We started the PAMA 16 years ago to mix the American-style entertainment and ambition with the high-quality expectations that French cinema is known for.
Our judges (from Monica Cruz to Mark Dacascos), attending A-list stars (Sharon Stone, Hugo Becker, Melanie Doutey, Samuel Arnold), rising filmmakers and guest speakers (James Morrison, William Baldwin) all joined in for a tradition of mixing talents, whatever your position or recognized accomplishments in our industry.

The 9th edition of the PIFF Festival will take place in the city of Paraná, from September 2nd to September 4th, 2026.

PIFF, the Paraná International Independent Film Festival, is jointly owned by Grupo Transmedia Argentina and CICVE (Center for Research in Experimental Film and Video Art), both belonging to the Asociación Civil “Biblioteca Pedro Lemebel”. The Paraná Festival is organized by its director, Esteban Amatti.
The Paraná Film Festival is recognized by the International Center for Experimental Film and Video Art (CIFE) in the "competitive film festivals" category.
The Paraná Film Festival aims to make a positive contribution to the development of culture and the film industry.
All films presented at the 9th edition of PIFF will be selected by its selection committee, headed by the Festival Director and advised by a network of international delegates comprised of film professionals and specialists in the world of cinema and film festivals. This committee will be called the "International Film Classification Committee."
All films selected for the 9th edition will receive a certificate of participation from the Paraná Film Festival Director.
About the Festival
The Africa World Documentary Film Festival (AWDFF) is sponsored by the School of Theatre, Television, and Film at San Diego State University, San Diego, California. USA.
The AWDFF has as its objective the promotion of knowledge and culture of the people of Africa, in a Pan-African context.
In promotion of the Pan African context, public viewings of submission accepted by AWDFF shall also occur in Africa, Europe and the Caribbean.
Though the AWDFF is non-competitive, prizes of $1,000 and $500 shall be awarded to two documentaries in Full-length and Short categories, respectively judged by the AWDFF committee as furthering understanding and contributing significantly to knowledge of the African World.
GRACE! International Film Festival & Cinema Awards is an annual international event focusing on independent filmmakers.

The quality standard of GRACE IFF is very high, so finalists of this competition can be really proud of their achievement.
All the finalists will go to the annual competition ending with the live screening event in Berlin we organize each season.
Some of the winner films will also be screened at other international film festivals.

Paleochora Lost World Short Film Festival launched its 1st edition in June 2019 to a spectacular success. The Festival enjoyed packed audiences at all screenings and played host to 22 visiting Filmmakers & Industry guests from as far afield as Brazil, Spain, USA, France, Ireland, UK, Germany, Greece & Iran. The 'Lost World' of Paleochora nestles between the Mountains and Sea in South West Crete and is the perfect location for Filmmakers to convene to show their work, network with colleagues and enjoy our fabulous Cretan hospitality. We may be at the most southern point of Europe, but there are Big Film things happening here and on the entire Island of Crete. Our main aim is always to select films which focus on great storytelling, whether fiction, documentary or any other accepted genre. We look forward to your Film Submission.
