Festival of Future Storytellers has been one of the most important festivals for young filmmakers worldwide since 1981. Each year, it offers young filmmakers from all over the world a platform for presenting their own short films and exchanging ideas about filmmaking. Each November, Munich becomes the focal point of up-and-coming international filmmaking — a place for lively exchange, networking, and discussion.
The short fiction, documentary, and animated films screened in international competition are eligible for valuable prizes, which are awarded by an independent festival jury. In addition, Festival of Future Storytellers presents a DACH Short Film Competition, in which short films from the DACH region will be programmed. An extensive supporting programme with panels and masterclasses complements the film programme.
The first edition of “International of Curtas – Pangeia Festival”, a festival dedicated in exhibition and promotion of short audiovisual works, with specific thematic, develop in each edition. The festival wants to get together works that have until 5 minuts of duration, with the related thematic in audiovisual production by directors residing in the Americas or Africa, with a lot of options of possibilities that reach since movies about everyday life, historical movies, of anti-racist practices, biographicals and very others possibilities. The 9th Ajayu International Animation Festival is a cultural event organized by Sapa Inti Studios and the Ajayu Cinematographic Association. For the ninth consecutive year, it stands as the only animation festival in Peru, carrying out hybrid film and educational activities from the highest point of the Peruvian highlands to the world.

Established in 2012 as a quarterly screening series in Toronto, Canada, Shorts That Are Not Pants is now a festival weekend held each November.
We've screened more than 350 films from 41 countries so far, and we're looking for more undiscovered gems to show our shorts-savvy Toronto audiences. Members of our programming team have experience working for some of the biggest and best festivals in the world (TIFF, Sundance, Hot Docs, Cannes) and travel to festivals around the world seeking out the best films and the brightest filmmakers to support.
Your submission will be evaluated by our team and if chosen, will screen at our festival in November 2020. We have eight years of great programming experience behind us, with lots of audience momentum.

How we do?
Choose one or more categories and submit your short film.
Usually, our submissions start on 1th-4th of the month and end on the same day next month.
EACH submitted film will receive a short review from our judge team (on request)
PLEASE NOTE: We don't screen the films online! The members of the jury watch the films online and they choose the Official Selections.
In 5-7 days after the deadline day for submissions we publish the Official Selections list and we notify the filmmakers via e-mail.
During the next 5 days our members of the jury decide the winners for each category.
After that we publish the Winners list and we notify filmmakers by e-mail. The lists are published on social media and on our dedicated website: shortshotfest.com
In the last week of the month we screen the awarded films in art - center "Efir" in the heart of Moscow.
From August, 2024 we are OPEN for new season 2024/2025!
The Grand Finale 2023/2024 will be held in August, 2025 in Moscow.

Desde los años 40 se vienen filmando películas en Atlántida, producciones argentinas, norteamericanas y uruguayas han tenido como paisaje y protagonista distintos espacios de la ciudad.
Desde "La casta Susana", con Mirtha Legrand, hasta "Miami Vice", la playa y las construcciones costeñas han otorgado un set de rodaje realmente inspirador para realizadores y público. Sin duda la infraestructura y las bellezas de Atlántida permiten el feliz rodaje de films de las más variadas facturas.

We’re Women Directors Film Carnival, Initiative taken by well experienced and well connected Media Professionals with aim to provide a platform for Women Directors, Producers, Editors, Writers and Cinema Lovers to share their works. We give a space for women in all areas of filmmaking to share their stories, experiences, and expertise. As we strongly believes that Media in our society can be reshaped to have a stronger positive impact on our society, If we educate and empower more Women to work in the medium, take part and active involvement in ownership of the industry, and educate the people on these issues. We at Women Director Film Carnival wants to shine a light on Women being overlooked for jobs with the lack of equal opportunity that is given in the Film and Television industry and create conversations and opportunities for Women to develop an industry that has equal opportunity.

YATAY International Vertical Festival based in Córdoba, Argentina. First exclusive festival of audiovisual content in 9:16 format in Argentina.
We propose ourselves as a space for exploring the vertical format as an expressive medium for audiovisual content. We seek to become a space for dissemination; propose the development of productions in this format and create training spaces.

The celebration of the XVI Edition of the CortogeniAl Film and Short Film Festival will take place in the town of Puente Genil (Cordoba, Spain) between October 10th and October 18th of 2025.

ReAnimania International Animation Film Festival of Yerevan was founded by cartoonist, painter and animator Vrej Kassouny in 2008.
Armenia’s history in animation had begun 70 years prior, with the release of the first Armenian film, Lev Atamanov’s (né Levon Atamanyan) The Dog and the Cat in 1938.
In striving to honor the craft in both spirit and in name, the Festival has since reintroduced the art of animated filmmaking to Armenian audiences.
The festival includes a selection of highly anticipated non-commercial features and shorts with 15 in-competition and non-competition programs and a Market Forum for Animation Professionals (MARANI). ABOUT PROGRAMMING
The Slamdance Film Festival accepts films in every genre, on any topic, from every country around the world. We spotlight low-budget Narrative and Documentary Features by first-time directors, Breakout Features from non-first time directors, short films across genres, and episodes. We do not disqualify any films based on premiere status or date of completion.
The festival program is selected entirely from our blind submissions pool and no films are given special treatment based on who made them or who they know. Over 200 Slamdance alumni filmmakers are responsible for the programming and organization of the festival. Comprised of a variety of backgrounds, interests, and talents, but with no individual filmmaker’s vote valued more than any other, Slamdance committees have been able to stay close to its original DIY spirit and continue to champion the bleeding-edge of contemporary filmmaking.
As always, we have no premiere or production timeline requirements. All films that have screened online as a part of a film festival are also eligible for consideration.
