Film Front moves frontiers: open call for motion graphics exhibition
Film Front, international short film festival, due to be held from 25th to 28th October in the cultural centre of Novi Sad, has decided to include motion graphics exhibition in this year’s festival’s program. Artists can submit their animations, presentations, animated GIFs, animated elements and other pieces that belong to the category of motion graphics.
Even though motion graphics are rather a fine arts category, they are tightly connected to the moving images art. That is why Film Fronts wants to honour these artworks that more than often do not find their way to the film festivals, but whose aesthetic value overcomes their usually determined functional purpose.

This year's festival takes place at the Ricardo Montalban Theatre in Hollywood, California, and it will award productions in the following categories: Best Short Film. There will also be special recognition for Award Star Rise and Humanitarian Award.
The Hollywood Brazilian Film Festival is produced by Talize Sayegh, which also has been cooperated with major festivals like the Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival (Laliff) and the Rio Festival.

Entwaldung, Ölverschmutzungen, Verschmutzung von Böden und Meeren, Ausrottung von Arten, Verletzung indigener Rechte und Ermordung von Umweltschützern.
Dieser individuelle und kollektive Schatten wird von den großen Städten auf unsere Ökosysteme projiziert und steht unter dem Schutz staatlicher Legalität und privater Investitionen zugunsten von „Fortschritt und Industrialisierung“.
In Zeiten, in denen das Ungleichgewicht, das wir in der Umwelt verursacht haben, wie Klimakatastrophen und Veruntreuungen durch die Natur auf uns zurückkommt, liegt es an uns, es zu wagen, auf diesen Schatten zurückzublicken.

UNSEREN SCHATTEN ERKENNEN
Das Bogotá International Documentary Film Festival (MIDBO), organisiert von der kolumbianischen Dokumentarfilmmachergesellschaft ALADOS COLOMBIA, ist eine Fachveranstaltung, die dem Sachkino gewidmet ist. In den letzten 27 Jahren hat es sich in Kolumbien und Lateinamerika als wichtige Plattform für Ausstellungen, Dialog und kritische Reflexion über dokumentarische und audiovisuelle Sachbuchpraktiken etabliert.
In seiner 28. Ausgabe lädt MIDBO Filmemacher und Produzenten ein, ihre audiovisuellen Werke für den Filmaufruf 2026 einzureichen und an den verschiedenen Schulungs-, Diskussions- und Netzwerkräumen teilzunehmen, die während der gesamten Ausstellung sowohl virtuell als auch persönlich stattfinden werden.
Die 28. Ausgabe von MIDBO findet vom 28. Oktober bis 4. November 2026 in Bogotá, Kolumbien, statt. Im Laufe des Jahres wird das Programm auch in verschiedene Regionen des Landes reisen und die laufende Vorführserie MIDBO—ALADOS Tuesdays in Zusammenarbeit mit verwandten Veranstaltungsorten fortsetzen.
Nach 27 Ausgaben fördert MIDBO weiterhin eine Veranstaltung, die auf Überlegungen zum Dokumentarfilm und zu den vielfältigen Arten, wie wir uns der Realität nähern und uns mit ihr auseinandersetzen, zum Thema hat. Die vielfältigen Arten, die Welt aufzuzeichnen und zu interpretieren, stehen nach wie vor im Mittelpunkt unseres Interesses. Wir setzen uns dafür ein, die Komplexität einer Realität zu erforschen, die uns übertrifft, und bauen jedes Jahr einen sinnvollen Raum, um die dokumentarische Praxis zu sammeln und zu überdenken.

A Femme International Film Festival is a premier festival that focuses on platforming women filmmakers “by women, for everyone”. Our Festival was created in 2005, when it became apparent that there was a need to enhance women behind the camera as Directors, Producers, and Writers. We were the first in Los Angeles to host such an event and film festival empowering women. All those that followed are just duplicates of the movement we started over a decade ago.
Through our Partners and Sponsors we have provided one-one-one meetings with our filmmakers or helped secure financing. CBS Entertainment Diversity Department and Sony Entertainment met with a selected group of our filmmakers with the goal to offer potential employment and/or placement as a director or writer under their diversity department. It is through our direct efforts that these opportunities are being secured for our LA Femme Int. Film Festival Filmmakers.
As LA Femme moves into the next few years, it plans to expand its platform so that more women in the industry and from around the world can have the benefit of taking their film to the next level through increased distribution outlets, more key positions in the entertainment industry and more recognition as artistic creators emerging as leaders in the industry.

FICAMS, Antarctica’s International Film Festival about Environment and Sustainability is a competitive festival that gives and teaches community members, through films, diverse views related to our habitat and culture. Das Internationale Film- und Kurzfilmfestival von Tapiales ist eine nicht gewinnorientierte Filmveranstaltung von großer sozialer und kultureller Bedeutung, die von JC Films OFCT organisiert wird und in der Stadt Tapiales, einer Stadt der Partei La Matanza, in der Provinz Buenos Aires stattfindet.
Tapiales Cine/Corto ist auch eine Wettbewerbsveranstaltung, bei der die ausgewählten Kurzfilme, die später den Aborigine-Preis erhalten, nach der Entscheidung der ehrenwerten Juroren gezeigt werden.

B. ein Workshop zum Erstellen von Kurzfilmen, dessen Ergebnisse ausgestellt werden können. Festivaltage.
Langfristig ist das Ziel ehrgeiziger und besteht darin, die Öffentlichkeit aufzuklären, das kulturelle Interesse zu wecken und die soziale und berufliche Entwicklung der Gemeinschaft zu verbessern. The Beeston Oscar, or B’Oscar, is awarded to the best film in the following categories - Drama, Horror, Comedy, Documentary and Animation.
This year a new local competition has been created called Three Counties category, that is split into two sections: Long (up to 15 minutes); and Short (up to 5 minutes). Filmmakers from Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Leicestershire ONLY with films in any genre can submit. The prize pool is amazing because we have teamed up with Matthew Martino Benevolent Fund (MMBF), a UK based international charity that supports filmmakers and actors, so as well as a B’Oscar there is
Three Counties Long - a MMBF Rising Star Award (£150 prize, mentoring plus physical award and other perks)
Three Counties Short - a MMBF Best Short Award (£50 prize and physical award).
Further prizes will be awarded for Best Director, Best Script, Best Cinematography, Best Acting Performance, Best Soundtrack & Sound Design and an Audience award, too. And, of course, there is a wonderful Best in Festival B’Oscar, too, designed by the renowned ceramic artist, Anna Collette Hunt.
