From the 7th September until 22th 2015 Berliner Fenster and Seoul Metro in cooperation with SESIFF (Seoul) will run the 12th International Short Film Festival for 'Ultra Shorts' in Berlin's and Seoul´s underground trains. On over 6,100 monitors in Berlin and Seoul subways, 2.7 million passengers turn into an underground movie audience for two weeks, and can vote for their favorite of the 26 films.

Fondé en 2002, Yogyakarta, Festival Film Dokumenter (FFD) est le premier festival du film documentaire en Indonésie et en Asie du Sud-Est. Il se concentre sur le développement du film documentaire en tant que moyen d'expression et écosystème du savoir, à travers l'exposition, l'éducation et l'archivage.
Mettant en avant la notion née d'une conversation légère entre un groupe de jeunes, elle cherchait à explorer le potentiel brut du cinéma indonésien : le support documentaire. Certains traits distinguent les films documentaires des autres produits audiovisuels, un lieu important en tant que média qui éduque, réfléchit, transcende le temps et l'espace.
Au milieu du fort courant des médias, les films documentaires occupent leur propre rôle de média indépendant et aspirant.
Lors de sa célébration annuelle en décembre, Festival Film Dokumenter essaie toujours d'observer certaines questions sociales comme point de mire, ainsi que de créer un pont entre les documentaristes, les réalisateurs professionnels et le public général, dans le but d'améliorer la qualité et la quantité de l'Indonésie films documentaires.
The Sebastopol Documentary Film Festival is launching its 9th annual celebration of bringing strong, independent documentary films and filmmakers to West Sonoma County. Screening 71 films in 4 days during the 2015 festival, with over 90 filmmakers and guests in attendance, we had another incredible weekend of films and intense documentary discussion. 2016 is already shaping up to be another great festival. Our next festival will be held March 17-20, 2016. Le Festival international du film de San Pedro a été fondé pour célébrer la diversité culturelle et la communauté de San Pedro avec un large éventail de films indépendants, de documentaires et de courts métrages. SPIFF s'engage à présenter des films qui incarnent des divertissements inspirants pour tous. Au cours de notre première année, nous avons eu la première projection de Silver Linings Playbook à Los Angeles. Dans notre deuxième année, nous avons accueilli Ernie LaPointe, arrière-petit-fils de Sitting Bull. En 2015, nous avons célébré le 20e anniversaire de The Usual Suspects avec le réalisateur Bryan Singer. Nous avons également eu deux courts-métrages qui ont gagné ou ont été nominés pour un Oscar ! En 2017, nous avons organisé le 30e anniversaire du vendredi 13 avec le réalisateur Sean S. Cunningham. Nous sommes très excités par notre septième année !
L'écrivain et poète américain prolifique Charles Bukowski a appelé San Pedro à la maison pendant 15 ans. Certains des premiers courts métrages de DW Griffith ont été tournés à San Pedro. Ces jours-ci, vous êtes plus susceptible de trouver des équipes de tournage pour NCIS, Mad Men et Dexter. Parmi les autres films tournés à San Pedro figurent « King Kong », « Chinatown », « Point Breaker », « Silence des agneaux », « The Usual suspects' », « Pearl Harbor », « Titanic », « 500 jours d'été », et beaucoup d'autres. SPIFF est ravi de présenter notre 5ème édition dans une ville riche d'histoire cinématographique.
ABOUT FESTIVAL
Initiated by Istanbul University Faculty of Law - ‘The International Crime and Punishment Film Festival’ will be held between the dates of 16-22 October 2015 in Istanbul.
Festival aims to draw attention to the relationship between cinema and justice within an international organization and is considered to be unique as it will be held for the very first time in the world. During the Festival, approximately 100 films – amongst which are feature films, documentary and short films- will meet the audience.
The Festival will screen the latest movies of acclaimed film-makers as well as recent independent and examples from both Turkish and World Cinema. During the festival, panel discussions on cinema and justice, exhibitions, workshops and concerts will take place in addition to the movie screenings.

Multivision Festival is an annual event in St.Petersburg, Russia, held at November. The festival includes competition in animation shorts and video installations evaluated by a professional jury.

Multivision Festival aims to create an innovative dialogue with its audience, to integrate animation art in the environment of the modern megapolis. Multivision is known by its open-air summer projects: the public screening of the special competition programs at the erected parts of drawbridges on the Neva River in the center of St.Petersburg, from 2007. The festival program is projected on the giant screen 400 square meters attached to the bridge surface. From 2011 a street cinema competition is a part of main festival, it is held in summer, in the framework of Multivision’s public art project graFFFest, on evident weather reasons. In 2013 it gathered more than 30 000 spectators.

Croydon International Film Festival is a small independent short film festival run by volunteers on the outskirts of London. We screen short 10 minute or less Documentary & Animated films with a factual theme, with a focus on quirky entertaining true stories.
The CIFF festival is run by Donna Lipowitz, an Independent Documentary Filmmaker, and a small team of volunteers. The Venue, The Studio Theatre at Matthews Yard in Croydon is a fantastic space to hold film screenings, amazing people, great bar and cafe attached as well. Chaque année, notre festival se déroule à Paris au printemps, une saison magnifique et un moment passionnant pour ÉCU, car c’est alors que nous présentons environ 60 des meilleurs films indépendants du monde.
Bien qu’ÉCU mette l’accent sur les talents européens, le festival reconnaît également le génie des cinéastes internationaux grâce à plusieurs catégories dédiées aux films non européens.
La 21e édition d’ÉCU aura lieu en avril 2026 à Paris, en France.
ÉCU ne se limite pas à la projection d’une sélection exceptionnelle de films pendant ses trois jours d’événements à Paris.

Entre 2016 et 2025, ÉCU-On-The-Road a présenté des films dans plus de 80 pays à travers le monde, lors de mini-festivals ÉCU, de festivals partenaires, d’institutions culturelles et d’écoles de cinéma — y compris un festival spécial de sept jours à São Paulo (Brésil), rendu possible grâce au soutien de Caixa Cultural São Paulo, et qui fut un immense succès.
ÉCU a également organisé des événements spéciaux à Berlin (Allemagne), Atami (Japon), et a participé à des festivals au Liban, en Italie, en Russie, aux États-Unis, en Roumanie, en Autriche, au Danemark, et dans d’autres pays.
Cette initiative offre aux cinéastes d’ÉCU une visibilité exceptionnelle auprès de publics qu’ils n’auraient peut-être jamais atteints autrement.
Depuis 2006, ÉCU a contribué à la carrière de centaines de cinéastes, acteurs, directeurs de la photographie, monteurs et scénaristes indépendants, et nous sommes honorés de donner aux réalisateurs émergents la possibilité de faire entendre et voir leur voix.
Avant tout, nous sommes fiers d’être un festival dédié aux cinéastes.
