Leiden International Short Film Experience (LISFE) is an annual film festival held in the beautiful city of Leiden in The Netherlands. LISFE is dedicated to Short Films from all genres and from anywhere in the world. Over the years we have built the reputation of successfully showcasing though-provoking films through a diverse and selective program.
This year the festival will take place from the 7th until the 10th of May in Kijkhuis (Leiden).

Le Festival International du Film Ethnographique du Québec est un festival gratuit qui a lieu simultanément à Montréal (du 28 Mars au 2 Avril 2019) et à Québec (dates à venir). Le FIFEQ est animé par la volonté de promouvoir le cinéma ethnographique au grand public. Unique en son genre au Canada, le festival vise à mettre en valeur l'être humain dans sa diversité en offrant une plateforme pour l'expression d'identités individuelles, collectives et culturelles distinctes. The International Festival of Ethnographic Film of Québec is a free festival that takes place in Montréal (March 28 to April 2,2019) and in Québec (Dates to come). FIFEQ is driven by the desire to promote ethnographic cinema to the general public. Unique in Canada, the festival aims to highlight the human being in its diversity by providing a platform for the expression of distinct individuality as well as collective and cultural identities. The selection of films from Canada and abroad offers an opportunity for reflection, dialogue and intercultural exchange where all are invited to discover "otherness".

Cyprus International Film Festival (CYIFF) is under the umbrella of Cultural International Festivals -a non-profit arts organization dedicated to promoting and supporting independent films and filmmakers that embody diversity, innovation and uniqueness of vision-. History: The festival was inaugurated on March 23, 2006 by the Cypriot Minister of Education and Culture Mr Pefkios Georgiades and was held in three cities, Larnaca, Limassol and Nicosia with the cooperation of K-Cineplex.
The Cyprus International Film Festival is the biggest of artistic high value independent cinema event of the whole region, spilling over Cyprus boundaries and spreading over the whole region with repercussions reaching worldwide. CYIFF is the first internationally oriented film festival which offers new and upcoming directors in multiple sectors of entertainment (such as feature films, short films, animations, music videos, dance, experimental films and video art) the opportunity to showcase their talent in front of a jury of internationally acclaimed cinema experts, directors and actors. CYIFF has a competitive section.
Films produced the last 36 months, by emerging directors are selected for the screening program.
-Women filmmakers (director and/or producer) can submit their film to compete for the Aphrodite Cinematic Award. There is no restriction regarding the production year, the genre of the film in this specific category.
-"50/50" is a category with film credits 50% men and 50% women. No restriction in genre.

フェスティバルミッション

It's a festival dedicated to showcase new Jazzfilm's from this century as well as known and unknown classics. The films will be screened in Cinemas and at chosen Livejazz-stages.
The Main event is taking place in February during the annual Winter Jazz Festival in Denmark and is followed by touring screens at specific chosen cinematic or musical stages in Denmark in collaboration with local partners during local Jazz Festivals.
