Animotion Film Festival is a competitive Film Festival dedicated to 2D-3D Animation and Stop Motion Films. The fourth Edition will be held in Florence (Italy) at Guelfi Sport Center on July 14th 2021.
After the success of the previous editions, sealed by the presence of the art director Roberto Faenza, Giuseppe Piccioni, Marco Risi, Ettore Scola, Alessandro Haber, Alessandro D’Alatri, Giò Giò Franchini, Mimmo Calopresti, Daniele Luchetti , Marina Confalone, Cristina Donadio, Marco Mario de Notaris, Guido Lombardi, Nunzia Schiano and Nandp Paone as chairpersons of the jury, Ignazio Senatore, psychiatrist and film critic, will conduct the annual Festival of Short Films “I Corti sul lettino – Cinema e Psicoanalisi” aimed at Italian and foreign filmmakers. Cinema 4L was created with the intention of bringing the best short format cinema to the smallest towns and rural areas of the Valencian Community.

For the city of Chivilcoy the launching of an international film festival represents a chimerical cultural proposal. Its background is based on previous experiences that bond these individual and collective practices: shootings, film’s retrospectives, workshops, festivals and other events that take place in our community. This whole set of inputs is a key component, coupled with the suitable reaction of the local public who are eager to rejoice at the "seventh art" and to enjoy a festival as a space for exchange, dialogue and circulation of cultural goods.

It is organized by the Vila-seca Tourism Board and collaborates with the Academia de las Artes y las Ciencias Cinematográficas de España – Premios Goya as a Collaborating Contest in the Preselection of Short Films in the categories of Fiction and Animation for the Goya Awards.

The 12th International Documentary Festival of Ierapetra & Awards, offers you the opportunity to submit your documentaries now, in order to compete in the monthly awards of the Festival for February. Winners will automatically qualify to compete for the annual Festival awards, taking place from August 2nd to 24th, 2025.
This year the IDFI, is dedicated to Climate Change. It is worth noting that films from all thematic sections will be eligible at the end of each month to compete for the annual awards in August. The rich thematic sections of the Festival include: human rights, recordings of memory, docudrama, young directors, true stories, climate change, environment, the role of women, Greek Panorama, views of the world, human portrait, violence, war threat, diversity, socio-political discrimination, religious conflicts, racism, migration, as well as themes related to all forms of art and culture, such as folklore, customs, mythology, history, biographies, ethnographies, journeys, and travel-tourist documentaries.
The 12th International Documentary Festival of Ierapetra & Awards, promotes the best documentaries from Greece and around the world for screening in its’ competitive section. Ierapetra, the southernmost city in Europe, a crossroads of cultures and continents, will once again host a plethora of films and artists from the ends of the earth. The judging panels consist of international recognition personalities.
The film files must be in mp4 format and must have embedded English and Greek subtitles (in case of foreign dialogue).
