O vistacurta foi criado em 2010, na expectativa de descobrir e dar a conhecer a produção audiovisual ligada à região de Viseu. Desde 2017, inclui também filmes nacionais que perspectivam a questão do interior de Portugal.
Com a divulgação de centenas de filmes, participação de realizadores consagrados do cinema português e internacional, mostras paralelas e momentos em que a divulgação e o estudo do Cinema, como arte e cultura, são pensados, o programa constitui-se como pólo de relevo no panorama cultural e, em particular, do cinema e audiovisual, na região.
1st INTERNATIONAL GARANHUNS CINEMA FESTIVAL - PE
1 - Object
1.1. This is the 1st Independent International Film Festival in the city of Garanhuns Pernambuco idealized by the filmmaker Lucas Marinho
1.2. This Festival will cover audiovisual productions, unpublished or otherwise, short, and
feature films produced in any existing format and for any display platform in the categories of fiction, animation, documentary and experimental.
1.3. Productions will be accepted from the following year until the date of registration at the Festival.
1.4. Institutional and advertising productions will not be accepted.
2 - The purpose of the Festival
2.1. Stimulate and format new professionals; produce, publicize and commercialize Brazilian production, independent or otherwise, aiming to create a new audiovisual production hub in this region of the country, in addition to the existing one in the large centers.
2.2. To increase the tourist promotion of the city of Garanhuns and region, as well as the State of Pernambuco.
3 - Registration and Selection of Productions

Panorámica, International Independent Film Festival invites students of cinema, visual arts and communication, independent filmmakers, amateurs and professionals, from all around the world, to participate in PANORÁMICA 7th Edition 2020, which will be screened in several venues in Mexico City.
Panorámica is a spot for the promotion and display of cinematographic works. This event is a non-profit organisation, and its main priority is the independent cinema created by emerging filmmakers from all over the world.
The main aim of the Festival is to provide to new filmmakers the possibility of making their works widely known, and thus to facilitate a dialogue between the author and its audience. In order to make this happen, Panorámica will conduct Q&A sessions between the author, the festival’s crew/cast and the audience; these sessions will take place during the Festival.
We recognize the filmmakers' work by giving them a certificate for their participation. There will not be a physical or monetary award.
Opel call for entries: February 1st to Nov 15th.
Notification day: December 5th.

This year the Symi International Film Festival will run from 14 to 18 September 2020.
The Symi International Film Festival is held on the small Greek Island of Symi, one of the Dodecanese Islands close to Rhodes.
The Symi International Film Festival is part of the official Symi Festival. This is organised by the Municipality of Symi and runs from July to September.
The films will be shown at an outdoor venue (indoors if it rains). There are no charges to watch films at the festival.
Star Film Fest is dedicated to films made by young authors all around the world. Clear, simple, lovely but also serious! For 8 consecutive years, we have been giving opportunities to young, and talented filmmakers to showcase their works on the projection screen. Through the categories like documentary, feature, experimental, animated, and student film, Star Film Fest provides affirmation to students of the Academy of dramatic arts and the Academy of fine arts, but also to any young person that wants to engage in film outside academic frame.
In addition to film screenings and competition programs, Star Film Fest is held at several ambient locations in Sisak, and with accompanying content such as exhibitions, film workshops, concerts, and discussions on current topics, the festival proudly spreads film art propaganda which for centuries brings growth and cultural development to Croatia and the world while also calling for critical thinking and openness.
As a festival organizator, Kino Klub Sisak is also the only gathering place for filmmakers in Sisak-moslavina county. The development of Star Film Fest showcases the necessity of decentralization of film culture and art in Croatia. Therefore, by promoting the culture of filmmaking, creativity and critical thinking along with creating and maintaining a much needed platform for self-realization of young filmmakers, Star Film Fest gets the mark of a festival that is oriented on the prosperity of new, fresh creators, and audiences.
Muestra Intergaláctica Short Film Festival is a space where people can present their film projects of all kinds of genre.
It started as a small local show. Due to the response of the people and thanks to the support of sponsors, it has become an event with local, national and international short films.
The attendance to the Intergalactic Short Film Festival has increased edition after edition, initially with a unique function, however, since the edition of the year 2017, additional days were added to the festival in order to show content in a section of honorable mentions.
We have had more and more coverage by the media, and we hope in this edition to receive better and more productions from around the world, and of course a greater response from the public and satisfaction, as well as sharing the work of the filmmakers.

International Animated Film Festival "Tindirindis "- is not a commercial film scene. The festival's mission - to deliver the widest range of the animation world: the different styles, the schools work, to show the animation, which encourages creativity.

The InFest Film Festival is a 2-day freak short film Festival which is held in Rubí, a city of asphalt, industry and smoke located in the Valles Occidental, a region located near Barcelona (Spain).
The InFest festival emerges as a firm and clear proposal: that Rubí be known as the Rubiwood of the Vallés district. During the last 8 years, InFest has organized the best possible short film experience: outdoors screenings, concerts, bar service and all kinds of activities related to cinema. What else can we ask for?
The InFest is devoted to showcase new short films (produced after year 2019) showing Sci-Fi, Fantastic, Freak and Horror elements. Short films cannot exceed 15 minutes length (credits excluded). Foreign films MUST be dubbed or subtitled in Spanish or Catalan, or the film will not be accepted.
In 2024, InFest will celebrate its 9th annual edition. After the COVID-19 pandemic, the InFest was moved to the amphitheater of The castle of Rubí ("El Castell"), a defensive construction from the 13th century, which can host public events with more than 2000 people. The amphitheater features seats, stage and bar! Jury Prize and Audience Award will receive 1000 and 250 euros, respectively.
Welcome to the XXI edition of the International Air Film Festival, a veteran festival that began in 1999 and has as its theme air and flight in all its facets. This year 2020 we turned twenty-one years old showing the best of flight cinema from all over the world to visitors to our festival. The Aguilar de Campoo Short Film Festival is consolidated as one of the most veteran and relevant film citations in our country in its genre. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts of Spain, includes it as one of the key festivals for the selection of short films that will compete in the Goya Awards. Throughout the last editions the festival has been making important decisions that commit it to the cinema of our country. In his thirteenth edition he published his manifesto where he exhibited his philosophy and commitment to film. He made the decision to pay for selection to the selected short films thus eliminating economic competition in order to encourage artistic creation and production. Its screening rooms are open to international cinema including all genres, fiction, documentary animation and experimental cinema. In 2016 the festival received recognition from the AIC (Short Film Industry Association). "One Shot" promotes independent film production in Armenia. Submitted films have no limitations in shooting format. Films can be shot on cell phones, film and HD cameras. Competition has three categories: "One Minute - One Shot", "Short Movies" and "Cinema Without Border". There are special programs and panel discussions too.
"One Shot" International Short Film Festival is an open cinema platform. It was founded in 2003. The founder president is Gagik Ghazareh. Founder organization: Armenian Center for Contemporary Experimental Art. Symbol of the festival represents a three-dimensional statue of ancient rock carving from Geghama mountain which is 5000 years old.
The Asian Summer Film Festival wants to present the Asian culture through the popular cinematography produced in the countries of the continent.
The Festival has several categories such as a competitive section, retrospectives, screenings for children and theme nights.
