In this year of 2021, we are back, after a sour taste in 2020, we know for a fact that change is on the way. As filmmakers and creatives, we need to embrace ourselves, support our craft on a global level. As a film producer myself with multiple awards and participation on Brazilian and international projects, I know for a fact that technology can bring us close! So in this year, I want to invite aspiring, students and professional filmmakers to exhibit online in an across platform show your work, to touch on the matters that are most important on building a future where we produce film and media content to produce change, awareness and to unite the industry in a global level. We have special categories this year to facilitate the entrance of voices and persons from communities that need representing and a much more vocal presence in a still heavily dominated industry by old standards.

Magnetic Film Association is proud to announce the short film festival “N.I.F.F. Noto International Film Festival” 2024 VIII edition
Festival is dedicated to any short movies created in any format and opened to all Italians and foreigner authors.
N.I.F.F will award the prestigious “MARIO MONICELLI” award for the best direction.
The technical jury appointed by the organizers of MAGNETIC FILM PRODUCTION will be composed of artist and workers in the field of cinematography, music and journalism field, chaired by film critic Giuseppe Liotta.
IV ANIMAFILM International Animation Festival will be held in Baku from 20 to 24 October 2021. The festival will show dozens of foreign and local animated films for children and adults for five days. The goal of the organisers is to create an annual event that will delight the local and foreign audience and professionals, as well as promoting art of animation in Azerbaijan.
Cerdanya Film Festival, Festival Internacional de Cinema de Cerdanya, is a Festival specialized in the documentary, fiction and animation genre, short and feature films, consisting of competitive international sections, non-competitive sections and parallel activities. All the films that are part of the different sections will be selected by the Festival programmers.
Cerdanya Film Festival qualifies for the 2024 Premios Goya – Spanish Film Academy in Best Spanish Shortfilm, in both Fiction and Documentary categories.

Indy Film Fest was founded in 2004 to celebrate the art of cinema and to create a shared experience around film in Indianapolis. We are a non-profit, international, independent film festival programming both features and shorts. Our all-volunteer staff strives to bring the best films the industry has to offer to our community from home and abroad. We are also dedicated to educating and developing audiences for international and independent cinema in Indy, screening the kind of innovative, visionary work that may not normally achieve distribution in this area.
Indy Film Fest is looking for the best independent features and shorts no matter the category or genre including: live action, animated, drama, comedy, narrative, documentary, horror, sci-fi, and experimental. Our annual festival spanning over 10+ days typically programs around 25 features and 100 short films, with over 90% from submissions.
Always growing and adapting, the Indy Film Fest began as the three-day Indianapolis International Film Festival in 2004. We quickly expanded to our current 10-day format in 2006, moved our festivities to the summer in 2009, changed our name to the Indy Film Fest in 2014, and since 2018 have been back home in our original spring timeframe. Due to COVID-19 our 2020 and 2021 festivals were primarily virtual and our 2022 - 2024 festivals were hybrid 5-day in-person festivals followed by virtual availability and concluding with award-winner in-person screenings on the final weekend. That format is our goal for the 2025 festival and before selection decisions are made filmmakers will be informed of any changes to dates or format and given the opportunity to request their submission fee be applied to a future festival if those changes are not acceptable.
Alumni of the Indy Film Fest (and Indianapolis International Film Festival) are eligible for a reasonable number of free submissions. Films with significant ties to Indiana are eligible for drastically reduced submission fees. Examples of eligibility include the director or writer being a current Indiana resident or native, or the film being primarily shot within Indiana. Montevideo Fantastic Film Festival is the first Uruguayan festival dedicated to promoting national and international film productions related to horror, fantasy and science fiction genres. The 5th FINAL! #JuntandoSaberes, will take place from August 2 to 13, 2023. After almost two years of preparation (we are a biannual festival) and as a result of learning about the global pandemic, we have strengthened a mixed Festival model, where face-to-face and virtuality, proposing 60% of the programming in person, aimed at children, families, as well as older adults in their neighborhoods and cultural spaces in urban and rural areas of the cities of Cali and Palmira, all through the mobile unit EcoCine al Barrio and the Bicicine Ecológico, allowing the development of outdoor functions with broad participation. How we do?
Choose one or more categories and submit your short film.
Usually, our submissions start on 1th-4th of the month and end on the same day next month.
EACH submitted film will receive a short review from our judge team (on request)
PLEASE NOTE: We don't screen the films online! The members of the jury watch the films online and they choose the Official Selections.
In 5-7 days after the deadline day for submissions we publish the Official Selections list and we notify the filmmakers via e-mail.
During the next 5 days our members of the jury decide the winners for each category.
After that we publish the Winners list and we notify filmmakers by e-mail. The lists are published on social media and on our dedicated website: shortshotfest.com
In the last week of the month we screen the awarded films in art - center "Efir" in the heart of Moscow.
From August, 2021 we are OPEN for new season 2021/2022.
The Grand Finale 2021/2022 will be held in August, 2022 in Moscow.
