The cinema allows us to meet. Cinema makes it possible to travel kilometers in seconds, and move in time regardless of the era. Get to know other cultures, feel close despite the distances.

17 years ago, the Lapacho Film Festival strengthened its roots with the exhibition of regional, national and international short films, sharing experiences and fostering encounters between filmmakers from the province of Chaco to the country and the world.

The 2021 edition will take place in mixed modality: face-to-face and virtual simultaneously (if the context for Covid - 19 allows it). In addition to the functions in the cinemas, respecting the measures of care and prevention, and simultaneously and for the second consecutive year, the Festival will take place virtually through the page www.cine.chaco.gob.ar, where the complete grid, the talks will be available , workshops and master classes.

As always, we will try to promote the meeting between filmmakers, their projects and perspectives for the future. Actors and actresses, producers, technicians, and also the other arts integrated in various ways will have their space in this film festival. And of course, the prominent place will always be for the public that accompanies us from their seats and from the comfort of their homes.

There are too many festivals and it is impossible to recognize which could be valuable for you. Many are very costly and give no chance to get selected without having previous contacts. We created Rome Independent Prisma Awards, a monthly award ceremony with live and online screenings that doesn't ask you for a foolish fee, where your film can participate with other independent movies and with world-class talents in an equal competition, within reach of everyone all around the world. Nobody else offers so much for such a small fee.

WE LOOK FOR MEANING, WE LOOK FOR UNITY, WE LOOK FOR BALANCE

Rome Independent Prisma Awards was founded by Stefano Perletta in 2018. Hosted by Cinema Azzurro Scipioni, in its first year it saw Silvano Agosti as the president of the jury, a legendary italian director that has worked alongside the greatest italian professionals like Storaro, Morricone, Piovani and many others. Over the course of its second year it moved to Cinema dei Piccoli, one of the oldest movie theaters of Rome in the heart of Villa Borghese park since 1934.

Our winning films have gone all the way to A-tier festivals like “May Day”, 1st annual awards winner and Oscar-shortlisted film, “Alien“ by Yeon Je-Wang and “Inanimate” by Lucia Bulgheroni that got into Cannes Cinefondation, “Pierdete entre los muertos” by Ruben Gutierrez that was showcased into the feature films at Rotterdam Film Festival and many others.

We just launched our fourth yearly cycle, with a total renewal and the artistic direction curated by Marcello Di Trocchio.

For three thousand years, the Jewish people have been scattered around the world. That is why Jewish cinema is created in many different countries, alongside with special festivals that select and showcase those films. The Jewish Film Festival® in Moscow became the first of its kind in Russia. It was founded in 2015 and has been held annually ever since.

What is the Jewish cinema, after all? It encompasses far more than films made by Jewish directors or films which star famous Jewish actors. The never-ending search for Jewish identity, assimilation of diasporas and philosophy of self-determination and separation of the Jewish people in a society, return to the past, glorification of national heroes and mourning of victims, challenges of today’s world and the problem of relevance and preservation of traditions - these and many other issues attract filmmakers of all countries and continents. By searching and selecting the best Jewish films during the course of the past year we have attempted to shape an answer to the question of what these rapidly changing ethnic-themed films really are. Moscow, a large metropolitan area, a place where many cultures and nationalities live side-by-side, is one of the world’s most fitting locations for a festival that represents a dialogue of national communities.

The MJFF holds screenings of the most important and resonant Jewish films of the latest years. At the centre of the Festival is the Feature Films Competition Program, which is complemented by screenings of documentary films, short films and documentary shorts (as part of either competition programs or special screenings), as well as by discussions with experts on different topics raised in films and critics who specialize in Jewish cinema.

The Esseoesse Cultural Association announces the competition "CortoDino - International Film Festival Dino De Laurentiis -XI Edition". The Metropolitan city of Naples, the Giorgio De Chirico Secondary School of Art and Communication, the other secondary schools of Torre Annunziata and the Vesuvian area, the main cultural associations and the of the Vesuvian and Campanian area will collaborate in the event.

The competition came about from the desire to remember and celebrate, in his hometown and in terms not only commemorative, but proactive, the figure and the work of Dino De Laurentiis. The main objective of the initiative is therefore to create an opportunity for meeting, debate and awareness of young filmmakers who enter the cinema landscape, in which the influence left by the illustrious Torrese has certainly been significant, while at the same time promoting cinematographic culture through the inclusion of disadvantaged people and the research and promotion of works by talents from Campania, and also national and international.

The presence of the world of associations and that of the school is the clearest sign of the purpose of connecting in particular with the world of young people.

---------ENGLISH..................
The organization will nominate a Selection Committee that will have the task of choosing the works to be submitted to the judgment of the Public Jury, formed by the spectators at the screenings, and of the Artistic Jury. The latter, made up of experts in the sector, having evaluated the voting indications of the Public Jury, will proclaim, at its sole discretion, the winners among the works selected in the various categories.

The prizes, consisting of hand decorated lava stone, will be awarded to the winners of the following categories:

- Best Italian Short Film;
- Best International Short Film;
- Best Short Film “Over”;
- Best Short Film “Talento Campano”;
- Best Short Film School;
- Best Documentary;
- Best Animated Short Film

The "Talento Campano" prize is reserved to the author, born in Campania, of the best classified film.

Prizes will be awarded only with the presence of at least 3 works in competition.

The Artistic Jury reserves the right to report, in addition to the awarded, works and artists deemed to merit "Special Mention".

Festival Management will award prizes during the event:

- Manolo Bolognini to the most distinguished producer in the last year;
- Giuria del pubblico;
- Cortodino alla Carriera to established artists of cinema and entertainment;
- Buon Vento to young emerging artists;

- Wewé to the authors of videos, also made on smartphones and published on social media, that reflect real life in Campania.

- The works in foreign languages, under penalty of exclusion, must have Italian subtitles.

CortodinoFF launched in 2018 a national awareness campaign in favour of the deaf so that people with this disability can take advantage of the cinema show thanks to the subtitling in Italian of the films.

With the same merit, the Selection Committee will consider the works containing subtitles in Italian as the preferred choice.

Reports and related links must be sent to concorso@cortodino.it.

The Organization reserves the right to make improvements and/or additions to the categories and nature of the prizes.

The selected works will be published on the site indicated (http://www.cortodino.it)
The winners will be notified in advance to ensure their presence at the awards ceremony. For the awarding of prizes, it is necessary for the author or a delegated attend the event.

The awards will be presented by well-known personalities from the world of film, directly to the winners or their delegates. For winners coming from outside the Campania region facilities can be provided for their stay in the city, to be agreed with the organization.

The non-participation of the author, or delegate, at the final awards evening, does not oblige the organization to send the prize to the residence of the winner.
