Il Dieciminuti Film Festival, è stato ideato nel 2005 dall’Associazione culturale IndieGesta, ed è riuscito a diventare in poco tempo una delle rassegne dedicate al cinema breve più importanti d’Italia.
Il Festival, alle cui prime 20 edizioni hanno partecipato più di 19.200 cortometraggi coinvolgendo quasi 24.000 spettatori complessivi, è strutturato in diverse sezioni competitive: Selezione Ufficiale (per cortometraggi fino a 10 minuti), Extralarge (per cortometraggi tra i 10 e i 15 minuti), Animazioni (per animazioni fino a 10 minuti), Doc10 (per documentari fino a 10 minuti), Visti da Vicino (per cortometraggi fino a 10 minuti realizzati da autori provenienti dalla provincia di Frosinone).
Alle sezioni competitive, per cui è aperto un bando pubblico diffuso a livello europeo, si affianca la Dieciminuti Academy, una scuola di cinema che porta giovani della nostra provincia a realizzare da zero un cortometraggio di finzione o di animazione. La cosa che rende unico il Festival nel panorama nazionale consiste nell’essere una vera e propria scuola per i giovani che intendono avvicinarsi al mondo del cinema. E’ poi molto apprezzata la Sezione Esplorazioni, che consente agli spettatori di entrare in contatto con la cinematografia breve proveniente ogni anno da un Paese diverso. Nelle scorse edizioni il festival ha ospitato i corti inediti dei maestri dell’animazione giapponese dello Studio Ghibli, diretto da Hayao Miyazaki, i corti del Teheran Film Festival, il cinema magico di Georges Méliès, le avanguardie, Lynch, il cinema breve spagnolo...
Il Social Film Festival ArTelesia è organizzato dall’Associazione Culturale no profit “Libero Teatro”. L’evento si avvale del sostegno del MIC Direzione Generale Cinema e Audiovisivo, della Film Commission Regione Campania, del Cesvolab, e del patrocinio della Presidenza del Consiglio dei Ministri, del Ministero del Lavoro, del Ministero dell’Istruzione, dell’Università e della Ricerca, dell’UNAR – Ufficio Nazionale Antidiscriminazioni razziali, della Provincia di Benevento, del Comune di Benevento, della Camera di Commercio di Benevento, dell’Arcigay Napoli, del Centro di Ateneo Sinapsi dell’Università Federico II di Napoli, dell’Università degli Studi del Sannio, dell’Università Suor Orsola Benincasa di Napoli, dell’Università degli Studi di Salerno, dell’Università UCAM San Antonio de Murcia (Spagna), del CADMUS. Il Festival è, altresì, è componente dell’Associazione Festival Italiani di Cinema (AFIC). All’organizzazione della XVedizione parteciperanno studenti delle menzionate Università in qualità di Stagisti.

Il Social Film Festival ArTelesia intende promuovere la cinematografia sia in Italia sia all’estero. Il Festival rappresenta una vetrina per la valorizzazione di film di interesse culturale, appartenenti al circuito del cinema indipendente e non. Luogo ideale per vivaci confronti tra produttori, autori e distributori, ma anche tra l’universo produttivo e il pubblico di riferimento, il Festival promuove la diffusione di film di alto valore artistico, capaci di contribuire alla crescita culturale e alla formazione di una matura coscienza critica nei giovani.
Il ficmonterrey è alla costante ricerca di narrazioni umane che si basino su punti di vista che emergono da un mondo in costante movimento e trasformazione, in interconnessione e innovazione per la sua selezione.
Il Festival cerca film con il potere di risiedere nella memoria collettiva del pubblico, con il potere di commuovere e creare un dialogo con loro.
Uno degli interessi principali del team organizzativo di ficmonterrey è incoraggiare nuove prospettive, coloro che sono giovani non perché sono giovani, ma perché sono freschi, per rimanere critici, per realizzarsi con l'innovazione e avventurarsi in vari rischi.
L'obiettivo generale di ficmonterrey è riunire a Nuevo León un pubblico di persona e uno virtuale in tutto il Messico, prima di una selezione di cinema contemporaneo messicano e internazionale creato da registi con visioni diverse, fresche, rischiose, critiche e innovative. Allo stesso modo, siamo interessati a fornire uno spazio di formazione che promuova l'incontro tra registi, film e pubblico; e attività che promuovano la produzione cinematografica, in particolare quella femminile e regionale.

Kan-Kan Media is pleased to announce the second edition of “A LONG WEEK OF SHORT FILMS FESTIVAL” Shanghai.
“A LONG WEEK OF SHORT FILMS FESTIVAL” is a unique film event that aims to bring together Chinese film and art institutions, film professionals, students and audience in Shanghai and create a platform to exchange and promote the diversity of the world cinema. During 10 days the festival will present more than 200 short films selected from more than 60 countries around the world.
“A LONG WEEK OF SHORT FILMS” Festival is the result of the collaboration between Kan-Kan Media and Chinese art and film institutions like Minsheng Museum of Contemporary Arts in Shanghai (official host of the Festival) and Shanghai Film Art Academy. It arises from the need to create a platform for a dialogue and exchange between film professionals, students, film communities and audiences taking as a reference point Shanghai/China.
The previous edition of LWSF was a huge success with more than 2000 submissions, 200 films selected and 10 days of film screenings, workshops, talks, music concerts and dance performances attended by 1000+ film-lovers, among them film professionals, students, film communities and artists of other disciplines.
This year the focus will be on the discovery of emerging talents both internationally and in China in order to bring them into the public spotlight and offer them the opportunities for networking and a platform where ideas and work can be exchanged among a new generation of film creators worldwide.
The festival has two main categories: International Section and Chinese Section, accompanied by showcases of outstanding festivals from various countries, as well as workshops, master-classes and other special events.
All the films meeting the submission criteria will be considered for the International Short Film Competition Award for Best Short Film, Best Director, Audience and Outstanding Story Award.

Il Shortcup Film Festival è la coppa del mondo di cortometraggi. I film selezionati sono distribuiti in 4 giorni di esposizione, dove ogni film rappresenta il proprio paese e il voto della giuria popolare definisce il round finale in cui il vincitore viene scelto il quinto giorno.
Lo scopo principale del festival è quello di unire una rassegna cinematografica competitiva con l'ambiente casual di un bar; quest'anno, alla sua sesta edizione, si svolgerà in 4 città contemporaneamente:

Iniziato nell'anno 1.959 e organizzato dal Dipartimento della Cultura del Municipio di Bilbao, ZINEBI celebrerà la sua 66a edizione dall'8 al 15 novembre 2024.

Montecatini International Short Film Festival, promosso dalla Federazione Italiana Cineclub (Fedic), con le sue 68 edizioni è uno dei festival di cortometraggi più longevi in Europa.
All'inizio, era principalmente destinato alle opere nazionali, ma a partire dagli anni '90, quando il Concorso Nazionale spostato in un'altra piccola città della Toscana, San Giovanni Valdarno, Montecatini si è affermata come vetrina di riferimento a livello internazionale, desiderosa di presentare un enorme panorama di nuove produzioni incentrate su diversi generi e tendenze.
L'obiettivo principale del Montecatini Festival Internazionale del Cortometraggio è quello di dare una visione completa del corto nel panorama cinematografico internazionale, nella sua estensione più ampia, puntando sempre alla qualità dei film e non all'aspetto glamour offrendo una bellissima location in Toscana dove discutere e magari trovare collegamenti per lavori futuri.

The Erie International Film Festival Call For Entries is now open to the US and International filmmakers, and we shall accept all genres of film including Narrative Features, Narrative Shorts, Animation Features and Shorts, Experimental Features and Shorts, and all forms of Horror, Suspense and Thriller films of Short and Feature length, all lengths of Comedies and Documentaries, along with Feature and Short lengths of GLBT and Religious/Spirituals films, along with Music Videos for the 2018 festival.

The virtual theater is the future of film festivals, as more and more festivals are now screening films online, and even the big festivals such as the Sundance Film Festival and the Tribeca Film Festival are moving to online screenings.
Our virtual theater allows the filmmaker’s work to be showcased to the world with the highest levels of security and presentation quality. Unlike any online screening system in the world, ours never allows films to be copied, downloaded, or reproduced in any way, nor can the HTML code of any film be copied and pasted into any other site successfully. No film launched in our virtual theater can play or even appear on any other website.

The PDXtreme Film Fest is the best damn genre festival Portland Oregon has ever seen! Taking place over 3 days at the historic Laurelhurst Theater, we showcase horror, crime, dark comedy, and everything in-between. Tales of the grotesque, the limits of the psychological, and bumps in the night whatever the cause! Does it take place in space? That's cool too.
This will be our fourth year! Continuing the traditions of the first 3 years, you can expect trophies, free beer for attending filmmakers, and no repertory films. In our first season we played 32 short films, and 13 feature films. Last year we screened 54 total films. It’s more badassness than should be allowed in one weekend!
Screening takes place at the Laurelhurst Theater, a legit theater that serves beer, wine, and pizza. In less than a minute you can walk to a variety of restaurants, bars, and other examples of Portland life.

The first annual Destiny City Film Festival (August 29 - 30, 2015) will be hosted by one of Tacoma’s oldest movie theaters and, at ninety years old, is one of the oldest continuously operating movie theaters in the country—the historic Blue Mouse Theater in the Proctor District of Tacoma, Washington.
