In 2017 we screened over 40 films from 10 countries which were selected out of nearly 300 submissions from 40 countries. FILM SCORE celebrates the musical heart and soul of film and the composers and artists that make films sing. The 2018 Film Score and Scruffy City Film & Music Festival be held July 26-29 in Knoxville, TN, the Scruffy City.
All films submitted to the festival must have a standout soundtrack, score, sound design, or musical narrative to be considered. Each year one outstanding feature film with the Best Score or Soundtrack will be chosen to headline the festival. Also, awards are given for Best Score, Best Music Video, and Best Soundtrack.
All winning short films will receive submission feee waiver codes for Shorts that are Not Pants in Toronto.
All official selections will receive two Filmmaker Passes and attending filmmakers will receive our world famous VIP Gift Bag. Select films will receive complimentary accommodations for visiting filmmakers. Every year several films are reviewed and promoted by the regional media.

FILM SCORE CHALLENGE
New in 2018, the Film Score Challenge will showcase films under five minutes long with the best story and score. The winning student and non-student film will be invited to screen at festivals around the US and the world. Film Score Challenge Official Selections will be judged by award winning composers and festival directors.

El 9º Festival Internacional de Cine Anual de Toyama tendrá lugar en junio de 2020 en la prefectura de Toyama. Tuvimos tanto éxito el año pasado, que estamos emocionados de compartir las visiones de cineastas de todo el mundo una vez más con esta pequeña comunidad. Inscripciones estarán abiertas hasta el 15 de mayo de 2020.
El 2º Festival Internacional de Cine Anual de Toyama tuvo lugar en la prefectura rural de Toyama, Japón. Iniciado por algunos profesores de inglés en la zona, esperábamos llegar a muchas personas, no sólo en Japón, sino en todo el mundo. Y seguramente lo hicimos. El festival fue un gran éxito con más de 100 inscripciones de 30 países diferentes. Un gran paso de sólo 10 inscripciones en nuestro primer año. Esperamos continuar esto en el próximo año en beneficio del Japón.
El 1er Festival Internacional de Cine Anual de Toyama tuvo lugar en una pequeña sala dentro de un centro comercial, con una capacidad de alrededor de 70 personas. Al año siguiente, el evento se celebró en la ciudad de Toyama en un local independiente, Bodegas-Mambo, con unos 80-100 invitados que acudieron a ver las películas. Este año esperamos ampliar aún más y proporcionar un espacio aún más grande para los participantes y la comunidad cinematográfica en Japón.
Este año hemos llegado al resto del mundo y hemos desafiado a todos a producir cortometrajes en beneficio de la caridad y a ayudar a crear una cultura cinematográfica en la prefectura de Toyama.

Rahway International Film Festival is an international film festival and networking event based in Rahway, New Jersey, U.S.A, only 40 minutes away from New York City. It was first held in June of 2013 in an effort to create a warm and welcoming home for independent filmmakers and fans of film in the Tri-State Area. We annually showcase short films, feature films and music videos while offering networking and workshop opportunities to those interested in the film industry.
This year’s event will take place over the course of a full weekend from Friday, August 28, 2015 - Sunday, August 30, 2015. As we enter our third year, we are expanding to a three-day weekend event. This means more films (including both features & shorts), more workshops, more seminars, more filmmaker Q&As, and much more!
