The Pembroke Taparellli Arts and Film Festival was founded as a means to provide independent artists committed to social justice with a place through which to share their work with our global community. The festival seeks to give a platform to artists who seek to use their voice in film, theatre, spoken word, painting, sculptor, and photography to bring to light such issues as, poverty, gender inequality, homelessness, hunger, physical and psychological abuse, racism, sex trafficking, war and grief.
The festival will be an intersection between art and social justice giving independent artists a place to create, thrive and bring to market work they are passionate about without fear it will never be seen. Artists are allowed to take risk, tell their stories as they work to change the world.
The PTAFF is dedicated to the discovery and presentation of emerging artists, giving them an opportunity to let their voices be heard around the world. Injustice in many forms is a reality affecting our global community, as artists we have a responsibility to stand up against injustice. Many artists take action to turn these injustices around through their work. We seek to support and aide these artist as they help to transform, save and change the lives of those who suffer, creating a sense of hope to fuel our struggle.

The Pembroke Taparelli Arts Festival (PTAFF) is a celebration of Domestic and International Artists (Filmmakers, Performers, visual artists) who are committed to fostering global change through the Arts. We celebrate those fearless artists who are willing to share the good, the bad, and the ugly of our times holding themselves accountable for the change they desire to see.
The PTAFF will inspire conversation and promote a better understanding of the power the arts wield in combatting the injustices that have become a part of our daily lives.

Instructions for film submission
Each year, we select 10 Feature Films, 30 Short Films to play in each of our Festival programs. However, you may not submit your film directly to any one specific program.
The film’s subject matter, the production itself or the film’s director should have a strong connection to ecological topic, environmental, environmentally friendly technologies, urbanistics, road movie, nature and minority people, protection of nature.

El Festival Internacional de Cine Fantástico y de Terror de Tàrrega - Galacticat, que se celebra todos los años desde 2014, es el primer y único festival de cine fantástico y de terror en tierras leridanas, dirigido a todos los cinéfilos en general y a los amantes de la ciencia ficción y el terror en particular y con una clara vocación divulgativa. El Galacticat nació como una iniciativa para recuperar los clásicos universales de la ciencia ficción para el gran público y para adentrarse en esta cultura que ha articulado el universo del cine desde sus inicios. El Festival de Cine de Zaragoza, nace en 1995 para crear una actividad cinematográfica en la ciudad. En principio su denominación principal fue la de Jóvenes Realizadores. A partir del año 2007 su nombre oficial pasó a ser el de Festival Cine Zaragoza.

El reglamento para participar de la II Edición del BA Sport Film Festival, Patrocinado por el Comité Olímpico Argentino, la Federación de Deporte por la Paz, Boca Social y producido por Libélula Tv Films, describen los requisitos para la participación del festival a desarrollarse del 27de Septiembre al 01 de Octubre de 2017 en la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires.
Para participar en la sesiones de competencia o exhibición se debe acompañar copia firmada y el formulario de incripción al cual podrá accederse desde aqui o desde el ícono Formulario/ Entry Form.
Fundado en 1973, Curtas Festival do Imaxinario es el festival más antiguo y el mayor evento dedicado al cine fantástico, de ciencia ficción y de terror en Galicia. El Festival Internacional de Cine de León FICL, invita a participar a todos los cineastas en la Convocatoria Oficial FICL 2025 a partir del 1 de abril al 5 de agosto del presente año pudiendo postularse con largometraje, cortometraje y documental corto de ficción, no ficción o animación para formar parte de la Undécima Edición consecutiva a realizarse entre el 5 de noviembre al 9 de Noviembre del presente año. La Categoría Nuevo León no se abre como una categoría aparte, pero la inscripción es indirecta a través de las categorías mexicanas —ver más en el Reglamento en nuestro sitio web.
Las fechas de inscripción van a partir de la publicación de la presente convocatoria, hasta el cierre de la misma, el día 7 de julio del 2024, a las 11:59 p.m. (GMT-6) sin ninguna posibilidad de prórroga. Se recibirán trabajos de largometraje (a partir de los 60 minutos en adelante) y cortometraje (entre 1 y menos de 30 minutos de duración) a través de la plataforma de Festhome exclusivamente.
A los participantes seleccionados se les comunicará vía correo electrónico durante la primera o segunda semana de agosto y se les hará saber la continuidad del proceso. La selección del Comité es inapelable. Al inscribirse, todos los participantes que sean seleccionados se comprometen a mandar todos los materiales requeridos en tiempo y forma, tal como se detalla en el Reglamento y como se les pedirá desde su notificación hasta la clausura del ficmonterrey. La inscripción de cualquier material a la presente convocatoria confirma la aceptación de la misma y de las reglas adjuntas. Por esto mismo, antes de iniciar el proceso, les pedimos LEER CON DETALLE el Reglamento de Inscripción.

With twenty-two years of existence, (the first edition was in 1997) AVANCA Film Festival was awarded first place in 2011 contest of the support film festivals sponsored by ICA / Ministry of Culture.
An additional thematic programming has happened over all these years, giving space to screening of significant works of contemporary cinema appropriately framed in concerns and / or well-defined objectives.
The AVANCA is known as a space for workshops led by personalities of world cinema, and being more than a "master class", has allowed a unique cinema practice. Every year we have always 6 or 7 workshops, bringing together participants from all over Europe. The media have written that this is the largest European area of professional workshops in the field of cinema.
AVANCA is the only festival that congregates a Cinema International Competition, works from the television area, video and new supports of multimedia, with a special concern of exhibit the best world productions done in each category.
Since the first edition, the festival only accepts unprecedented films in Portugal.
The World Premiere competition is unique in our country and was only possible because Avanca became a passage point of unpublished authors and movies with great quality. Films that have their world premiere in the festival, independently of the submitted category, are also participating in the World Premiere Competition.
AVANCA is the Portuguese festival with the highest percentage of worldwide unpublished movies that find here their first showing.
In 2020 Edition, Avanca will bring for the first time the VR Competition, where films in virtual reality 360°, narrative or experimental (but with no interactivity) are allowed.
Since 2010, we have organized the international film conference AVANCA | CINEMA, becoming the most important conference in the field of cinema in the Iberian Peninsula. This conference brings together speakers and participants from around the world.
Thematic exhibitions, editions of books, bibliographic presentations and various projects have marked these last 10 years of AVANCA with the quality that compels the festival and the participants obviously require.
