FICFUSA is a film festival and community-based cultural process with thirteen (13) years of experience. Through its Women and Territory approach, the festival understands cinema as a space for gathering, creation, reflection, and social transformation.
Based in Fusagasugá, in the Sumapaz region of Colombia, FICFUSA works to promote cultural decentralization, access to cinema as a cultural right, and the strengthening of social bonds through audiovisual storytelling.
For its 2026 edition, FICFUSA invites filmmakers to submit their works to the following festival categories:

Milton Keynes International Film Festival(MKIFF) is the first international film festival and the only of its kind in the city Milton Keynes, United Kingdom . This extraordinary cultural event created in 2021 is one of the most important cinematic event in Milton Keynes.

The Menorca Doc Fest is a film and photography festival that aims to raise public awareness through the documentary genre, understanding it as a tool to promote critical thinking about the phenomena of the past and present that affect contemporary society.
Cartagena Negra is the crime fiction festival held in the city of Cartagena. It is an event centred around literature and the crime fiction genre.
During the festival, there are round tables, lectures, presentations of new literary works, reading clubs, and other events related to the noir theme, such as monologue competitions, open mic sessions, talks, and meetings.
This year marks the 10th edition of the Cartagena Negra Short Film Competition, which has become a fundamental part of the official programme. At Cartagena Negra, we are passionate about cinema, which is why we want to bring together the literary and cinematographic genres in the same event.
Therefore, in the spirit of strengthening this relationship with the world of cinema, this edition will feature screenings of noir films, including the participation of filmmakers who specialise in this type of story.
The Cartagena Negra Short Film Award has a clear mission to promote short films within the current film scene, contributing to their recognition. Short films are also cinema.
APÁGAME ESE COUNTRY FANTASTIC FILM FESTIVAL is a cultural project in rural Asturias that aims to highlight Spanish audiovisual production in short format. Fiction or animation short films will be accepted, with fantasy themes, horror, sci-fi and sub genres... this is our second edition and we would like to have a lot of participation to make it difficult for our programming team who comes eager to work. The IV FANTLLANES, to be held from April 16th to 18th, 2026, in Llanes, aims to promote and recognize creativity and talent within the fantasy film industry, providing a distribution platform for filmmakers in this genre.

Eligibility Requirements
National and international short and feature films belonging to the fantasy genre in any of its variants (science fiction, horror, thriller, etc.) are eligible to participate.
General Conditions
Each participant may submit up to two works.
Works must have been produced within the last two years.
Short films previously submitted to past editions of FANTLLANES will not be accepted.
Format and Submission
Short films must be submitted in digital format.
Submissions shall be sent via a download link or through online platforms.
Selection and Jury
A selection committee will evaluate the entries and choose those that will move on to the competition phase.
The festival jury will consist of professionals from the film and culture industries.
Awards will be granted in various categories, to be announced soon.
Exhibition Rights
Participants grant the organization the exhibition rights for the selected works exclusively for their screening during the festival.

In addition to the first prize, the Violetta d'Oro, will be assigned the “Violetta d'Argento” to the best movie, and Honorable Mentions to best director, best photography best actor, best script and best short film.
The purpose of this initiative is not only pointing out to the audience recent and important features, but also underlining the value of a musical score as an essential element for the poetry and the success of a movie itself.
Besides, the contest will be a chance for film makers and producers to show their own works to a various audience and to a high-qualified international jury.
In addition of the section about feature films, it has been included also a section concerning short films, that will participate in the contest for a dedicated award.
The attendance is open to feature films and videos of any nationality, subject and length (musical productions but also dramatic films, comics, historical or Tv productions, etc).

Award Ceremony will take place at Casa della Musica in Parma on September 26th 2026 at 5.00pm with Dinner Gala, at which all producers or directors who have their film in nomination will be invited.
