We hope you will join us in a days full of fun and endless laughs! We will highlight comedy short and feature films, web series, TV episodic, filmed sketch comedy, Dark Comedy, music video and animation with the goal of screening the best comedic content from around the world for a wide audience! Our dual emphasis is on “discovering” great comedic talent with the purpose of promoting it to both the entertainment industry and the Moscow public, as well as, showcasing the works of seasoned professionals and well-known stars. We are proud to showcase, connect and promote talented comedy filmmakers from all over the world.
In a historical moment in which the fear of different seems to prevail and the values of equality and social justice are neglected for the benefit of a widespread selfishness, it seems important to us to experiment new initiative to promote the positive values that the Associazione Orchestra Multietnica di Arezzo tried to convey in these years using the universal language of the music. Solidarity, hospitality, integration, civil commitment, those are the values we want to pass on through cinema and Audiovision’s language, in an active citizenship experience above all young people, to give our contribution to a wide cultural sensibility growth, with a view to a supportive, multicultural and cohesive society.
Officine social movie: 5nd cinema and Audiovision’s festival dedicated to social issues and civil commitment and to dissemination of content that promoted solidarity, hospitality, social inclusion, cultural diversity and rights values.
Officine social movie is born for an attempt to create new artistic context and new formulas to convey, through cinema and audiovision’s versatility, the idea of cultural and social commitment above expressed. An open festival to short films presented by young emergent and independent filmmakers and videomakers, a showcase dedicated to projection of titles (movie, docu-movie, animation…) on call through film distribution channels also alternative. Projections that will be enriched by guest’s presence (filmmakers, authors, screenwriters, actors) with whose the audience will have the opportunity to confront at the end of projection.
We want to report that Officine Social Movie is born with the intention to pose the same caution both on the final result, the festival that will take place at Arezzo from 22th may to 28th may 2024, and on the project creation and implementation process. One of the targets is in fact the involvement of a group of young people who can share an active citizenship, giving space to their creativity.
To arrive to the festival made up by the step of design, analysis, planning and management, communication and critical vision of short films in the competition, will be part of the project itself, with the same importance of the festival days.
The group will be composed by some young people of the promoter association with around twenty people of the students from the Multimedia, cinema and graphic design sections of Liceo Artistico “Piero della Francesca di Arezzo” that, flanked by expert and operation, will draw the outlines of the festival, will draw up the national competition announcement, will be an integral part in the selection of short films in competition and will be part of the jury who will designate it the winners.
The students, in addition of being part of the group of the design team, will be involved in the creation of an own short film too, to be presented out of competition, as well as for the project and the festival’s video-photographic documentation.
The Officine Social Movie project has as leader the Association “Orchestra Multietnica di Arezzo” (OMA), in collaboration with Officine della Cultura, the Liceo Artistico Coreutico Scientifico Internazionale “Piero della Francesca”, annex to Convitto Nazionale “Vittorio Emanuele II” of Arezzo and Poti Pictures, with the support of Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Firenze, contribution Prodigio Divino and Associazione Autismo Arezzo. Philosophical Film Festival / Филозофски Филмски Фестивал is a unique film festival that lives on the crossroads between philosophy and film and is held annually in Republic of N. Macedonia. On one side, the festival tries to promote the idea of film as a medium which can provoke philosophical thought and illustrate philosophical ideas. On the other, it aims to trigger aesthetical analysis’ and investigations into film language as a form sui generis and empower young filmmakers and film workers to reflect on key concepts, questions and ideas in order to translate them into the visual language of cinema. International Festival Screen Culture “Thelovetcheskoje Kino” (hereinafter - Festival) is held among collectives (groups) of youth production in different forms of art, connecting with cinema, television, photography and different digital technologies.
Festival events are directed to formation and evaluating new global culture of production and reproduction age-diverse communicative samples of generations interplay and provides conditions of establishing new information community (environs), new culture of information society, where social-noetic (immaterial) factors of evaluating are information and knowledge. Festival holding promotes establishing of screen culture as a part of general information culture of present society.
General guiding of Festival methodology and organization is brought into action of Educational Complex “Nasha Shkola” (Russia, Novosibirsk).
Time, conditions, place and procedure of organization and holding of regular Festival are annually established of special document – Standing Order of Holding.

The “1st National Short Film Festival of Itaiópolis - SC” – ITAICINE – is held through the Catarinense Cinema Award Special Edition Lei Paulo Gustavo 2023. It will take place from May 23 to 26, 2024 - it is an event dedicated to the promotion and celebration of diversity cinema, providing a space for filmmakers to explore and share their creative visions and narratives in short films. This festival will cover the genres of fiction, animation and documentary, which highlight different aspects of cinema, offering an enriching experience for the public and supporting the growth of national film production, as well as inspiring the public to dream, believe in the extraordinary and embrace the diversity of stories that can be told through cinema. A space where imagination can flourish and where the boundaries of reality are challenged. II – GOAL AND MAIN OBJECTIVES
The democratization of Brazilian audiovisual production is the main focus of the 1st Itaiópolis National Short Film Festival - ITAICINE. The Festival aims to contribute to the appreciation of authorial audiovisual products and features competitive exhibitions in its program established in three distinct categories: SHORT FICTION, SHORT DOCUMENTARY and SHORT ANIMATION.
The festival theme is anchored in productions that talk about “Adventures and Fantasies” and within the main theme we will bring three subgroups:
• Adventure, Travel and Nature: It is designed to celebrate and recognize films that explore the elements of adventure, fantasy, travel and nature, providing enriching cinematic experiences. This selection highlights the importance of preserving nature and exploring our ability to dream and imagine worlds beyond reality, while valuing the artistic quality and emotional impact of films. It promotes awareness of the relationship between humans and the environment, encouraging appreciation and respect for nature.
• Surreal Fantasy and Science Fiction: Here, films explore realms of dreams and alternative realities. Included will be tales that defy the laws of physics and feature magical characters, mythological beings and enchanted places, science fiction elements that explore futuristic concepts, time travel and parallel realities expanding the imagination and offering audiences the opportunity to escape into extraordinary worlds. Narratives that challenge the limits of reality, captivating viewers with exciting journeys, magical creatures and stunning landscapes.
• Children's Adventures: This category is dedicated to films suitable for all ages, which provide children and families with an unforgettable journey into magical worlds full of valuable lessons.

As the annual winner, you will receive prize money of €500 and your trailer will be shown in front of every main film in the cinema for four weeks in front of several hundred spectators.

We invite young filmmakers from all over the world to submit their contributions to our festival. An online evaluation will take place every three months, in which the resulting winners will be listed on our website and presented on social media. In addition, the big annual finale takes place every year in December.
Here, all four winning films from each month will be shown in front of a live audience and awarded.
Our jury, consisting of experienced actors, directors and authors, analyzes all submissions and selects the best short films for screening in our festival's competition program.
The annual winner receives prize money of €500 and the trailer of the winning film is also shown in the cinema for four weeks before each main screening.

Backed by the prestigious University of Zulia, we are the longest-running short film festival in Venezuela, organised by the Cine Club Universitario de Maracaibo since 1981, in turn the first to be established in the country, in 1962, prior to the creation of the National Film Archive of Venezuela (1966).
The name of the festival was chosen because of the historical importance of the pioneer Manuel Trujillo Durán for the development of the production and diffusion of cinema in Venezuela, who only 13 months after the projections made by the Lumière brothers in Paris in December 1895, made possible the exhibition on 28 January 1897 at the Baralt Theatre in Maracaibo, of two of his films, an event recognised as the first cinematographic projections in the country.
HISTORY:
The origins of the FMTFD date back to the project drawn up by the professors of the University of Zulia: Gabriel Arriechi, Fernando Perdomo and Ricardo Ball, who with the unconditional support of Sergio Antillano, Rosa María Salom and Rafael Araujo organised the first edition, which took place from 28 to 31 January 1981 in various cultural spaces in Maracaibo.

Since its 15th edition in 2020, the festival has opened its doors to works and filmmakers from all over the world.

Maravíllame, the International Short Film Festival of the University of Cádiz has as main objectives to promote cinematographic culture and facilitate the exchange of talent and knowledge between the university and professional spheres.
