It is a Festival with two sections to contest. Official Section and Section of Asturian Short Films. Three prizes will be awarded (best short official section, best performance and best short Asturian). All the information is in the bases. Any author of any nationality can participate.

The Short Film Slam is a bimonthly competition presented by The Madlab Post that focuses on providing a platform for emerging and established filmmakers to showcase their work. Each round, a selection of up to twelve short films will be screened for local audiences who get to cast a vote for their favorite film. The highest rated film at live screenings will be declared "Movie of the Month" during the following month. The highest rated "in-competition" films from each live and online screening room will advance to the final round. All finalists get to compete for a total of $1,000 in prize money during the final round and festivities preceding the 2023 shnit Cinemas screening in Philadelphia.
Since 2012, The Madlab Post has promoted community outreach and engagement through film, screening dozens of exceptional short films from around the world to local audiences; including the Academy Award nominated short film A SINGLE LIFE, Clermond-Ferrand International Film Festival Special Jury Prize winner THE BATHTUB and Sundance Grand Jury Prize nominee Et ta prostate, ça va? (HOW'S YOUR PROSTATE). Main venues include the historic Bok building and Taller Puertorriqueño's state-of-the-art El Corazón Cultural Center.

CinemaLab is an opportunity for the maturation of feature film projects and low-budget series, in the script, construction (work in progress) or finalized in search of promotion and distribution, so that, strengthened by the collaboration and advice of experts, they can advance and consolidate.
In Zapatoca "The Happiest Town in the World", 20 selected projects will be incubated, within a national and international call, providing the right environment for filmmakers to focus their energies and move forward, through new and creative paths.
The laboratory will focus on the most neuralgic areas of realization, an immersion through individual, group and master classes, with renowned filmmakers.
The PITTSBURGH HORROR FILM FESTIVAL will provide a forum where film makers can display their work.
We will focus on horror films of all lengths, with no limit on when the film was made, and if it has been shown elsewhere. Your submission to the festival will be eligible for various awards and acknowledgements.
The 5th edition of the PITTSBURGH HORROR FILM FESTIVAL will be held from October 28 through October 30 2022, The event will be held at the beautiful Double Tree Hotel in Greentree Pennsylvania

International Students Creative Award aims to discover and highlight young creative talent in the field of video production and digital content. ‘Mal del Cap, Naratives Mal Dites" is the name of the International Festival of Short Films and New Narratives that Mal del Cap, Cultura Mal Dita of Eivissa has been running since 2014.

All best films that were selected for the screening, will be shown on the big screen during the solemn final ceremony on September 16 - 21, 2025 in Moscow, Russia and will be able to struggle for the main prize and the title of the "Best film". The FIFP opens its registrations for its new official selection in competition devoted to short fiction and documentary films.

In any category the Festival may invite some short films, or feature films directly.
