Das Weihnachtsfilmfestival Berlin nimmt sich dem Thema ‚Weihnacht‘ in all seinen wunder- und sonderbaren Facetten gänzlich an. In nationalen sowie internationalen Langspielfilmen und Kurzfilmblöcken wird das weihnachtliche Sujet von allen Seiten neu beleuchtet. Unkonventionelle Weihnachtsfilme stehen dabei klar im Vordergrund. So reihen sich neben weihnachtlichen Komödien auch kritische, tragische, satirische sowie schaurige Beiträge in das Programm ein. Auch wenn das ‚Fest der Liebe‘ polarisiert, lohnt es sich auf den ‚Geist der Weihnacht‘ einzulassen. In der dunklen Jahreszeit wird das Kino zum magischen Ort, der zum Nachdenken anregt, berührt und manchmal auch ein Lächeln ins Gesicht zaubert.
Das Weihnachtsfilmfestival richtet sich an all jene, die dem Weihnachtsstress entfliehen wollen, die ihre Liebsten nicht in der Nähe haben und natürlich leidenschaftliche Cineasten. Lasst uns gemeinsam schöne, besinnliche, unterhaltsame Tage im Kino verbringen und einen frischen Blick auf die sonst wohl eher traditionelle Weihnacht werfen.
Das Internationale Filmfestival von Leon IFFOL lädt alle Filmemacher ein, vom 1. April bis 05. August dieses Jahres am offiziellen IFFOL-Aufruf 2024 teilzunehmen. Sie können sich mit Spiel-, Sachbuch- oder Animationsfilm-, Kurzfilm- oder Kurzdokumentarfilmen für die 9. Ausgabe in Folge bewerben, die vom 30. Oktober bis 03. November dieses Jahres stattfindet. Le due ideatrici e gli altri giovani orvietani lavoratori che hanno collaborato al progetto hanno deciso di riportare nella loro città le esperienze maturate nelle varie città di adozione (Mailand, Roma, Bologna, Florenz).

The Trailer Film Festival is a unique event. Only trailers are screened and the audience is exclusively film industry.
The goal is for the industry to request the film or script attached to the trailer.
100 producers, distributors and studio execs, including Fox, Paramount and Disney, attended our last festival. 45 filmmakers received requests for their films or scripts. Some had multiple requests which brought the total to 95.
Netflix, Amazon, Sony and Paramount have already agreed to join us on May 21st, 2020. New attendees will be announced monthly.
Trailers for both completed projects and scripts are eligible. They can be for films, scripted and unscripted TV shows, books, web series or games.
Five judges will review the trailers. The 60 with the highest score will be selected. They'll be available to the industry online for a month after the festival. 25 of those trailers will be featured in the actual event which will be held in a Beverly Hills screening room.

2018 wurde das Almagro International Film Festival -AIFF mit dem Ziel gegründet, eine nützliche Plattform für die Förderung der audiovisuellen Industrie zu schaffen: einen Raum und eine Zeit für die Verbreitung und Förderung audiovisueller Inhalte, die Stadt Almagro in einen Treffpunkt für Filmemacher zu verwandeln, den Austausch von Initiativen zu fördern und einen Markt zu fördern, der für die Entwicklung neuer Projekte offen ist.

Das jährlich von der tunesischen Vereinigung für Dokumentarfilme organisierte DocuMed — Mediterranean Documentary Cinema Festival in Tunesien bietet Vorführungen kreativer Dokumentarfilme aus Ländern rund um den Mittelmeerraum. Es zielt darauf ab, den Einfluss und die Verbreitung von Dokumentarfilmen in Tunesien zu fördern und den Austausch zwischen Fachleuten, Künstlern und der Öffentlichkeit im Geiste der Offenheit gegenüber anthropologischer, kultureller und sozialer Vielfalt zu fördern.

- Vertritt humanistische Werte, die auf der Offenheit gegenüber anderen Kulturen, der Freiheit der Schöpfung und des Teilens beruhen.
- Zeigt seine Zugehörigkeit zur Welt und seine Offenheit gegenüber dem geographischen und kulturellen Kontext des Maghreb, des Arabischen und des Mittelmeers.

A Femme International Film Festival is a premier festival that focuses on platforming women filmmakers “by women, for everyone”. Our Festival was created in 2005, when it became apparent that there was a need to enhance women behind the camera as Directors, Producers, and Writers. We were the first in Los Angeles to host such an event and film festival empowering women. All those that followed are just duplicates of the movement we started over a decade ago.
Through our Partners and Sponsors we have provided one-one-one meetings with our filmmakers or helped secure financing. CBS Entertainment Diversity Department and Sony Entertainment met with a selected group of our filmmakers with the goal to offer potential employment and/or placement as a director or writer under their diversity department. It is through our direct efforts that these opportunities are being secured for our LA Femme Int. Film Festival Filmmakers.
As LA Femme moves into the next few years, it plans to expand its platform so that more women in the industry and from around the world can have the benefit of taking their film to the next level through increased distribution outlets, more key positions in the entertainment industry and more recognition as artistic creators emerging as leaders in the industry.
Our goal is to create more such opportunities through exemplary programming, networking, and panel events. A classic professional atmosphere will create a sense of ‘opportunity’ for participants. LA Femme International Film Festival is “By Women for Everyone.”
