HDIFF is the sister festival and the partner festival to the long running Action on Film MegaFest Festival which has grown to be one of the largest and well respected festivals. In its inaugural year, the Conquering Disabilities with Film International Film Festival seeks to recognize, serve and honor the mentally ill artist who is using art to heal themselves. CDWFIFF is part of the successful AOF Megafest. Now in its 16th year, MegaFest will host the Conquering Disabilities with Film International Film Festival.
Vegas, a tourist destination for so many reasons, now has one more event to draw you into its vibrant night life. All screenings and events will take place in the heart of Las Vegas, NV at various locations. Your work will screen in state of the art theaters NOT in hotel meeting rooms, bars, halls, libraries etc.
The directors at CDWFIFF along with the AOF MegaFest, have created a positive respectful environment to encourage dialogue and foster growth and understanding in an industry that is known for looking the other way. At CDWIFF you are understood, welcomed and loved. You are at home.
CDWFIFF seeks and accepts all genres of films, shorts, features, narratives, documentaries, written word, photography, art and music. The stipulation is that the work must deal with mental illness. Either the crew (director, DP, writer, talent) has a person who is struggling with or has overcome mental illness, depression, anxiety etc., or a crew member is a caregiver to a person with mental illness. We will also accept projects that are about mental issues. All submissions must include in their cover letter what requirement (s) the project fulfills.
CDWFIFF seeks screenplay submissions of all lengths/all genres that either cover the topic of mental illness or are the works of screenwriters dealing with mental illness themselves. We accept features, shorts, TV and Web Series Pilots, short shorts, and scenes, and poems. All submissions must include in their cover letter what requirement (s) the project fulfills.
CDWFIFF also wants musical scores and soundtracks, songs, lyrics, storyboards and poster art by individuals dealing with mental illness or content covering mental health topics.
CDWFIFF recognizes that Art has always been a means of healing and transformation. It is now time to recognize the artist.

AMTMIFS Film Festival is an International film fest and writing competition now in its 2nd year. The show features screenings and awards for up to 10 projects. TMTMIFS will run concurrently with the AOF MEGAFEST, the largest film event of its kind in the world. Anabelle Munro's The Most Important Films and Scripts Festival and Celebration is an independent festival that resides beneath the umbrella of MegaFest which is in its 16th year. TMIFS recognizes and honors films and scripts that make an impact on a people, on a society and on the world. TMIFS Fest celebrates the amazing talent that creates them. Film is a unifier and transcends all cultures and language. Munro's Festival is Open to ALL filmmakers and Writers in all genres and lengths. What Makes A Film Important?
Film is a gateway to other worlds, new realizations a deeper understanding of who, what, where, why and what we are.
Social Causes, Drama, Documentary, Experimental Films, Music Videos and the Written Word all compete daily for a space in our minds. This Celebration of film has only two purposes:
A) Give audiences a chance to see work of the highest calibre in beautiful luxury theaters and
B) Bring Recognition to some of the greatest filmmakers in the world.
The Adriatic Film Festival is organized by the cultural association Adriatic Movie and it is focused on independent movie with a particular attention on shorts and documentaries.

AZYL SHORTS is a unique event in Slovakia as well as in Central Europe. We create a space for presenting the authors of short films and music videos. Our main goal is not only to carefully prepare the competition itself, but to create a platform which will ensure the promotion of the artists to the professional and general public alike.
We have three competitive categories:

There will be screenings of not only the competitive sections of the festival, but also the best shorts from Oscars, Cannes and other well–known film festivals.
Our jurors from V4 countries will be the programmers for the V4 shorts section choosing the best films from their countries.
We are preparing great side events – masterclasses, discussion, film workshop for young filmmakers and of course evening off-program as concerts and parties.
The best movies from the festival will be presented not only in Slovakia, but also at different parts of the world, such as Hungary, Poland or Czech Republic, where the viewers will be able to see the best-ranked movies of the current year – The Best of AZYL 2024.
The Vegas CineFest and Awards is an International Film Festival founded in 2008.
We felt there was a lack of effective contests and awards being offered for short and indie projects that could advance the careers of new writers and filmmakers.
We began discussing the idea of launching such a festival and were soon joined by industry veterans whose contributions made the concept a reality and The International Vegas Cine Fest Awards was born. Vegas Cine Fest is an IMDB Qualifying Festival.
A non profit organization, it is one of the few film festival contests providing writers and filmmakers with the assistance needed to produce and expose their projects and then continue on to other major film festivals around the world.

Filmmakers like Karlos Alastruey, Tracey Birdsall, Stan Harrington, Anabelle Munro and many others credit us with getting their starts. We have featured the work of hundreds of filmmakers and producers via our television programs; The AOF Channel from NBC and the currently running Del Weston's Action On Film which airs on Time Warner Cable, Champion Broadband, Peg Media and of course online.

Batumi International Art-House Film Festival (BIAFF) was established in 2006. The founder and organizer is “Batumi Art-house ARGANI". BIAFF is an annual event held in second half of September in Batumi (Georgia).
Festival is focusing on art-house cinema. Lucca Film Festival is an annual event that celebrates and promotes cinematographic culture. Through screenings, exhibitions, conferences and performances, the Festival has been able to captivate an ever-increasing audience with a program that ranges from experimental to mainstream films. Through the years, Lucca Film Festival has carved out a niche for itself, standing apart from the many other festivals thanks to its bold yet carefully studied programming. Over the years, great names of international filmmakers and well-known celebrities have attended Lucca Film Festival as invited guests; David Lynch, Oliver Stone, Jeremy Irons, Willem Dafoe, George Romero, Terry Gilliam, William Friedkin, Alfonso Cuarón, John Boorman, Rutger Hauer, Joe Dante and Peter Greenaway, just to name a few. At the same time, the Festival has offered retrospectives of “old” glories while unearthing new talents. To top it all off, breathtaking Lucca serve as a stunning backdrop to an event that has now firmly established itself, becoming a highly anticipated and not-to-be-missed appointment in Italy and in Europe: the Lucca Film Festival.
Since its creation, the festival has always been committed to promoting contemporary films.
Therefore, directors from all over the world can submit their films to the competitive section of the festival through the dedicated call for entries. The 2022 edition of Lucca Film Festival will be held from 23 Semptember to 1 October, both in cinemas and online.
The 2023 will be the 8th edition of the Lucca Film Festival International Feature Film Competition. In the previous editions important personalities of cinema like Cristi Puiu, Rutger Hauer, Philip Groening and Claudio Giovannesi had been part of the international jury.
The films shown during this competition are Italian premieres and last edition was won by "Yamabuki" di Juichiro Yamasaki.
There are three awards: Best feature film prize (3000€), awarded by a jury of renowned guests from both the cinematographic and academic worlds; and Best feature film – university jury prize (awarded by an university jury), Best feature film - Popular jury and the Marcello Petrozziello Award.
For those who are interested in this competition, the last day for submissions is July 14 2023, until midnight.
There are no limitations to the genre or topic of the films. The only requirements are the following: the films must be at least 60 minutes long and must have been produced in 2022. Moreover, they must be Italian premieres, so they cannot have been presented in any other Italian festival, shown on any online open platform or distributed in any other way in Italy.
For the 18th year in a row, it will take place the historic short films competition, whose winner will receive a 500€ prize. Every year, the selection committee of this competition receives more than 300 films to evaluate. Among the directors who took part in earlier editions, there are celebrities like Adan Jodorowsky, son of the famous Chilean filmmaker.
Even though the “free experimentation” is the fil rouge of this year's edition, the films have no limitations in genre and topic. The only requirement is that they cannot last more than 29 minutes. For the short films competition, the last day for submissions is July 28, 2023, until midnight.
Lucca Film Festival launches, for the 2023 edition, a new short film competition, "Lucca Film Festival for Future", which was born thanks to the collaboration with the Sofidel Group, 2nd producer in Europe and 7th in the world for production capacity in the sector of paper for hygienic and domestic use (known in particular for the Regina brand), which has made sustainability a strategic lever of development and responsible growth to reduce its impact on natural capital and favour the transition towards a low carbon impact economy. The prize is 1000€.
List of the selected films will be published on the festival’s website within September 15, 2023. During the festival the movies will be shown in the cinemas taking part in the event and on demand online.

The Mexico City Videodance Festival, in collaboration with Red Nacional de Arte, calls choreographers, filmmakers, companies and visual artists to register their works to the sixth edition of the FIVideodanza, which will take place from September 02 to 05, 2021.

The Death's Parade Film Festival is happening October 4th and 5th 2019, at the Towne 3 Cinemas in San Jose California ; a 240-seat venue with a built-in stage, equipped with cutting-edge HD digital projection, and a booming surround sound system.

This event also serves as the California Bay Area's first horror-centric film festival in three years. You will not find any sci-fi or fantasy here. Just horror. You may find some laughs, however; be prepared for thrills and chills!
FIDEMA only accepts short films under 18' long, and only with Spanish Subtitles.
The theme of the festival are the six basic emotions: sadness, anger, happiness, disgust, surprise and fear.
This edition will be adapted to the sanitary conditions of the country's covid.
