El propósito de tener «UP INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL» en India es dar Expresión de Libertad a aquellos realizadores de largometrajes y cortometrajes que buscan una exposición internacional.
India es un país en rápido desarrollo en el mundo con sus múltiples culturas, tradiciones y espiritualidad. U.P. (Uttar Pradesh) es el estado más grande del país de la India. Nosotros, el «FESTIVAL INTERNACIONAL UP» vamos a presentar el arte, la cultura, las tradiciones y los lugares de interés turístico en U.P. a la comunidad mundial a través de la organización de un Festival Internacional de Cine de 3 días en Varanasi (Kashi).
Varias personas tienen dedicación y pasión por producir largometrajes y cortometrajes, pero debido a la escasez de fondos y recursos, no pueden encontrar ninguna plataforma para exhibir sus largometrajes y cortometrajes. Nosotros, el 'Festival Internacional de Cine UP ', vamos a proporcionarles una plataforma internacional para presentar sus obras únicas al público global. El «Festival Internacional de Cine UP» se organiza en Varanasi (India) durante las fechas 28-02-2020 al 01-03-2020.

Each year, our festival takes place in Paris during the springtime, which is not only a beautiful season but also an exciting time of year for ÉCU, because that is when we showcase roughly around 60 of the World’s very best independent films. Although ÉCU emphasises European talent, it also recognises the genius of international filmmakers with several categories allocated to non-European films.
The next ÉCU, the 21st edition, will take place on April, 2026 in Paris, France.
ÉCU isn’t just about screening an amazing slate of films over its three-day event in Paris. There are also professional workshops led by experts in the industry, Q&A’s held with the attending filmmakers after every screening session and a chance to network with fellow filmmakers, producers, agents, industry representatives, prospective film buyers and, of course, the cinema-loving public. At ÉCU, there is a dialogue focusing on celebrating but also critiquing the world’s best indie cinema of today.
Though ÉCU’s main event IS the three-day festival in Paris each spring, there is even more! Thanks to our 50+ partner festivals, partner organisations, film centres and film commissions, ÉCU goes on an annual world tour called ÉCU-On-The-Road. This gives award-winning films (as well as many of the Official Selection films) the opportunity for their films to reach a broader, global, international audience.
ÉCU-On-The-Road showcased films in over 80 countries around the globe in 2016 to 2025 at special ÉCU mini-festivals, partner festivals, cultural institutions and film schools, including an amazing seven day special festival in São Paulo, Brazil. The event was made possible through the support of Caixa Cultural, São Paulo and was a huge success. ÉCU also held special events in Berlin (Germany), Atami (Japan) and was part of festivals in Lebanon, Italy, Russia, USA, Romania, Austria, Denmark and other countries. This gives ÉCU filmmakers great exposure to audiences that they may never have reached otherwise.

Somos una plataforma de intercambio de ideas entre los jóvenes realizadores y los miembros experimentados en la industria del cine. Una fuente de energía para promover la exhibición, el aprendizaje y el desarrollo de la industria del cine en la región sur de Veracruz.
El XXV certamen de cortometrajes del AVILÉS ACCIÓN FILM FESTIVAL se celebrará entre el 10 y el 17 de octubre de 2026.
Podrán concurrir al certamen todas las personas mayores de 16 años, nacidas en España o con tarjeta de residencia en dicho país.
La participación en el certamen está abierta a los cortometrajes de producción y/o dirección española, salvo en la Sección Asturias, en la que el/la directora/a ó el/la productor/a deberá ser residente y/o nacido en el Principado de Asturias.

The Mile High Horror Film Festival is now open for submissions!
The MHHFF is recognized as one of the top 5 coolest horror/sci-fi film festivals in the world by MovieMaker Magazine. It returns to the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema in Littleton, CO May 7-10, 2020.
The MHHFF showcases the very best genre films from around the world. During our next festival, we will be celebrating our 10-year birthdate in an epic celebration of the horror genre.
We pride ourselves on giving a voice to quality, independent genre films and catering to the filmmakers who create them.
In our previous festival, we showcased over 90 films from several different countries, many of which were premiers.

El Festival Internacional de Cortometrajes Psarokokalo es un festival anual que se celebra en Grecia desde 2007. El festival tiene como objetivo ofrecer un escaparate para el trabajo de nuevos cineastas de todo el mundo y promover la diversidad y la riqueza del cortometraje. El festival forma parte de un proyecto que tiene como objetivo investigar, promover y desarrollar el arte cinematográfico. El programa del festival incluye proyecciones de cortometrajes de Grecia y del extranjero, así como eventos audiovisuales, conferencias, clases magistrales, exposiciones y conciertos en vivo. La calidad de sus proyecciones, conferencias y exposiciones lo ha convertido en un punto de referencia para cinéfilos, cineastas, profesionales y nuevos artistas. Cada año, las actividades del festival se ampliaron, recibiendo más participación de diferentes países y recibiendo un mayor apoyo de cineastas y profesionales. El Festival Internacional de Cortometrajes Shorty Week tiene como objetivos:
- Promover el cortometraje como medio de expresión, y por lo tanto, parte de nuestra cultura.
- Dar oportunidad a la difusión de los trabajos de nuevos talentos.
- Acercar al público el mundo del cortometraje a través de diferentes actividades
- Posibilitar, a través de este formato, la contribución a la mejora del mundo en que vivimos.

El X Festival Internacional de Cortometrajes Shorty Week 2023 se desarrollará a comienzos de septiembre en el Castillo de Santa Catalina de Cádiz. Allí se podrán ver los cortometrajes participantes en las diferentes secciones competitivas y la entrega de premios.
