held September 26th-October 4th.

Lucca Film Festival has 3 competitions: The International Feature Film Competition, The International Short Film Competition and The "Lucca Film Festival for Future" Short Film Competition.

The 2026 will be the 22nd edition of the Lucca Film Festival International Feature Film Competition. In the previous editions important personalities of cinema like Cristi Puiu, Rutger Hauer, Philip Groening, Claudio Giovannesi, Daniele Ciprì, Massimo Gaudioso, Massimo Cantini Parrini, Lina Nerli Taviani had been part of the international jury.
The films shown during this competition are Italian premieres and last edition was won by "The cage is looking for a bird" by Malika Musaeva.
There are four awards: Best feature film prize (3000€), awarded by a jury of renowned guests from both the cinematographic and academic worlds; and Best feature film – university jury prize (awarded by an university jury), Best feature film - Popular jury and the Marcello Petrozziello Award.
For those who are interested in this competition, the last day for submissions is July 15, 2026, until midnight.
There are no limitations to the genre or topic of the films. The only requirements are the following: the films must be at least 60 minutes long and must not have been screened before January 1st, 2026. Moreover, they must be Italian premieres, so they cannot have been presented in any other Italian festival, shown on any online open platform or distributed in any other way in Italy.

For the 20th year in a row, it will take place the historic short films competition, whose winner will receive a 1000€ prize. Every year, the selection committee of this competition receives more than 500 films to evaluate. Among the directors who took part in earlier editions, there are celebrities like Adan Jodorowsky, son of the famous Chilean filmmaker.
The films have no limitations in genre and topic. The only requirement is that they cannot last more than 29 minutes. For the short films competition, the last day for submissions is July 15, 2026, until midnight.

Second edition of the new short film competition,:"Lucca Film Festival for Future", which was born thanks to the collaboration with the Sofidel Group, 2nd producer in Europe and 7th in the world for production capacity in the sector of paper for hygienic and domestic use (known in particular for the Regina brand), which has made sustainability a strategic lever of development and responsible growth to reduce its impact on natural capital and favour the transition towards a low carbon impact economy.

List of the selected films will be published on the festival’s website within September 10, 2026. During the festival the movies will be shown in the cinemas taking part in the event and on demand online.

The Lucca Film Festival, coordinated by Nicola Borrelli, is one of the key events organized and sponsored by the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Lucca.
