International Film Festival for Children and Youth in Zlín belongs among the oldest and largest events of its kind worldwide. The festival is a non-profitable event with all screenings and supporting events free of charge. The audience consists mainly of children and youth from the Zlín region, but also university students and adult visitors to whom late-night screening slot with appropriate dramaturgy are devoted. More and more film professionals from all over the world come to Zlín. In recent years have been providing intensive support for young emerging filmmakers, which reflected in the competitive section of European First Films and non-competitive section of midnight movies called Night Horizons. Screenings are accompanied by a series of seminars, workshops and entertainment events. Each year the festival devotes its edition to a selected cinema of one particular European nation.

18º Festival de Cortometrajes Rodinia 2026
GuglileMoMarconi filmf - Festival Internacional de Cine para Niños y Adolescentes (anteriormente vvfilmf) se creó para crear un gran festival de cine para niños y adolescentes que combinara talento y cultura, para indicar lugares acogedores para los jóvenes y ofrecer talleres dedicados al estudio de nuevas formas de expresión artística.
#GuglielmoMarconi filmf (anteriormente vvfilmf) pretende ser una iniciativa dirigida a todo el país e internacionalmente para satisfacer tanto las expectativas de la población joven como las de los espectadores adultos, en un intento de acercar al público en general a las formas de cine de calidad. La programación del Festival, a pesar de tener como público preferente a niños, escolares y universitarios, también se abre con entusiasmo a los adultos y a toda la población interesada en el arte cinematográfico, fascinada por la cultura artística y visual, apasionada por la enseñanza, la pedagogía, la diversión y la educación pero también el simple entretenimiento.
Representa una buena oportunidad para mostrar nuevos itinerarios formativos, ofreciendo un programa de actividades culturales en constante renovación, y para proponer, a través del medio cinematográfico, habilidades respetuosas y reflexiones fructíferas abiertas a todos los miembros de la escuela.
El festival cuenta con el alto patrocinio del Parlamento Europeo, el patrocinio de la Presidencia de los Ministros italianos, el Ministerio de Cultura, Trabajo y Políticas Sociales, de Turismo, de casi todas las regiones italianas, de muchas provincias y municipios italianos.
Entre las colaboraciones multianuales que vvfilmf ha desarrollado se encuentran RAI Cinema, Fondazione Ente dello Spettacolo y con RAI Radio 2 y RAI Educational.
Debido a la alta calidad de la selección de películas en competición y a la profesionalidad del trabajo realizado a lo largo de los años, el presidente de la Fundación Bienal, Paolo Baratta, y el director de la Bienal de Venecia, eligieron el festival para elegir a un grupo de jóvenes miembros del jurado y acompañarlos en el mundo del cine internacional durante el Festival Internacional de Cine de Venecia.
SHORTS en TRANSILVANIA
Sabemos lo difícil que puede ser para los cineastas producir y distribuir sus obras, especialmente si se trata de cortometrajes y producciones independientes. TRANSILVANIA SHORTS [Festival Internacional de Cortometrajes] es una herramienta útil para que todos los cineastas puedan seguir exhibiendo sus películas y obtener la opinión y el reconocimiento del público que se merecen. Además, las películas seleccionadas en la competición del festival son promocionadas, proyectadas en el festival y evaluadas por un equipo de expertos del sector. Transilvania Shorts ayuda a los cineastas a conseguir el reconocimiento del público apasionado por el cine y los medios de comunicación y, además, a ser recompensados por su trabajo.
¡Venga a celebrar y compartir su pasión por el cine! Transilvania Shorts, que se celebra en hermosas ciudades medievales como Cluj-Napoca, Sibiu, Brașov y Târgu Mureș, trae cortometrajes de todo el mundo a la hermosa Transilvania. En el futuro, el festival se ampliará para estar presente en las principales ciudades de Transilvania. El programa del festival de este año mostrará una amplia variedad de cortometrajes internacionales, en las categorías de: narrativa, animación, estudiante, vídeo comercial, documental, experimental, vídeo musical y stop-motion.
Ya está abierta la inscripción para el 12º Festival Internacional de Cine en Balneário Camboriú, un evento completo que presenta al público lo mejor del cine internacional y brasileño.
Los programadores buscan presentar el trabajo de directores nuevos o consolidados, que estimulan diferentes tipos de sensibilidad, a través de largometrajes, formato medio y cortometrajes. El FICBC también busca obras audiovisuales innovadoras realizadas en diferentes soportes de producción destinados a diferentes formatos de exposición.
Cineastas, profesionales y artistas participan en actividades con el público y contribuyen al desarrollo de cinéfilos, nuevos profesionales y pensamiento crítico.
El mercado audiovisual incluye el concurso de guiones, la reunión de coproducción, la sala de directores, Country Focus y otros.
La Residencia Audiovisual ofrece talleres, conferencias y debates públicos con artistas y profesionales.
«Cada año FICBC es más completo, sin olvidar nunca dar visibilidad a cada película seleccionada. Hubo muchas reuniones entre el público y los profesionales y entre profesionales de diferentes países que permitieron consolidar nuevas coproducciones», afirma André Gevaerd, fundador y director del festival. Para la comisaria, Barbara Sturm, el objetivo es «mostrar lo mejor del cine artístico actual en producciones nacionales e internacionales y colocar directores para interactuar con el público y la prensa».
Es un evento cultural con un formato innovador que se ha consolidado como un evento de gran importancia. Varios medios de comunicación siguen su desarrollo y lo sitúan como parte oficial del calendario anual de los principales festivales de cine. En diez años, presentó invitados importantes como los directores Carlos Sorín, Frederike Jehn, Helene Klotz, Hanna Doose, Beto Brant, Renato Ciasca, Sérgio Machado, Rubens Velloso, Patrícia Moran, Francisco García, Chico Faganello, David Schurmann, artista Hans Op Beeck, las actrices Bianca Byington, Paula Braun, Djin Sganzerla, Christiane Tricerri, los actores Marcos Azevedo e Ivo Muller, crítico Rodrigo Fonseca, entre muchos otros, que estuvieron presentes y tuvieron contacto directo con el público.
LAS DIFERENTES SESIONES DEL FESTIVAL:
Internacional: muestra películas que hacen su debut internacional o nacional. Cortometrajes, medianos y largometrajes de todo el mundo que participan en un concurso.
Nacional: Especial para producciones brasileñas. Cortometrajes, medios y largometrajes.
En directo: abierto a nuevas manifestaciones del lenguaje audiovisual a través de nuevos medios de producción y diferentes soportes de exposición. Cine ampliado, cine en vivo, instalaciones y formatos que van más allá de las posibilidades del cuarto oscuro.
Catarina: proyecta películas realizadas por directores de Santa Catarina o que tienen una relación (director, productor, reparto, equipo, ubicación, otros) con el estado de Santa Catarina.
Nocturnal: abre una ventana al fantástico cine durante las sesiones nocturnas.
Little Owl: trae programación para todas las edades, formación de jóvenes fanáticos del cine.
El Festival VER CINE 2024 es una producción de Benguela Produções e Eventos Culturais, que tiene como objetivo:
a] Promover la cinematografía brasileña, teniendo en cuenta los diferentes géneros y formatos;
b] Permitir el intercambio de producciones en todos los estados;
c] Permitir el acceso democrático del público de la Baixada Fluminense a la producción audiovisual reciente;
