Das D'A - Barcelona Film Festival ist ein wettbewerbsfähiges Filmfestival, das einen umfassenden Überblick über das aktuelle Weltkino bietet und ein internationales Panorama des besten zeitgenössischen Autorenkinos zeigt und die Entdeckung aufstrebender neuer Talente und Kinematographien mit international etablierten Regisseuren kombiniert und Filme.
Das 13. Filmfestival von Barcelona findet vom 23. März bis 2. April 2023 statt.
Das Festival zeigt narrative und dokumentarische Spiel- und Kurzfilme, Musikvideos sowie Experimental- und Animationsfilme in wettbewerbsorientierten und nicht wettbewerbsorientierten Bereichen. Diese Veranstaltung wird durch Repertoire und Sondervorführungen ergänzt. Das 22. Cine Las Americas International Film Festival (CLAIFF22) fand vom 1. bis 5. Mai 2019 in Austin, Texas, statt. CLAIFF22 begrüßte nicht nur über 3.000 Zuschauer für Filme und Sonderveranstaltungen, sondern zeigte auch 114 Titel. Diese Auswahl repräsentierte die Teilnahme von 25 Ländern an der Produktion oder Koproduktion der Projekte, darunter Argentinien, Australien, Bolivien, Brasilien, Kanada, Chile, Kolumbien, Costa Rica, Kuba, Dominikanische Republik, Ecuador, Frankreich, Deutschland, Jordanien, Mexiko, Niederlande, Peru, Portugal, Katar, Spanien, Arabische Republik Syrien, Großbritannien, Uruguay, USA und Venezuela.
In den letzten 22 Jahren hat Cine Las Americas mehr als 2.600 Filme in Austin und bei verschiedenen Vorführungen im Bundesstaat Texas gezeigt und ist damit zu einer der renommiertesten lateinamerikanischen Filmorganisationen des Landes geworden. Cine Las Americas bleibt eine gemeindeorientierte Organisation, die vielfältige Möglichkeiten für Kultur, Bildung, berufliche Entwicklung und Unterhaltung bietet. Jedes Jahr bringt das Filmfestival eine Vielzahl internationaler Filme und Filmemacher nach Austin, bietet Netzwerkmöglichkeiten für Branchenfachleute und bietet den Teilnehmern ein reichhaltiges kulturelles Erlebnis.
Das Hauptziel des Festivals ist es, Dialoge über Notfallthemen durch Kino als Plattform für Mediation und Engagement in der Provinz Colchagua zu öffnen, auch die Rolle des Ausstellers des nationalen und lateinamerikanischen Kinos und unabhängige Werke aus verschiedenen Teilen der Welt zu übernehmen.
Unsere Motivation für diese Version 2021 liegt in den sozialen Transformationen, die sich auf die Menschenrechte und die Erhaltung des Ökosystems konzentrieren, sowie in der Verbreitung und Verbesserung des Erbes, um das Colchagua International Film Festival als Raum für intellektuelle, politische und kulturelle Aufruhr.

Women in Film
Women play an important role in filmmaking and there are many talents out there and to celebrate Women in Film we have two categories. One programme is a focus solely on Women directors, the second programme category will focus the work of women practitioners in the roles of writers, actresses, producers and Directors of Cinematography but please note the film lead roles must be female led. If you have a film that has a strong female led role or strong female writer etc and you want to be considered for this sectin of the festival please submit to the Women Practitioners category. Film Directors should submit to the Women in Film (directors category).
General Information.
Established in 1995 the festival is now in it's 16th International Shorts edition. Kinofilm has a unique reputation for showcasing the best short films from around the world, whilst being renowned for seeking out diverse, challenging and groundbreaking new films. We welcome filmmakers that are pushing the boundaries of the short film art form. The festival maintains a high standard with many European & International award-winning shorts featured in the Festival. It includes special programmes in North West Shorts (UK), British New Wave, Euro Cine, International Panorama, Kino Exposed (student and youth shorts), low/no budget shorts, Animation and various themed programmes, giving new and emerging filmmakers the opportunity to have their work screened alongside that of critically acclaimed, established short filmmakers.
Please note for 2019, the festival will move dates to February 2020. We will further welcome short films and animations from Eastern Europe as we extend the Polish festival to include more Baltic countries. This year we welcome films for this section from Romania and Russia.
As part of out 16th anniversary we are introducing a features section called Transitions for those short filmmakers that have successfully made the transition from short film to feature. This section is for previous entrants of Kinofilm Festival and can only be entered if you have previously had a short film at Kinofilm Festival. You must provide the name of the short film and year of the festival it was screened in advance of submitting..
All short films should have been completed since January 2018 to present and be no longer than 20 mins (accept documentaries which can be up to 23 mins including credits). PLEASE NOTE FILMS SHOULD NOT BE ONLINE FOR PUBLIC VIEWING. ANY FILMS THAT ARE SEEN TO BE IN THE PUBLIC DOMAIN WILL FACE DISQUALIFICATION.
WE ARE OFFERING STUDENTS (world wide) , GREATER MANCHESTER FILMMAKERS, Youths and community groups, Eastern European Filmmakers and Alumni Filmmakers 20% OF ALL SUBMISSION FEES (please see offers at the top of this entry). The discount is automatically applied when you submit your film to the relevant sections, entry fees start at just $10.00 Please note PROOF OF ELIGIBILITY MUST BE SHOWN in all these categories in advance of submitting the film, you will then receive a code to submit your film.
IRANIAN Filmmakers can submit for free (see above details).
Please note, if your film is selected for screening in one of the cinema screenings you must be able to provide either a DCP or high-quality Bluray of your film. Please contact us if any issues with this and we will try to resolve it by showing the film in one of the other programmes not requiring either of these formats. If it playing in one of our other venues then we will require a digital version, details supplied if your film is accepted.
REFUNDS GIVEN ONLY IN THE FOLLOWING CIRCUMSTANCES: Please note if you make a genuine mistake and submit your film to us not realising that it does not fit all of the criteria, or you have to withdraw it for other reasons, we will refund your fee if the request is made only within the first two weeks from the date of submission. Films withdrawn later for other reasons such as you wish to withdraw it as your film has been accepted in another festival that requires premier status, will not receive a refund. (Please note that any refunds will be after FFW (8%) and PP (3.5%) commission fees already deducted from your fee, you will only be refunded the net amount that the festival receives).

2. To nurture new talent and support the work of culturally diverse, emerging filmmakers.
3. To attract an industry base of filmmakers and media industry professionals, to encourage the exchange of ideas and development of partnerships.
4. To attract cinema goers and diverse audiences that would not normally experience the short film art form or film festivals.
5. To focus on the needs of the regions filmmakers, visiting filmmakers and the region’s audiences.
The Cardiff Independent Film Festival will be held over the 5th to 7th May 2017 in Chapter Arts Centre, Cardiff. This will be our third festival, following highly successful events beginning in 2014. We're a fun, friendly and open festival run by film-lovers that celebrates the best in independent cinema and adheres to the highest ethical standards.
We're non-profit, which means ALL of the submission fees go into the running of the festival. And we are truly independent - we don't take public or corporate money so the films we pick are our favourites.
We also attract big-name guests: CIFF2015 saw talks by Stephen Frears and Paul Andrew Williams and the great John Boorman present the Welsh premiere of his final feature Queen and Country. We may be small but we punch above our weight.
We will be screening five feature films, ten short films and five short animations in competition and there will be out-of-competition screenings for other films of significant merit.

Das Miniboxoffice International Film Festival ist jetzt das Noida International Film Festival. Nach drei erfolgreichen Ausgaben des Miniboxoffice International Film Festival, das hauptsächlich Kurzfilme anbietet, wird es nun um eine Abteilung für Spielfilme erweitert. Im Jahr 2014 hat das Management von Miniboxoffice es nach dem Namen der sich am schnellsten entwickelnden Stadt Indiens in „NOIDA“ umbenannt. Es ist eine Hommage an die Stadt, in der Miniboxoffice im Jahr 2010 gegründet wurde, und in der Stadt selbst befindet sich Nordindiens größte Filmstadt.
Ziel des 13. Noida International Film Festival-26 ist es, das großartige Kino von Filmemachern aus aller Welt in großem Umfang zu präsentieren und gleichzeitig professionelle Netzwerke zu bieten und den Teilnehmern aktuelle Kinotrends vorzustellen. Ziel des Festivals ist es, unabhängige Filmemacher zu stärken und sich zu einer erstklassigen Filmveranstaltung zu entwickeln, die das Wachstum unabhängiger Filmemacher fördert.
Die Ausgabe 2014 bis 25 von NIFF war mit der Teilnahme von Filmemachern aus mehr als 90 Ländern ein großer Erfolg. Es wird erwartet, dass das NIFF-26 viele Meilensteine in der Entwicklung des unabhängigen Kinos erreichen wird. In diesem Sinne heiße ich alle Filmemacher willkommen, sich der Bewegung anzuschließen, die das Denken und die Kultur verschiedener Nationen auf höchstem Niveau in Form eines bereichernden und unterhaltsamen Kinos vereint.
Das Europäische Fantastische Filmfestival von Murcia SOMBRA ist ein Projekt, das darauf abzielt, in Europa produzierte Fantasy-Filme zu verbreiten und als Referenz zu dienen sowie die europäische, nationale und regionale Gender-Produktion zu unterstützen.

Unser 1980 gegründetes Festival, das erste seiner Kategorie in Südkorea, hat sich vom Korean Short Film Festival zum Busan Asian Short Film Festival im Jahr 2000 und schließlich zum Busan International Short Film Festival 2010 entwickelt (www.bisff.org).
BISFF findet Ende April im Busan Cinema Center statt und verleiht ein Dutzend Auszeichnungen in drei Wettbewerbssektionen (Internationaler Wettbewerb, Koreanischer Wettbewerb und Operation Kino) und präsentiert gleichzeitig mehrere kuratierte, nicht wettbewerbsorientierte Bereiche, darunter: Guest Country, Korean Shorts, Asian Shorts, Prism, 3D Cinema usw.

BioBioCine, das Internationale Filmfestival von Concepcion, ist eine interkulturelle Sammlung von Wissen und Weisheit, die durch das Kino zum Ausdruck gebracht werden. Ziel ist es, ein Ort für Dialog und Kontemplation zu sein sowie nationale und internationale Kinematografie aus einem Gebiet zu verbreiten, zu fördern, zu unterstützen und ihr einen Wert beizumessen und Identität, die als Rahmen für ihre Jahrestagung festgelegt wurde.
Das BioBioCine International Festival ruft für seine elfte Ausgabe zu Werken aus allen Ländern und Kulturen auf. Spielfilme: Fiktion, Dokumentation oder Animation, die sich auf Sportthemen konzentrieren.
Kurzfilme: Kurzfilme, Dokumentarfilme oder Animationen mit Bezug zur Welt des Sports.
Experimentelle Filme und neue Erzählungen: Innovative audiovisuelle Stücke, die Sport aus einzigartigen Perspektiven untersuchen.
Ernährung im Sport: Filme über Ernährung im Sport und Gesundheit.
Vielfalt im Sport: LGBT+-Geschichten im Sport.
Regeln für die Einreichung
Filme müssen einen Bezug zu Sport haben oder sich mit Sportthemen befassen, sei es in Fiktion-, Dokumentar-, Animations- oder experimentellen Formaten.
Wir akzeptieren Filme aller Genres aus allen Ländern.
Für Filme, die nicht in diesen Sprachen verfasst sind, sind englische oder spanische Untertitel erforderlich.
Die Einreichung garantiert nicht die Auswahl für das Festival.

Das Oaxaca Sports Film Festival 2026 findet in einer der schönsten und kulturell reichsten Städte Mexikos statt. Oaxaca ist bekannt für seine lebendige Kunstszene, seine koloniale Architektur und seine weltberühmte Küche und bietet die perfekte Kulisse für ein Festival, das die Leidenschaften von Film und Sport vereint. Die Teilnehmer werden nicht nur unglaubliche Vorführungen genießen, sondern auch in das reiche kulturelle Erbe der Region eintauchen.
XVI. Piélagos Kurzfilmfestival „Piélagos en Corto“
Der Stadtrat von Piélagos präsentiert die 16. Ausgabe seines Filmfestivals, ein Schaufenster für lokale und internationale Talente.
Mit Wettbewerbskategorien für Kantabrien, Spanien, International und den UNESCO-Geopark Costa Quebrada feiert die Veranstaltung die besten Kurzfilme (Fiktion, bis zu 30 Minuten).
Ausgewählte Filme werden um Preise konkurrieren, darunter den besten kantabrischen, nationalen und internationalen Kurzfilm sowie um technische Auszeichnungen und den renommierten Geopark-Preis, mit dem Werke ausgezeichnet werden, die mit diesem Naturerbe in Verbindung stehen.
Einreichungen sind bis zum 20. Dezember 2025 über Festhome möglich.
Die Abschlussgala 2026 wird Vorführungen, professionelle Treffen und Unterkünfte für die Nominierten beinhalten.
Eine unverzichtbare Veranstaltung für das aufstrebende Kino, bei der Landschaft und Geschichtenerzählen zusammenkommen!
OBJECTIVES: This non-competitive event aims to be a meeting place for independent film production and the public, we encourage the creation and production of audiovisual filmmakers from all over the world and provide a space to allow diffusion of contemporary and cultural film productions.
THEME: Works will be accepted whose aesthetic and thematic proposal refer to the cultural identity of the places of origin of the filmmakers, providing entertainment and cultural knowledge for the audience.
