Welcome to the Radical Frame Film - 2025 Short Film Series - Berlin
We at the Radical Frame Film Festival are proud to announce edition number eleven of Short Film
Series.
The idea for the Radical Frame Film Festival started years ago when a group of Denver activists,
artists, and friends decided to bring the messages of video activist cinema into the public eye.
We feel that due to the current social and political climate, both locally and globally, our mission
-- to provide a forum for thought provoking films and debates -- is more critical than ever.
We are committed to presenting progressive, leftist, radical, anti-racist, experimental, and
visionary films that address issues including, but not limited to, the environment, human rights,
social injustice, antiglobalization, etc...
The Radical Frame Film Festival showcases every genre of independent film from across the world during this incredible bi-continental celebration of independent artists.
The Radical Frame Film Festival is a forum where filmmakers can thrive outside the mainstream arena.
The Short Film Series turns the spotlight on truly independent short films, created by new and
established filmmakers. The purpose is to allow anyone regardless of country, to step to their dreams and start taking the steps to live life with passion and purpose.

Since2008, the MAACASSO association organizes each year, an international art film festival called NYGO for “Nos Yeux Grands Ouverts” (which means Our Eyes Wide Open) . The festival creates a competition between young artists. Our aim is to promote and highlight the new talents of the contemporary audiovisual creation. For the 10th edition, on March the 1st, our association is looking for young artists with an art film project that will be submitted to the judgement of the NYGO jury.
This year, we invite all the candidates to work on the theme “Resonance”. This theme can be treated in a sonor, visual or conceptual way because it can be understood as a reflect, or an impact with consequences. The resonance is a link between two elements, an impact of one to another, an answer from one to another. The artist must express a resonance in its film, but its goal can also be the achievement of its own resonance into the public’s appreciation, to create a link between the artwork’s meaning and the spectator’s feeling.
We want the art films to be a mean for the artists to spread their ideas, visions, concerns and feelings as a shock wave on the public, and a canal to interconnect individuals.
Criteria to respect:
Person aged 18 to 30 years old.
Respect the theme imposed in his creative process.
One project per applicant but several artists possible on the realization.
The film must be between 1 minutes 30 seconds and 8 minutes, including the credits.

TRIBE Project brings you Through My Eyes Film Festival.
Through My Eyes is an international and Indigenous short film festival that seeks to showcase the stories of Indigenous peoples from all over the world. The festival aims to redefine the word Indigenous, originally meaning "of the land", and in doing so, create community through the understanding that we are all indigenous to somewhere. It doesn't matter if you're native to the United States, the aboriginal lands of Australia, Europe, Asia, or Africa.
Submissions need not be limited to content that explores Indigenous or Native Identity (though that is welcome). We seek radical inclusivity that embraces stories from the land you come from and the places that your ancestors once called home. From the heart of Native American actress and filmmaker, Tiger Moon, Through My Eyes is seeking submissions for LA's 4th annual Indigenous short film festival.
