SFG (Serile Filmului Gay / Gay Film Nights), the only LGBTQ International Film Festival in Romania, reaches its 14th edition. The event will take place in Cluj-Napoca, between the 8th and 17th of May 2020. The entry to all the screenings is free for the public.
Every year, the festival invests a lot of effort into bringing together international cinematographic productions with an LGBT+ theme, while also creating the opportunity for some other related events to take place under the scope of the festival. Among those cultural events, we mention video production workshops, photography and painting exhibitions, environmental actions, flash mobs, “Living Library”-type of workshops, “Show & Tell” exhibitions, social events intended to attract strong media exposure, as well as debates, lectures, and dialogues about the situation of LGBTQ people in Romania, and last but not least, events focused on health related aspects, such as the HIV infection rate among the LGBT+ community in the country.
While most initiatives in Romania that focused their attention on LGBTQ+ issues during the past few years have shifted their approach towards a more hands-on type of involvement, seeking to reduce the levels of social stigma and discrimination by accentuating the necessity of supporting LGBT+ rights, The SFG International Film Festival follows a different approach. Starting from the premise that mainstream media is flooded by rather incorrect and misleading messages, contaminated by obvious prejudice and stereotypes, this festival is meant to act as an outlet of communication by means of culture and openness towards society. This ambitious aim can be achieved by exposure to appropriate media content and by sending out correct messages through each of the events that make up the “spinal cord” of the official festival program.
Over the course of the past decade, The SFG International Film Festival has been constantly growing. From humble beginnings with only a few films projected in a couple of consecutive evenings to a mature festival, lasting an entire week, with several film screenings taking place simultaneously in different locations and a diverse array of related events.
We are proud to announce that with each edition, we are able to deliver a selection of over 50 selected films, pertaining to three categories: short films, feature films and documentaries. Each of these films places an emphasis on various aspects of the lives of LGBT people. It has often been the case that the directors or producers of the films are present at the screenings as special guests, engaging in an interesting conversation with the public, sometimes starting from the intention of finding similarities between both the positive and the negative aspects of LGBT life in the film’s country of origin and in Romania.

Green Planet Barcelona ist ein internationales Filmfestival über Umwelt, das die Genres von Fiktion, Animation und Dokumentarfilm umfasst. Die Auswahl der Kurzfilme für die offizielle Sektion und die nicht wettbewerbsfähige Sektion basiert auf künstlerischen, technischen und schriftlichen Kriterien. Die offizielle Auswahl wird von den Studierenden des Instituts Vacarisses getroffen. Während der 4. Ausgabe des Festivals organisiert das Institut Vacarisses ein paralleles Festival, das „European Green Planet Film Festival“ mit anderen Sekundarschulen in Italien, Portugal und Polen, als Ergebnis eines Erasmus+ Stipendiums am Institut. Die Auswahl der Kurzfilme für das „European Green Planet Film Festival“ wird von den Studierenden der 4 Institute getroffen, die am Projekt Erasmus + teilnehmen. Die Filme an die Ausgaben 3 und 4 des Green Planet Barcelona gesendet, werden auch in der Lage sein, an der European Green Planet Film Festival teilnehmen.

ALLGEMEINE BEDINGUNGEN
Sie können jeden Kurzfilm einreichen, der nach Januar 2016 veröffentlicht wurde.
Sie können jeden nationalen oder internationalen Kurzfilm (Fiktion, Animationsfilm oder Dokumentarfilm) einreichen, der sich auf Umwelt konzentriert.
Jeder Teilnehmer kann mehr als einen Kurzfilm einreichen.
Filme können in jeder Sprache eingereicht werden. Alle Einreichungen müssen englische Untertitel enthalten.
Die Länge des Kurzfilms darf nicht überschreiten:
10 Minuten für Spiel- und Animationsfilme.
12 Minuten für Dokumentationen.
Alle Beiträge müssen innerhalb des 8. Oktober 2019 und 15. Februar 2020 eingereicht werden, beide enthalten.
Das erste Filmfestival von North Karnataka wird von „Manomay Productions LLP“ für unsere Leute präsentiert. Das Hauptziel dieses Filmfestivals ist es, jungen und talentierten Filmemachern dabei zu helfen, ihre Geschichte der Welt zu präsentieren.
Bürger von Hyderabad Karnataka sind wirklich gut in Theater, Schreiben, Schauspiel, und auch in Richtung, um ihr Talent zu präsentieren, Kalaburagi Film Festival wird eine sehr wichtige Rolle spielen.
Das Festival zeigt narrative und dokumentarische Spiel- und Kurzfilme, Musikvideos sowie Experimental- und Animationsfilme in wettbewerbsorientierten und nicht wettbewerbsorientierten Bereichen. Diese Veranstaltung wird durch Repertoire und Sondervorführungen ergänzt. Das 22. Cine Las Americas International Film Festival (CLAIFF22) fand vom 1. bis 5. Mai 2019 in Austin, Texas, statt. CLAIFF22 begrüßte nicht nur über 3.000 Zuschauer für Filme und Sonderveranstaltungen, sondern zeigte auch 114 Titel. Diese Auswahl repräsentierte die Teilnahme von 25 Ländern an der Produktion oder Koproduktion der Projekte, darunter Argentinien, Australien, Bolivien, Brasilien, Kanada, Chile, Kolumbien, Costa Rica, Kuba, Dominikanische Republik, Ecuador, Frankreich, Deutschland, Jordanien, Mexiko, Niederlande, Peru, Portugal, Katar, Spanien, Arabische Republik Syrien, Großbritannien, Uruguay, USA und Venezuela.
In den letzten 22 Jahren hat Cine Las Americas mehr als 2.600 Filme in Austin und bei verschiedenen Vorführungen im Bundesstaat Texas gezeigt und ist damit zu einer der renommiertesten lateinamerikanischen Filmorganisationen des Landes geworden. Cine Las Americas bleibt eine gemeindeorientierte Organisation, die vielfältige Möglichkeiten für Kultur, Bildung, berufliche Entwicklung und Unterhaltung bietet. Jedes Jahr bringt das Filmfestival eine Vielzahl internationaler Filme und Filmemacher nach Austin, bietet Netzwerkmöglichkeiten für Branchenfachleute und bietet den Teilnehmern ein reichhaltiges kulturelles Erlebnis.
Sie wissen es besser als jeder andere: Einen Film von weniger als 4 Minuten zu drehen, erfordert viel Talent und Kreativität. Deshalb ehrt das Très Court sie seit mehr als zwanzig Jahren mit seinem Internationalen Festival, das im Juni gleichzeitig an etwa fünfzig Orten auf den fünf Kontinenten stattfindet. Die Vorführungen finden ausschließlich auf der großen Leinwand, in Theatern oder im Freien für ein ebenso treues wie leidenschaftliches Publikum statt.
Die Très Courts sind in sechs Auswahlen aufgeteilt, von denen zwei im Wettbewerb stehen: Internationaler Wettbewerb, Wettbewerb für Wörter der Frauen, Französische Auswahl, Familienauswahl, Dokumentarfilmauswahl und Laugh-Auswahl (vor dem Ende der Welt).
Egal, ob Sie ein Anfänger oder ein Profi, ein Klassiker oder eine Avantgarde sind, solange Ihr Film nicht länger als 4 Minuten dauert, zögern Sie nicht, Ihr Glück zu versuchen, zumal die Registrierung Ihrer Filme kostenlos ist. Alle Genres werden akzeptiert: Fiktion, Dokumentarfilm, Animation, CGI, Drama, Komödie, Dokumentarfilm und sogar Gore- oder Horrorfilme.
Today it is difficult to find a person who does not take pictures. Photography has become available to everyone, and this has radically changed the way that photographs are represented. And this, in turn, changes its meaning. The thousands of static shots that we see every day nowadays convey the dynamics of our lives better than any other medium.
Our festival is dedicated to the rare genre of the photomontage, which is based on this aspect of the perception of photography and the variety of editing options, and our program shows vivid examples of film art created without expensive equipment and millions of budgets. And, as always happens with real art, these works are not forgotten immediately after the last credits, but remain with us for a long time.

Das Festival bevorzugt Filme, die sich auf die Suche nach nationaler und kultureller Identität in der zeitgenössischen Welt konzentrieren. Since its inception in 2006 ÉCU has forged a path for independent film and the scope of its presence has grown to a global scale with the festival often being referenced as the European equivalent of Sundance, an honour that we don’t take lightly.
Spring is not only a fabulous time for Paris but an exciting time for ÉCU because that is when we showcase roughly around 100 of the World’s very best independent films. Although ÉCU emphasises European talent, it also recognises the genius of international filmmakers with several categories allocated to non-European films.
The next ÉCU, the 19th edition, will take place on the 19th, 20th and 21st of April, 2024 in Paris, France.
ÉCU isn’t just all about screening an amazing slate of films over its three-day event in Paris in April. There are also professional workshops led by experts in the industry, Q&A’s held with the attending filmmakers after every screening session and a chance to network with fellow filmmakers, producers, agents, industry representatives, prospective film buyers and, of course, the cinema-loving public. At ÉCU, there is a continual dialogue celebrating and critiquing the world’s best indie cinema of today.
Though ÉCU’s main event IS the three-day festival in Paris each spring, there is even more! Thanks to our over 50 partner festivals, partner organizations, film centres and film commissions, ÉCU’s goes on an annual world tour called ÉCU-On-The-Road, which gives award-winning films (as well as many of the Official Selection films) the opportunity to have their films screened to a broader, global audience. ÉCU-On-The-Road showcased films in over 80 countries around the globe in 2016 - 2023 at special ÉCU mini-festivals, partner festivals, cultural institutions and film schools, including an amazing seven day special festival in São Paulo, Brazil. The event was made possible through the support of Caixa Cultural, São Paulo and was a huge success. ÉCU also held special events in Berlin (Germany), Cannes (France) and was part of festivals in Lebanon, Italy, Russia, USA, Romania, Austria, Denmark and other countries.
