Welcome to the six edition of Diminuto, International Minimal Film Festival, a celebration of short-films.
Diminuto comes from the Latin: extremely small. The minimal cinema is that tiny cinema, but immensely deep; brief, but extensive in possibilities; tiny, but capable of creating endless universes. Because we know that every second is important, this is a celebration of small short films, small projects that leave us with enormous emotions and diverse sensations. That is why we say that: The minimal cinema is the maximum.

In them, the concept of brevity and the ideology that allows highlighting the creative processes of the authors are promoted. Some works that were part of the Official selection and the Alternative films of the first edition were produced in these workshops.
Complementary to the exhibitions, programming and visualizations, the workshops will be given: Short films, short formats (level 1 and 2), there will be talks and master classes with specialists in cinematography, these activities will be carried out online, they are planned for the attendees and the interested public, seeking to promote new authors. Special online activities will be held for the authors of the winning short films in each category and the honorable mentions.
The Pirineos Mountain Film Festival (Mountain, Adventure and Nature Film Festival of the Pyrenees) was born in Huesca (Spain) as a film competition focused on mountain and Biosphere.
This film event held its first edition in sample format in February 2022, to give way in 2023 to an international competitive festival around mountain, adventure and nature short films.
Welcome to Wellsboro Film Festival, where independent cinema meets small-town charm. Founded by collaborating filmmakers who first worked together at their boring corporate video jobs, Thomas Smith and Thomas Verdi want to help others bring their stories to the screen. Having attended many film festivals, they've learned that some festivals care about their filmmakers' experience, and others see them as numbers or dollar signs. That's why they're going the extra mile to make Wellsboro Film Festival not just about the films, but about the entire filmmaker experience. At Wellsboro Film Festival, every accepted filmmaker will enjoy two nights' lodging at the historic Penn Wells Hotel. All accepted films will screen at the Arcadia Theatre, located right next to the hotel. Wellsboro, PA, with its quaint Main Street, embodies the essence of small-town USA—literally—as it's served as the setting for the Hallmark movie Christmas Comes Twice and comes with its very own Grand Canyon. Join us in February 2025 for a celebration of indie cinema, community, and camaraderie in this picture-perfect mountainside town.

The objective of the festival is to promote international competitiveness through attractiveness, a theme that concerns territories not only for what they are but also for how they can be developed and communicated. A territory is social value, exchange value and experience value, but also cultural value and economic value.
The Coliseum International Film Festival is a fundamental resource for the film industry as it not only contributes significantly to the cultural, economic and social development of the territory in which it is held, but also constitutes an essential link in the ecosystem of the film industry.
The Coliseum International Film Festival is multi-mission, in fact:
• promotes the knowledge and diffusion of international cinema in all its forms of art, entertainment and industry, in a spirit of freedom, equality and equal opportunities;
• offers directors wider recognition for their work, spreading word of mouth among critics, cinephiles and audiences;
• discovers new talent and helps structure emerging production areas;
• creates business opportunities for films that have not yet obtained agreements for commercial exploitation or for certain territories.
The fourth edition of the Festival is defined as "social", that is, with the aim of enhancing the aggregation of all the protagonists of independent cinema and first works and the social values of cinema.
The fifth edition, like the third, can be defined as a GREEN FESTIVAL from all the following points of view.
The Locos por el Cine Association calls for its First City of Alcobendas Short Film contest aimed at the dissemination and knowledge of new authors in the Audiovisual creation sector.
Our purpose is to stimulate and encourage cinematographic creativity as a form of cultural expression.

ASSERTING WOMEN'S RIGHTS is a project that emerged from the Festival de Málaga, in collaboration with documentary filmmaker Mabel Lozano and the Equal Opportunities Department of the Malaga City Council, as a tool for protest and advocacy. This section was created with the aim of exploring and addressing issues that raise social awareness about women's rights each year.
Launched in 2008, this section of the Festival de Málaga is now in its 19th edition. The project has a dual purpose: to shed light on the injustices that women continue to face in the 21st century simply because they are women, and to promote and support films created by women.
Through Asserting Women's Rights, we have brought attention to the challenges women face in different parts of the world. Even today, there are many places where women and girls must fight daily for their survival. In these regions, traditional practices and cultural norms often hinder their personal and social development, preventing them from achieving equality with their male counterparts.
