It have been already Sixteen years of this festival, which year after year, with firm step, has expanded its proposals for good cinema. Lies far away 1999, when sponsored by the humoristic duo Gomaespuma and M-80 Radio began the first edition of the festival with the slogan “the Indians are coming! ”. Eventually Imagineindia has internationalized, showing films from all over the world while those from Asia are still assuming the bulk of the festival.
LA PECCA -Small Environmental Film Contest- was born in 2007 by the DeFrente Association.
The main purpose of this project is to promote respect for sexual and gender diversity through cinema, contributing to the development of a plural and inclusive society.
Taking a quality film event as a vehicle, we show plural life stories and encourage people to visibly live their sexual and gender identity, to promote social awareness and claim at the same time the right of the LGTBIQ + community to be present in culture and in society equally.

Since its inception, its objectives have been aimed at serving the lesbian, gay, transsexual and bisexual community in response to a social demand by being this group in a situation of marginalization and discrimination in many areas of daily life.

The festival invites people from all over the Capital Region of New York and all over the world. Everyone is welcome to submit their short films. We support students and first-time filmmakers too. We encourage all types of documentaries, animation, drama, comedy, experimental, music videos and horror short films.
Films will be viewed during the festival by the public. We have Q/A Panels throughout the festival. Our greatest goal is to celebrate the art with you and your viewing audience, so it's important that you have fun in the process!
Submissions are now open for another edition of the Primeiro Plano Film Festival of Juiz de Fora and Mercocities.
You can submit your short film to the festival's competitive sections until July 31.
The Regional Competition is open to filmmakers from Juiz de Fora and the surrounding region. The Mercocities Competition is dedicated to first-time directors from across Brazil and South American countries.
In addition to screening selected films, the festival continues to encourage new productions and strengthen the independent audiovisual sector.
The festival takes place in November and features a diverse programme including film screenings, workshops, panel discussions, networking events, and special activities for both audiences and filmmakers.

This initiative has been created as a platform to encourage the creation of new cinematic works, promote emerging talent and generate real opportunities for the development, production and distribution of short films.

The Rio Mountain Festival is the largest and oldest mountain film festival in Brazil. It takes place in Rio de Janeiro, which, despite being a coastal city, is surrounded by iconic mountains. Among these mountains are Sugarloaf Mountain, with its famous cable car; Corcovado, with the Christ the Redeemer statue; and the imposing Pedra da Gávea. Issni N’Ourgh, meaning “Golden Crown”, is an Amazigh film festival founded in the city of Agadir.
