Sicilymovie — Agrigento Film Festival es un festival de largometrajes, cortometrajes, documentales, videoclips, spots y cortos de animación, creado y organizado por la Asociación Southmovie, que se creó con el objetivo de llevar el cine al aire libre para todos al corazón de Sicilia: el evocador Valle de los Templos de Agrigento, una ciudad nombrada Capital Italiana de la Cultura 2025. Los temas abordados en las obras de directores de todo el mundo son múltiples y educativos.
La novena edición de Sicilymovie está dirigida a las mejores producciones y distribuciones de cortometrajes y documentales del mundo, que competirán por la Demetra de Oro, la estatuilla representativa del Festival que recuerda a la antigua Grecia, símbolo cultural de la antigua Akragas, la ciudad de Agrigento.
El proyecto cuenta con el apoyo y el patrocinio del Parque Arqueológico y Paisajístico Valle dei Templi de Agrigento, la Municipalidad de Agrigento, la Comisión de Cine de Sicilia y el Departamento de Turismo de la Región de Sicilia. El Parque Arqueológico y Paisajístico del Valle dei Templi tiene unas 1300 hectáreas de extensión y aquí se encuentran los restos de la antigua ciudad de Akragas y sus alrededores hasta el mar. El Valle de los Templos fue declarado «Patrimonio de la Humanidad» por la Unesco en 1997. Hoy en día, el Valle de los Templos cuenta con más de un millón de visitantes al año.

La Muestra de Cine y Creatividad del Centro Botín nació en 2015 con el objetivo de acercar al público el cine en formato corto al aire libre. A partir de la X edición se realiza en colaboración con la productora Sincio de Pelis.
El Centro Botín es un centro de arte internacional con una misión social: aprovechar la capacidad de las artes para potenciar la creatividad de sus visitantes, contribuyendo al desarrollo cultural, económico y social.

La undécima edición de la Muestra de Cine y Creatividad del Centro Botín, se celebrará en Santander los días 19, 20 y 21 de agosto de 2025 en distintas sedes. Organizada por el Centro Botín y Sincio de Pelis cuenta con el patrocinio del Ayuntamiento de Santander y la Consejería de Cultura, Turismo y Deporte del Gobierno de Cantabria.
En esta muestra podrán participar personas, físicas o jurídicas, que presenten cortometrajes de producción en España en los que la creatividad esté presente, tanto a través de su ejecución y formato, como a través de las historias que acontezcan a los personajes protagonistas y la forma de gestionar las situaciones a las que se enfrenten.

Tras el enorme éxito que supuso el BISFF 2024, estamos listos para acoger la 15ª edición. Como cada año, se trata de un intento de entender un poco mejor el medio e ir un poco más allá a la hora de inventar nuevas formas de contar historias como cineastas.
Este año, el Festival será una versión HÍBRIDA, con proyecciones tanto en línea como presenciales. Las proyecciones en línea serán únicamente para INDIAN Geography
El festival presenta cortometrajes de todo el mundo, lo que crea un espacio físico para una gran experiencia de audiencia y reúne a un público entusiasta para los cineastas. El BISFF también exhibe obras de maestros del pasado que han incursionado en la realización de cortometrajes, que hoy en día se consideran una forma de arte que necesita un enfoque único. Además, el festival presenta charlas y mesas redondas con los principales pensadores y profesionales de la industria, lo que permite a los realizadores en ciernes interactuar con los mejores de la industria. El BISFF también incluye experiencias de aprendizaje prácticas en talleres y demostraciones a cargo de profesionales, lo que ofrece una experiencia exclusiva para el público y, quizás, un espacio para que los creadores encuentren lo que buscan.
CINETEKTON es un proyecto cultural que tiene como objetivo principal la exhibición y promoción del cine contemporáneo, de autor, que se produce a nivel local, nacional e internacional.
CINETEKTON Festival Internacional de Cine y Arquitectura invita a realizadores de México, Latinoamérica y resto del mundo a que inscriban sus trabajos bajo los siguientes criterios de selección:

El XVI Festival de Cine: Infancia y Adolescencia -2025, es una fiesta con espacios de circulación y formación audiovisual para niños, niñas, adolescentes y jóvenes, con exhibiciones, actividades lúdicas, talleres, paneles y conversatorios, cuyo objetivo fundamental es promover a Bogotá, como ciudad pionera en América Latina en función de una infancia y una adolescencia visible, protagónica y plena de derechos a través de la construcción audiovisual. La participación es gratuita a las actividades de exhibición y circulación de contenido audiovisual.
El Certamen se realizará del 2 al 6 de septiembre de 2025.
Los niños, niñas y los adolescentes, accederán a un programa audiovisual conformado por cortometrajes nacionales e internacionales de animación y ficción, series de televisión y la categoría del “PREMIO FESTICINE” que se otorga a audiovisuales hechos por niños y niñas de Colombia. Se acompañarán con actividades lúdicas de reflexión sobre el eje temático: “CULTURA CIUDADANA Y MEDIO AMBIENTE”.
El Festival Internacional de Cine de Valdivia exhibe cine chileno e internacional en cinco categorías competitivas: Largometraje, Largometraje Juvenil, Cortometraje de Latinoamérica y el Caribe, Cortometraje Infantil de Latinoamérica y el Caribe, y Cortometraje Chileno de Estudiantes de Cine y Audiovisual. HollyShorts Film Festival (HSFF) is an annual short film festival showcasing the best and brightest short films from around the globe. The festival showcases the top short films produced 40 minutes or less.
The inaugural HollyShorts Film Festival took place in August '05 featured 23 short films from the U.S., UK, Poland, Canada and Thailand. The 2nd annual HollyShorts took place at Cinespace, Digital Supperclub in Hollywood, CA and featured 53 of the best short films from around the world. 13 different countries were represented. The third annual HollyShorts Film Festival took place August 10-12, 2007, drawing over $26,000 in prizes awarded. Best Short film honors went to "Songbird" Directed by John Thompson. Thompson was awarded a one week audio rental package courtesy of Action Audio and Visual, featuring sound and communications equipment rentals to utilize for his next film project. The festival featured Actor Adrian Grenier's short film "Euthanasia," a DJ performance from the legendary hip hop DJ Biz Markie and 57 short films in competition; three days of screenings, parties, insightful panels along with a slew of networking platforms for HollyShorts participants.
The 4th Annual HollyShorts Film Festival took place August 7-10, 2008 in Hollywood with top honors of Best Short Film going to “Bloom” directed Lance Larson. Larson was awarded $2000 VFX package courtesy of Clifton Post for his next project. The Best Student Short honors went to David Jibladze, for his short film “Beholden.” Jibladze took home a 5-day HVX-200, HD Camera rental package courtesy of Martini Crew Booking. Best Director went to Benedict Campbell for his short film “Lloyd Neck.” Best Director, Best Student and Best Short awards took home free Hollywood Screenwriter software from Write Brothers courtesy of Haydenfilms.
The festival’s awards ceremony and closing night reception took place in Hollywood, following a star-studded opening night celebration at the Egyptian Theatre, a music video celebration at Nacional in Hollywood and the festival’s short film competition screenings at Laemmle’s Sunset 5 Theatres. During the HollyShorts opening night ceremony on Thursday August 10, which featured appearances and short films from actors Jessica Biel, David Arquette and Josh Brolin, the festival awarded legendary filmmaker David Lynch the 2008 HollyShorts Visionary Award; Oscar winner Paul Haggis with the 2008 HollyShorts Outstanding Achievement in film award and fast-rising actress Paula Garces with the 2008 HollyShorts Future Star award.
At the HollyShorts inaugural music video competition, the festival awarded two winners for Best Music Video, “La Chica Y Su Bolsa” Directed by Daniel Campos and “Good Morning Herr Horst” Directed by Lovisa Inserra. The music video Audience choice winner went to “Temporarily In Love” Directed by Randy Scott Slavin. All HollyShorts film winners took home a free film distribution kit from Film Specific and one year premium membership to Film Specific. Winners also received free filmmaker software packages from HollyShorts sponsor Showbiz Software and will receive Stash DVD’s from sponsor Stash Media.
The 5th Annual HollyShorts Film Festival® (August 6-13, 2009) took place in Hollywood and featured a star studded, Red Carpet Opening Night Reception event at the Directors Guild of America (DGA). The festival featured participation from industry heavyweights including: Demi Moore, Jimmy Jean-Louis, Kirsten Dunst, Eli Roth, Darren Lew, Jason Biggs , Carter Smith and David Prior. The week-long festival featured screenings at the DGA, Laemmle's Sunset 5 Theatre in Hollywood and a number of industry panels and receptions at the to venues in the city.
The 6th Annual HollyShorts Film Festival® took place August 5-12, 2010 in Hollywood and featured a major opening night reception, week-long screenings of short films and feature films in Hollywood, high level industry panels, keynotes, awards and receptions for the community and filmmakers. Grand prizes were awarded for Best Short and Best Director courtesy of Company 3 valued at $20,000. Openfilm also sponsored the festival and screened their top 5 finalists for their $250,000 Get It Made Competition, at the fest. James Caan attended the opening night ceremonies and named the finalists.
The 7th Annual HollyShorts Film Festival wrapped last night with a standing room only awards ceremony at the Geisha House in Hollywood live-streamed courtesy of Dyal Productions and hosted by Actress Sheila Shah. Audience choice winners from each program will be announced later this weekend. The HollyShorts Best Overall Short Film prize, which wins a $10,000 in post production and finishing services package from Company 3, went to “Mrs. Peppercorn’s Magical Reading Room” by Mike Le Han. The HollyShorts Best Director Award which wins a $10,000 post production and finishing services package from Company 3, went to Christian Swegal, Director of “Stasis.”
Continuing the tradition of growth, the 8th Annual HollyShorts Film Festival opened at the world famous Grauman's Chinese Theatre on Hollywood Blvd to over 900 guests. The evening was capped off by the HollyShorts Visionary Award being given to Joe Carnahan.

Also taking home a $10,000 post-production prize from Company 3 for the Best Director Category was Sacha Feiner for Un Monde Meilleur (A Better World). The 9th edition of the HollyShorts Film Festival featured over 12,000 attendees with 8 days of screenings, daily networking events, panels and seminars during the HollyShorts Film Conference and Awards. 2013 Visionary Award honoree Matthew Modine closed the festival with the theatrical premiere of his collection of short films at the TCL Chinese Theatre.

Los objetivos del Festival son:
— establecimiento y desarrollo de contactos entre estudios infantiles y juveniles, intercambio de experiencias y desarrollo profesional ulterior de los participantes;
— comunicación al público en general de obras y proyectos interesantes y destacados de diferentes países, presentación de las mejores prácticas mundiales en el desarrollo de la industria del cine y la televisión infantil y juvenil;
— la configuración de plataformas creativas y de comunicación para intercambiar experiencias y presentar nuevos proyectos durante el Festival y entre los tiempos del Festival;
— desarrollo personal creativo, educación de valores morales y activismo social;
— llamar la atención de las organizaciones gubernamentales, no gubernamentales y entidades comerciales sobre las cuestiones relacionadas con el desarrollo de la creatividad infantil y juvenil en pantalla, los procesos de formación de la personalidad mediante la recepción de información transmitida por los medios de comunicación electrónicos, las necesidades de los clubes creativos infantiles y juveniles; el desarrollo de niños talentosos y su futuro.
El Festival se celebra entre estudios de televisión infantil y juvenil, animación, cine y radio, clubes, grupos y autores individuales, emisoras de televisión y radio y entidades de producción creativa, directores y centros de productores, que producen programas y películas para niños y jóvenes.

Cinefilia Tanguera es un Festival Internacional & Itinerante de cortometrajes vinculados al TANGO, no competitivo.
Su primordial objetivo ha sido desde su creación, y seguirá siendo, el de promover el tango desde una óptica original y sin difusión y promoción en ninguna parte del mundo, como son los trabajos de cortometrajes y documentales sobre la identidad del tango en todas sus facetas.

El XV Festival Internacional de Mediometrajes LA CABINA se celebrará en València (España) del 8 al 18 de noviembre de 2022.
El 36º Festival Internacional Message to Man de películas documentales, cortas de ficción, animadas y experimentales tendrá lugar del 16 al 24 de octubre de 2026 en San Petersburgo, Rusia.
A lo largo de los años, el Festival ha acogido a destacadas figuras del cine mundial, como Werner Herzog, Ulrich Seidl, Claude Lanzmann, Isabelle Huppert, Fanny Ardant, Agnès Varda, Mira Nair, Paolo Sorrentino, Alan Berliner, Eric Roberts, Jonathan Rosenbaum, Abdellatif Kechiche, Udo Kier y muchos otros.
Con una historia que abarca tres décadas de desarrollo cinematográfico, Message to Man fue fundada en 1989 en Leningrado por el cineasta Mikhail Litvyakov, quien ahora es el presidente honorario del Festival.
En 2010, Alexei Uchitel, un reconocido director de documentales y largometrajes, asumió el cargo de presidente del festival.
El programa del Festival gira en torno a tres competiciones: internacional, nacional y experimental, que proporcionan una plataforma para que tanto largometrajes como cortometrajes compitan por el Gran Premio del Festival. Message to Man atrae cada año a miles de cinéfilos a San Petersburgo.
CINEFIESTA, nuestro internacionalmente reconocido Festival, es un proyecto que impacta la cultura y la economía. Con el paso de los años y el apoyo de múltiples entidades públicas y privadas, CINEFIESTA se convirtió en uno de los Festivales de Cortometrajes más importantes de América, y no sería exagerar, el decir que en uno de relevancia mundial.
International Green Film Week was officially approved by SGAPPRFT (State Administration of Press Publication Radio Film and Television). Its mission is “to carry the memories via films, to protect the future via cameras”. It is a large-scale film culture event held by Chinese filmmakers to raise awareness of animal, nature and environment protection. In the Film Week, we have discussed new topics such as “Green Films Hatching”, “Green Cinema Screening”, “Green Culture Inheritance”, established a platform for international green film communication and cooperation, and recommended excellent green films and talents all over the world.
Since 2007, we have successfully hosted 7 sessions of the only animal and nature themed film festivals in China. We have gained the support from 16 countries, collected more than 2000 films from over 100 countries, and over 1000 celebrities and experts have joined our events. We have hosted special Chinese screening film sessions in USA, Canada, France, Finland and etc. We are an important force among the other film festivals in Asia.
