THE FESTIVAL: MOVEMENT OF CULTURE
The Festival was born with a very specific mission: it aims to stimulate public attention towards an open and wide representative space, such as the rural environment, makes its outdoor projections, open to all, the best exponent. Youth and adults, generations separated by years and experiences, gather around a screen, which is the focus of the light of a past and a future: culture is timeless, culture unites, and film language will be the link common to temper emotions and feelings, to treasure memories, to provoke lively gatherings.
In this way, all attendees of the event can enjoy a heterogeneous and dynamic speech. Through this cultural impulse, the different currents of creativity allow viewers to move and explore new and old codes in a public space, creating community.
The Monterrey International Film Festival, ficmonterrey, opens its call for the submission of feature films and short films for the selection of its twentieth edition, which will take place from September 25 to October 2, 2024.

The registration dates go from the publication of this call, until its closing, on July 7, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. (GMT-6) without any possibility of extension. Feature film works (from 60 minutes onwards) and short films (between 1 and less than 30 minutes in length) will be received through the Festhome platform exclusively.
Selected participants will be notified via email during the first or second week of August and they will be informed of the continuity of the process. The Committee's selection is final. By registering, all participants who are selected agree to send all the required materials in a timely manner, as detailed in the Regulations and as they will be requested from their notification until the closing of the ficmonterrey. The registration of any material in this call confirms the acceptance of it and the attached rules. For this reason, before starting the process, we ask you to READ IN DETAIL the Registration Regulations available through the WEBSITE.

REACT Film Fest wants to celebrate the Italian and international cinema and with an international competition reserved for audiovisual works that represent new aesthetic and expressive trends of the worldwide cinema, with particular regard to the beginnings, emerging and not yet established authors, minor and less known cinematography, but also works which compete with the genres and the current production with innovation intent and creative originality. The kermesse allows directors to submit their works to be judged by professionals and challenge with other talented directors. Paleochora Lost World Short Film Festival launched its 1st edition in June 2019 to a spectacular success. The Festival enjoyed packed audiences at all screenings and played host to 22 visiting Filmmakers & Industry guests from as far afield as Brazil, Spain, USA, France, Ireland, UK, Germany, Greece & Iran. The 'Lost World' of Paleochora nestles between the Mountains and Sea in South West Crete and is the perfect location for Filmmakers to convene to show their work, network with colleagues and enjoy our fabulous Cretan hospitality. We may be at the most southern point of Europe, but there are Big Film things happening here and on the entire Island of Crete. Welcome to the XXI edition of the International Air Film Festival, a veteran festival that began in 1999 and has as its theme air and flight in all its facets. This year 2020 we turned twenty-one years old showing the best of flight cinema from all over the world to visitors to our festival. Twenty years in which the world of audiovisuals has changed radically, of formats, quality and also in production where we have very professional productions and also "amateur" producers that are able to surprise us with very original and well-worked formats and productions.
This film festival gave rise to the current "Festival del Aire" where we find endless activities related to flight and sport and where of course, cinema plays a leading role.
