Cheer! Shudder! Never sleep again! Audiences and filmmakers discover their new favorite genre films at the world’s premier program of horrific, dreadful and weird movies – Nightmares Film Festival.
Nightmares Film Festival is a destination horror and genre fest conveniently held in the heart of the Midwest: easily reached, easily navigated and inclusive Columbus, Ohio. NFF sets itself apart from other genre fests by its deep year-round connection to the horror filmmaking community, which gives it the first line on the rarest, scariest, most daring and most unsettling films being created around the world.
Festival screenings are held at the world-renowned Gateway Film Center, named one of the 20 best art houses on the continent by Sundance. The film center’s dedicated team of expert projectionists – maybe the last such team in the country – oversees all presentation, to ensure every film looks and sounds its very best.
Nightmares Film Festival celebrates writers with a screenplay contest for horror feature and short scripts, overseen by a Script Pipeline grand champion and 2017 Screenwriter of the Year. Support for screenwriters includes an opt-in internal listing service before the festival, which allows all selected filmmakers the option to read finalist screenplays and meet with the writers at NFF.
NFF also rewards fandom with surprise gifts and giveaways for its most faithful screening attendees, lovingly known as The Sleepless. So don’t skip that midnight block!
World-class screening facilities. Top-notch films. Filmmakers and fans being shocked and celebrated together. Nightmare Film Festival is a prestige festival and part of advancing horror filmmaking around the world.

As the health situation worsens in Lisbon (and all across Europe) we are faced
with the difficult situation of not having the legal conditions to show the films publicly in November, as we intended.
Lisbon Film Redenzvous wants to live up to your screening expectations. So we have decided to postpone our event date to June 2021 and extend it's program to accommodate all the best films we have received.
All the approved films have their place booked in the next edition’s program.

The MALDITO Videopoetry Festival is organising this competition with the aim of making visible two disciplines that, both together and separately, are much more distant and forgotten than we would like them to be. If experience tells us that both disciplines are minority and marginal in large European capitals, let alone the desert in which they find themselves in provincial capitals, where the circuit for their dissemination is practically nil.
We, as lovers of poetry, image and the expressive possibilities of their symbiosis, propose a line of action, encouraging the approach of the general public to the Festival and trying to make it grow from the first edition.
Our wish is that MALDITO reaches as many people as possible, with a growing presence and repercussion in the media and social networks.
MALDITO seeks to vindicate videopoetry as an art that connects people, that transmits feelings and promotes original or different ways of seeing the world, to try to be a grain of sand that makes any kind of visual or poetic art stop being marginal and cursed.(* The Spanish word for damned is MALDITO).
We expand sections by adding International Poetic Film Showcase.
12° FESTIVERD – Venezuela: UNIVERSIDADES VERDES
**
Our vision: to become a green film and video festival that, from Venezuela to the world, serves as an example in the creation of loving-parental bonds among all the inhabitants of planet Earth.
**
Our mission: to offer an alternative to environmental and ecological experiences that aim to rescue parental ties between all biotic and abiotic beings. The exhibition on green audiovisual narratives is interrelated with other streaming, media, transmedia and social network experiences, generating a network of virtual ties that we want to turn into parental ties.
**
Our Philosophy: We distance ourselves from anthropocentric views and excessive mandates about caring for the environment that end up being anthropocentric traps without an understanding of the biology of love. The use of new technologies, academic and artistic production are the main vehicles for dissemination.
