History: The festival was inaugurated on March 23, 2006 by the Cypriot Minister of Education and Culture Mr Pefkios Georgiades and was held in three cities, Larnaca, Limassol and Nicosia with the cooperation of K-Cineplex.
The Cyprus International Film Festival is the biggest of artistic high value independent cinema event of the whole region, spilling over Cyprus boundaries and spreading over the whole region with repercussions reaching worldwide. CYIFF is the first internationally oriented film festival which offers new and upcoming directors in multiple sectors of entertainment (such as feature films, short films, animations, music videos, dance, experimental films and video art) the opportunity to showcase their talent in front of a jury of internationally acclaimed cinema experts, directors and actors. CYIFF has a competitive section.
Films produced the last 36 months, by emerging directors are selected for the screening program.
-Women filmmakers (director and/or producer) can submit their film to compete for the Aphrodite Cinematic Award. There is no restriction regarding the production year, the genre of the film in this specific category.

Das Benin City Film Festival wurde im November 2018 ins Leben gerufen, als eine neue Einheit, die eine Plattform bietet, die die Werke lokaler (Community basiert) sowie nationaler und internationaler aufstrebender Filmemacher fördert und fördert. Screening in the heart of London UKFF welcomes films of all types from all over the World - connecting up-and-coming filmmakers with more established names such as Judi Dench, Dustin Hoffman, James Corden, Bill Nighy, Timothy Spall, Steven Berkoff and most recently Willem Dafoe.
Category awards are given for Best Feature Film; Best Feature Documentary; Best Short Documentary; Best Animation; Best Music Video; Best British Short; Best International Short; Best Student Film; as well as special awards for excellence.

11. EUREKA UNIVERSITY FILM FESTIVAL 2026
Das Eureka University Film Festival ist eine Filmveranstaltung, die hauptsächlich von Studenten der Universidad de Bogotá Jorge Tadeo Lozano in Zusammenarbeit mit Studenten verschiedener Universitäten des Landes und anderen Fachleuten organisiert wird.
Nach 10 Jahren haben wir beschlossen, EUREKA eine neue Richtung zu geben und es für diese elfte Ausgabe neu zu erfinden. Wir wollen unseren Horizont in Bezug auf das Filmemachen erweitern, sowohl in seinen Formen als auch in seinen kreativen Absichten. In dieser Ausgabe suchen wir nach einem ehrlichen Kino, das mit einem emotionalen und/oder spirituellen Bedürfnis der menschlichen Erfahrung in Verbindung steht.
Ohne uns ausschließlich auf das Universitätskino zu beschränken, interessieren uns Werke mit der klaren Absicht, ihre eigenen Geschichten zu erzählen.
Wir suchen Kurzfilme, die die Frage beantworten:
„Wie bewohnen wir das Unbekannte?“
Wir fühlen uns zu Filmen hingezogen, die dieser Frage auf kreative, experimentelle und erzählerische Weise mit Glauben, Angst und Träumen nachgehen, mit der Absicht, bei jeder Vorführung eine eigene Atmosphäre zu schaffen.
Das LECCE FILM FEST fördert die Kinokultur in Italien durch die besten unabhängigen Filme der Welt.
Thema, Genre und Dauer sind für uns nicht wichtig, wir suchen stattdessen nach Talenten in einem hochwertigen Kino.

Es ist erstaunlich, was mit einer Videokamera, einigen willigen Freunden und einem guten Rezept für gefälschtes Blut passieren kann.
Das Heavy Hitting HorrorFest wurde 2002 als eine One-Night-Orgie aus schrecklichen, urkomischen und sehr unabhängigen Kurzfilmen, die einer kleinen Gruppe von Filmemachern und Freunden in Whistler, BC, vorgeführt wurde.
Achtzehn Jahre später hat sich das HorrorFest zum längsten laufenden Horrorfilmfestival in Westkanadas entwickelt, das Filmtalente aus der ganzen Welt anzieht und eine furchtlose lokale Filmszene fördert. Es ist zu einem legitimen Startpad für junge Filmtalente gereift, mit zahlreichen „HorrorFesters“ gehen auf Karriere in der Unterhaltungsbranche.
Mit der Intensität eines Rockkonzerts zeigt diese blutgespritzte Sammlung von Kurzfilmen den Geist des Kinos durch DIY Austrittswunden, unbeabsichtigt komödierte Show-Szenen und viele legitime Momente wirklicher Angst. Filmemacher kämpfen um Ruhm, Geld und die begehrte Silberschädel-Trophie — ein handgefertigtes Meisterwerk, das von Jahr zu Jahr wie der Stanley Cup of Horror weitergegeben wurde.
Seit seiner Gründung ist das HorrorFest ein Startplatz für junge Filmemacher und zieht weiterhin Branchenprofis an, mit dem Schwerpunkt, Filme für die reine und einfache Freude daran zu machen. Bei Heavy Hitting HorrorFest könnte dein Kunstfilm geknallt werden und dein schlechter Geschmack wird gejubelt, aber so oder so wirst du die Nacht deines Lebens haben.
CONSTRUIR CINE: AUSGABE 2026 DES INTERNATIONALEN ARBEITSFILMFESTIVALS - OFFIZIELLE WETTBEWERBSBEDINGUNGEN

Highlights of the 15th Edition (2026)
The 15th edition was a grand 5-day gala held from May 4 to May 8, 2026, at the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA), Ministry of Culture.
• Scale: 178 films from over 51 countries.
• Focus: Arab Cinema, Northeastern India, Women’s Empowerment, and Children’s Social Issues.

General Rules & Regulations for Filmmakers
1. Eligibility: Films must have been completed after a specific date (usually the last 24 months).
2. Subtitles: All non-English films must have English subtitles.
3. Exemption: As an MIB-exempted festival, we prioritize artistic integrity, but films must comply with international screening standards.
4. Format: Initial submissions should be through secure online screeners (Vimeo/YouTube with password or digital upload).
5. Selection: The decision of the DIFF Selection Committee and Jury will be final and binding.

Rules & Terms
ENTRY FEE FOR SUBMISSIONS OF FILMS:
(1) Entry fees for FEATURE FILMS (Duration: 50 mins to 105 mins max) : 5000/- INR or (63.23 USD)
(2) Entry fees for SHORT FILMS (Duration: 00.10 mins to 00.50 mins): 3,000/- INR or (36.27 USD)
(3) ANIMATION FILMS in all categories (Duration: 00.05 mins to 00.30 mins max).
(4) Entry fees for STUDENT FILMS: 1500/-INR or (21USD)
(LATE ENTRY FEES WILL BE DOUBLE THE ENTRY FEES MENTIONED ABOVE APPLICABLE TO FILMS SUBMITTED BEYOND THE DEADLINE ANNOUNCED)
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:
1.Films without English Subtitles (except English Films), shall not be considered for selection.
2.Films submitted with watermarks or logos shall be rejected.
3.Only Trailers or promos cannot be submitted for selection process.
4.Film Download link with password is preferred, DVD or Bluray are also accepted as hard copies.
5.If submitting hard copies, Two full HD DVDs/Bluray should be sent by courier to the Festival office along with a hard copy of this entry form duly filled. DVDs must be labeled with film title, director name, duration, phone number and email id on them. Director pic, Poster, Film Stills may be attached in an email.
6. For submissions coming from outside India, the packages must be marked, “For Festival & Cultural Purpose only, No Commercial value”.
7. DIFF does not pay screening fees to film makers.
8. DIFF will not return the Films submitted online or vide DVDs/Pen Drives/ Blu-ray etc. during or after the festival.
TERMS & CONDITIONS:
1. DIFF reserves the right to showcase the film so submitted perpetually anywhere ( other festivals, television, online etc).
2. DIFF reserves the right to include the film and related material in its promotional activities.
3. All Decisions made by the Appointed “Selection Committee” regarding Selections, screenings, awards at the Festival in entirety will be final. In case of Dispute, decision of the President is final.
4. The film makers and their representatives undertake to use the official logo and the status of their Selection or Award strictly in conformation with DIFF 2022 designs and they further undertake to use such festival logo in all their promotions, posters and marketing publications with the consent of the festival.
5. A film selected for the festival does not run in competition automatically. A Jury will select the films which feature in Competition.
6. The Festival shall not bear / reimburse any freight or other charges in foreign or Indian currency.
7. Once selected for screening, the film shall not be withdrawn.
8. The last date of submissions of ENTRIES IS 10.12.2024 and Date of Intimation of Selection will be 15.12.2024
Das Internationale Filmfestival „Prvi kadar“ /First Frame ist eine wichtige Filmveranstaltung in Bosnien und Herzegowina, deren Mission es ist, die Filmkunst von Autoren aus der ganzen Welt zu fördern. Das Festival hat auch keinen Wettbewerbscharakter. Filme konkurrieren in zwei Kategorien: Dokumentar- und Kurzfilme.
Fünfzehn Ausgaben des Festivals und eine große Anzahl von Autoren, die sich für das Festival interessieren, belegen, dass das Festival unter Künstlern auf der ganzen Welt als wichtiges und prestigeträchtiges Filmereignis anerkannt ist.
Die Auswahl des Festivals bestätigt die Kontinuität, vor allem den künstlerischen Ansatz, auf dem die gesamte Idee des ersten Rahmens aufbaut. Bei der Betrachtung der Beziehung zwischen Themen und Ideen wird der Schwerpunkt auf die Haltung des Autors oder eine künstlerische Idee gelegt.
Ein reichhaltiges, nicht wettbewerbsorientiertes und wettbewerbsorientiertes Programm von hoher künstlerischer Qualität, Bildungsprogramme, Vorträge, DokMasterClass, Film Campus of Art, Dokumentarfilme, Ausstellungen, Förderung von Buch der Filmkunst, zahlreiche Gäste aus der Welt des Films belegen, dass das Festival von Jahr zu Jahr expandiert und das Programm inhaltlich bereichert. Das diesjährige Festival findet vom 20. bis 24. November 2023 in Ost-Sarajevo und Zvornik, Republik Srpska, Bosnien und Herzegowina statt.

Das Seoul International ALT Cinema & Media Arts Festival (NeMaF) ist das jährliche Festival, das mediengestützte Kunst mit innovativem Geist in ihren Themen und Formen zeigt.
Zu den Arbeiten, die wir zeigen, gehören Einkanal-Videokunst, Medienkunst, Dokumentarfilme, Found-Footage-Filme, Essayfilme, Experimentalfilme und so weiter. Es findet in mehreren Kinos in Seoul statt.
Es wurde gegründet und hat seit seiner Gründung im Jahr 2000 mehr als 2.000 mediengestützte Werke gezeigt und 1.000 Künstler entdeckt.
NemAF nimmt ab sofort Einreichungen entgegen und sucht nach innovativen Filmen und Medienkunstwerken.
