Formula Mundi
Impact On Tomorrow

How do today’s actions influence YOUR future tomorrow?
Formula Mundi is an international film festival dealing with humanity’s consequences on its surroundings.
Its topic is inspired by the BUTTERFLY EFFECT: “The phenomenon whereby a minute localized change in a complex system can have large effects elsewhere.” According to this idea of chaos theory, a butterfly can flap its wings in Chicago and thousands of kilometers away a tornado occurs in Tokyo.

Climate change, wars, inequality, poverty, and religious conflicts are the main topics society struggles within this age. They are often associated negatively, therefore people tend to say that their voice alone wouldn´t make a change anyway. But viewed from a more optimistic perspective: A Choir is strong when many voices come together. One must take the first step and others will follow.
Every Individual can contribute his part to the future. Every individual´s action today can make an Impact On Tomorrow, may it be in a bad or good way, selfish or selfless.
We want to encourage you to take action no matter if big or small.

The event is split into three different categories, each screening takes place in its own unique location on three Saturdays in November/December 2020. More Information are listed in each category.

FM 2020 - The festivals reboot is organized by Guido Kühn and Christian Fischer, in collaboration with ambitious students from Hochschule Fulda.

Dear friends and friends:

Once again we have the honor of inviting you to be part of our festival for which we look for films of any duration, theme or origin that, embracing the tools of real cinema, represent diverse points of view on the contemporary human experience.

In this version we are once again a face-to-face space, returning our hearts to the collective bodies of the desert. AricaDoc was born as a path to explore alternatives to the competition and commodification that industrial logics impose on the cinematographic arts.

Promoting a sensitive and political meeting based on the active search for new ways to feel our relationship with the world around us.

We are deeply grateful to each and everyone who has joined the communities of audiences of the festival from distant territories, thinking of them and them is that at least part of the program will be available on an online viewing platform, for access from Peru, Bolivia and Chile.

For this year the activities will be concentrated between August 28 and September 9. Being this call open between May 13 and June 10, through FESTHOME or as a direct application by registering your films and completing the application form available on the site aricadoc.cl

Thanking you in advance for your kind participation.

Kindly say goodbye

THE HUECC FESTIVAL is a film festival that seeks through itself a space for the construction of new community film schools. Currently, this initial experience and through the festival could give shape to the ARROYO SCHOOL, which brings together 40 boys, girls and young people from the neighborhoods on one side of the Las Piedras stream.

Everything raised by this festival is intended to continue with the community film experience and the future construction of the first community film school in Argentina.

All genres, formats and durations are accepted. A selection will be made for the best organization and programming of the Festival. We will take into account formal experimentation and aesthetic risk

We freely accept all kinds of short and feature films without restriction on the production date.
