Arlington International Film Festival (AIFF) is an award winning organization with its mission being to foster appreciation for different cultures by exploring the lives of people around the globe through independent film. In 2014 AIFF was awarded the Community Recognition Award by the Arlington Martin Luther King Committee, in 2013 the Alan McClennen Community Arts Award by the Arlington Center for the Arts and the Gold Star Award by the Massachusetts Cultural Council. Through the founding of AIFF, the mission has also focused on enriching the community and broadening the view of our world and ourselves. AIFF is open to national and international filmmakers. Whether professional or a first time filmmaker, we welcome innovative, original films with unique perspectives. Many of our selected films have been nominated for Academy Awards; i.e. BOTSO: The Teacher from Tbillisi directed by Tom Walters, Elena directed by Petra Costa, and Documented directed by Jose Antonio Vargas. We Still Live Here directed by Anne Makepeace was chosen by the U.S. State Department to screen around the world.
El 15º Festival de Cortometrajes de Bangalore (26) es un movimiento para reconocer y popularizar el trabajo de cineastas jóvenes y experimentados de toda la India y el mundo. El humilde viaje del BSFF comenzó en 2012 para conmemorar los 100 años del cine indio y celebrar la contribución de la industria cinematográfica canaresa al desarrollo del cine en la India. El festival proporciona una plataforma a los cineastas aspirantes y profesionales para mostrar su talento con oportunidades de creación de redes y marketing en la industria cinematográfica.
El objetivo del festival es crear una cultura de cortometrajes en la India, promover a los nuevos cineastas, desarrollar fuentes de generación de ingresos para los cortometrajes y convertir la producción de cortometrajes en una empresa comercial. El BSFF-12 a 25 fue un gran éxito, con una gran participación de cineastas de todo el país y del extranjero.
El objetivo del BSFF-26 es crecer y mejorar aún más con la participación de cineastas. Este año, el festival presentará más talleres y clases magistrales. El Miniboxoffice Film Market será el punto culminante para aquellos cineastas que quieran incursionar en la producción de largometrajes. It’s a community moderated contest where the public audience will create a shortlist out of all qualified entries.

Now in its 16th year, the OJAI FILM FESTIVAL continues to grow in importance and prestige as one of the country’s premier destination festivals. The seven-day event has a reputation for showcasing the best new films from emerging and established filmmakers, and has helped launch a number of careers over the last decade. Since 2000, 14 alumni have received Academy Award nominations, two have won an Oscar, and numerous others have gone on to gain distribution and win prestigious awards.
The festival makes the most of its unique location, only 75 miles from Hollywood - yet comfortably removed from the typical industry hustle and bustle. With its relaxed atmosphere and breathtaking beauty, Ojai is an ideal spot for filmmakers to mingle with visiting industry guests, artistic colleagues, and distributors.
Among other perks, attending filmmakers receive free lodging and passes to the Ojai Film Festival's Awards Ceremony, where winning filmmakers are presented with several prizes, including trophies, cash awards, best-of category honors, and a Panavision camera rental package worth $60,000 USD for the Best Student Film.
Anibar International Animation Festival is the only event of the kind in Kosova, and one of the greatest events in the country. Since the beginning, the festival is organised and held in various settings in the city of Peja.
Anibar screens animated films coming from different places around the world, that in five cinemas, three of them set outdoors. Except the screening of the films during the festival, workshops, lectures, debates and additional daily activities (concerts and camping) are organized.
Year by year, the festival endeavors screening qualitative films, in both, technical and artistic aspect of the view. The selection of entries is made in accord with a criteria deriving from a limited staff of professionals who aim balancing the audience, artistic reviews and the market.
Anibar has also socially influenced the youth community in Peja, and further, enclosed with the film screenings and other events, before, during and after the festival, a wide group of youngsters are engaged in helping and working with the idea and preparations of the festival, meanwhile they gain an experience which as a matter has been truly acknowledged by a vast support of different local and national institutions (private and public).

La 16° edición del Festival de Cine Estudiantil de Uruguay (FENACIES) abrió sus inscripciones el 6 de abril de 2026, y permanecerán abiertas hasta el 30 de mayo. Como cada año, todos los estudiantes del mundo (desde Primaria hasta Universidad) podrán inscribir sus cortometrajes de manera totalmente gratuita, que luego serán exhibidos en Montevideo del 7 al 13 de septiembre.
FENACIES es un festival internacional de cine estudiantil con 16 años de trayectoria ininterrumpida en Uruguay, dedicado a la formación, exhibición y estímulo de jóvenes realizadores audiovisuales.
El principal objetivo del festival es fortalecer la educación audiovisual entre los más jóvenes, y que a través de la realización de cortometrajes puedan expresar sus ideas, para que luego se puedan ver reflejadas en pantalla grande. Se trata siempre de discernir con el criterio de la creatividad y las ideas, y se busca una competencia justa y leal de acuerdo a las edades que compiten.
Durante la semana del festival se exhibirán los cortometrajes que queden seleccionados. El domingo 13 de setiembre se darán a conocer los ganadores en la ceremonia de clausura.

En estas dos décadas, no sólo se convirtió en el más longevo de Latinoamérica, también fue un espacio de encuentro y resistencia para los realizadores muchas veces marginados del circuito prestigioso del cine local. Fue refugio para los espectadores cuando ni siquiera la pantalla chica saciaba las ansias de zombies (que hoy parecen omnipresentes) y gritos espeluznantes.
El BARS fue fundamental para el desarrollo de este tipo de películas y ofició tanto de semillero de directores como de plataforma para mostrar e impulsar la aceptación de su propuesta dentro del circuito comercial y los canales institucionales."

The Lahore International Children’s Film Festival is a project of The Little Art. It's an an annual event to showcase the best of local and international films made by, for or about children and young people. The Festival was started in 2008, and has completed its 9 seasons successfully and has reached to nearly 451,550 audiences.
Aiming at education as well as entertainment, the film festival is dedicated to promote the culture of film watching, media literacy and alternative learning among children and young people. Each year, the festival brings some of the best international films to Pakistan to promote, peace, creativity, social awareness, world cultures and the arts.
The Festival reaches to nearly 50,000 children and young people each year, from urban to rural areas. The festival defines “children and young people” as its primary beneficiaries, irrespective of their gender, social status, class, education or income level.
The festival has an inclusive approach to involve marginalized and less privileged children as its audience. We collaborate with NGOs and community organizations to show the world's best films to out-of-school and marginalized children across Pakistan.
2018 is the 10th season of the Festival and will take place in Lahore, Pakistan in October 2018.
