NOFI is a multi stage International Festival of New and Original Films. It was founded by the Center of American New Cinema and Arts (CANCA). The preliminary stages take place in Russia, Sweden and Armenia while the final stage is taking place in USA (Los Angeles). Each year an estimated 1000 independent and student films participate in the NOFI festivals from 60 countries. We have representatives in 10 countries including USA, Russia, Sweden, Armenia, Belarus, UK,Belgium, Holland, Arab Emirates and Philippines.
The goal of the NOFI festivals is to find and invite talented film directors to NOFI film studying and producing programs for shooting their films with the help of our sponsors and grants. We then represent, promote and will try to sell the best films from NOFI in the American Film Market, Cannes film market, Amazon, Netflix, Hulu and other markets. Winning films can also participate in NOFI sister’s film festivals in Korea, Poland, Germany, Estonia, Russia and Armenia. The winners from each category and diplomas of honor can have the opportunity to show their films (edited versions) at our NOFI film festival on YouTube channel. The best actors from the best films can join our “Accent” International Talent Management. Also the trailers of the awarded films will be in our web site for years, providing more exposure. Our festival helps expose new and emerging directors and actors. NOFI festivals give them an opportunity to present their names in motion pictures studios and be discovered in the film industry worldwide. NOFI is designed to showcase innovative work by new filmmakers who may (or may not) have been overlooked by other festivals. We organize forums and round tables with filmmakers during the NOFI festivals to understand their needs, help solve common problems with film production and discuss their future projects. Our slogan is- “Indie filmmakers without borders.” Many celebrities and representatives from film studios have attended screenings and award ceremonies of NOFI festivals.

O “Festival de Cinema Independente do Golfo de Nápoles” é um evento destinado a servir como uma vitrine internacional para filmes de vários tipos e gêneros, a fim de promover e divulgar filmes artísticos, autorais e experimentais que não são lançados nos cinemas, promover o diálogo entre diferentes experiências e criar um ponto de encontro para o apoio à cultura cinematográfica.
O Prokuplje Short Film Festival, fundado em 2011, é o festival de cinema mais jovem da Sérvia. In Prokplje é um evento onde o público pode ver o melhor do campo do documentário, experimental, animação e ficção de todo o mundo. Milhares de filmes de todo o mundo chegam ao endereço do festival, e isso foi refletido pelo grande público em Prokuplje, mas também em outras cidades da Sérvia e da região, porque a equipe organiza uma turnê na qual os melhores filmes são apresentados em mais de 30 cidades. A falta do cinema, assim como a falta de um filme como disciplina na escola, impede que os jovens aprendam sobre essa arte.
Para ver algo desse conteúdo, os jovens devem ir a Nis, ou mesmo a Belgrado. Esta é uma oportunidade de ver as últimas conquistas de curtas-metragens de todo o mundo em Prokuplje. Nos últimos anos, de acordo com pesquisas, houve um declínio na participação do público nos festivais em todo o mundo. Então, por causa disso e por causa da introdução do filme aos jovens, trouxemos o trabalho com eles, em todas as escolas primárias e secundárias, que são públicos potenciais e serão animadas pela apresentação de filmes do festival e pela discussão sobre o significado do Festival. Axolotl Film Festival of Mexico City with Cactus Films invite Mexican and international filmmakers residing in and outside the country to participate in its second edition to be be held from the 9th to the 13th of November, 2016 in the windows of different shops on the main streets of the Historical Center of Mexico City.
The shop windows are natural screens, generally disregarded, ready to present and recreate our lives and experiences in Mexico City. Commercial establishments are no longer meeting places for citizens and, conversely, are spaces that separate us. We believe that cinema can generate and promote a sense of community among the residents and the visitors of the city.
All participating short film and video need to reference, in their subject matter, characters, settings and/ or storyline, to Mexico City. The short films could have been produced in Mexico City, in other states or abroad.
ONLY GALICIAN SHORT FILMS
Short films only: under 30 minutes.
Submitted films must have been completed after 2017 and 2018 and they must also be Galician. This means they must have been either produced by companies or people from Galicia, directed by a Galician director.
Music videos must be Galician too. It means they must be either related to a song from a Galician musician or directed by a Galician author.
O Festival Internacional de Curtas-Metragens de Cali, por meio de sua chamada aberta para inscrições, busca ser um espaço para a exibição de curtas-metragens profissionais e universitários de Cali e de todo o mundo, estabelecendo-se como um ponto de encontro para cineastas emergentes e profissionais de curtas-metragens.
O 18º Festival Internacional de Curtas-Metragens de Cali acontecerá de 23 a 26 de setembro de 2026, em Santiago de Cali, Colômbia.
A chamada para inscrições para as seções competitivas do festival estará aberta a partir de 12 de junho de 2026, e as inscrições serão encerradas à meia-noite de 24 de julho de 2026, horário local da Colômbia (UTC-5).
Os filmes submetidos às seguintes seções: Seleção Oficial Nacional, Seleção Oficial Universitária Nacional, Seleção Oficial Internacional e Seleção Oficial Universitária Internacional devem ter sido concluídos após 15 de janeiro de 2025.
Os resultados da chamada de inscrições para as seções competitivas do festival serão anunciados no site oficial do festival, www.cortoscali.com, em 31 de agosto de 2026.

Athens Digital Arts Festival (ADAF) is an International Festival which celebrates digital culture through an annual gathering bringing together a global community of artists and audiences. Athens Digital Arts Festival aims to encourage, stimulate and promote all aspects of digital creativity by hosting local as well as international artists and communities.

Athens Video Art Festival was founded in 2005 with the intention to offer a platform to video art, installations and live performances. Within the following 10 years, the Festival gradually evolved and included more art forms, such as web art, interactive installations, animation, digital image, performances, applications and workshops, exploring creative aspects of technology and digital culture. In 2012, the Festival introduced the subtitle “International Festival of Digital Arts & New Media” in order to communicate the wide spectrum of its activities and events. Mostra 2021: edição comemorativa
A edição comemorativa de 20 anos da Mostra de Cinema Infantil de Florianópolis será realizada de 16 a 24 de outubro. A data, segundo a coordenação do festival, foi escolhida pelo fato de Outubro ser o mês que homenageia as crianças e por permitir avaliação criteriosa do cenário pandêmico até lá.
A 20ª Mostra deve acontecer de forma híbrida: presencialmente (se for seguro), com mostras itinerantes para alunos de escolas públicas e comunidades da Grande Florianópolis – Santa Catarina, e virtualmente, em canal exclusivo da Mostra de Cinema Infantil e por uma plataforma de streaming a ser selecionada.
Além das mostras competitivas, oficinas e shows, o festival exibe curtas e longas-metragens convidados de vários países. Também realiza o Encontro Nacional de Cinema Infantil e Fórum de Cinema e Educação.
“Em 2020 tivemos um público durante o evento de 20 mil pessoas. Em 2021 queremos beneficiar mais pessoas, porque já tivemos a experiência do ano passado e agora temos mais ferramentas para alcançar um público bem maior”, afirma Luiza.
Em 2021, a Mostra comemora 20 anos e o clima é de celebração pela trajetória realizada.
“Nos últimos 20 anos colocamos o audiovisual brasileiro para crianças e jovens na pauta anualmente: todos os anos chamamos a atenção para que o país e o mercado do audiovisual prestasse atenção neste público. Não só por causa da formação de plateia, mas em nome do desenvolvimento da cidadania. Uma criança que vê na tela a cinematografia do seu país e de países diferentes terá uma consciência maior e mais crítica sobre tudo”, conclui Luiza.

O Shortcup Film Festival é a copa do mundo de curtas metragens. Os filmes selecionados são distribuídos em 4 dias de exibição, onde cada filme representa seu país e a partir do voto do publico são escolhidos os finalistas e o curta metragem campeão no quinto dia.
A Copa dos Curtas acontece em bares em um formato desportivo, e sua 6ª edição acontecerá esse ano em 4 cidades simultaneamente, onde o vencedor é escolhido pelo voto popular.
As sedes do campeonato deste ano são:

El Shortcup Film Festival es un mundial de cortometrajes. Las películas seleccionadas son distribuidas en 4 días de exhibición donde cada filme representa su país. Por medio del voto popular de los asistentes son escogidos los finalistas y finalmente el cortometraje vencedor en el ultimo dia. El mundial de cortos se lleva a cabo en bares en un formato deportivo. En esta sexta edición se llevará a cabo en 4 ciudades de distintos países simultaneamente donde el ganador será escogido por los mismos espectadores.

The Festival will take place between the 1st and 20th of June 2019. Kinolub is held in various Festival cities in Southern Poland (up to 20 locations).
