El Certamen de Cortometrajes "Live Action" es un festival que pretende acoger las distintas formas de expresión de la cultura alternativa a través del audiovisual.
El Indy Film Fest se fundó en 2004 para celebrar el arte del cine y crear una experiencia compartida en torno al cine en Indianápolis. Somos un festival de cine independiente, internacional y sin fines de lucro que programa tanto largometrajes como cortometrajes. Nuestro personal, compuesto exclusivamente por voluntarios, se esfuerza por ofrecer las mejores películas que la industria tiene para ofrecer a nuestra comunidad, tanto nacionales como extranjeras. Nuestros programadores tienen como objetivo fomentar nuevos talentos y ayudar a los cineastas a conectarse con la industria global. También nos dedicamos a educar y desarrollar audiencias para el cine internacional e independiente en Indy, proyectando el tipo de obras innovadoras y visionarias que normalmente no se distribuyen en esta área.
El Indy Film Fest busca los mejores largometrajes y cortometrajes independientes sin importar la categoría o el género: acción real, animación, drama, comedia, narrativa, documental, terror, ciencia ficción y experimental. Nuestro festival anual, que dura más de 10 días, suele programar alrededor de 25 largometrajes y 100 cortometrajes, con más del 90% de las inscripciones.
Siempre creciendo y adaptándose, el Indy Film Fest comenzó como un Festival Internacional de Cine de Indianápolis, de tres días de duración, en 2004. Rápidamente nos expandimos a nuestro formato actual de 10 días en 2006, trasladamos nuestras festividades al verano de 2009, cambiamos nuestro nombre por el de Indy Film Fest en 2014 y, desde 2018, hemos vuelto a casa en nuestro calendario original de primavera. Debido a la COVID-19, nuestros festivales de 2020 y 2021 fueron principalmente virtuales y los de 2022 a 2025 fueron festivales híbridos presenciales de 5 días de duración, seguidos de la disponibilidad virtual y que finalizaron con proyecciones presenciales premiadas el último fin de semana. Ese formato es nuestro objetivo para el festival de 2026 y, antes de que se tomen las decisiones de selección, se informará a los cineastas de cualquier cambio en las fechas o el formato y se les dará la oportunidad de solicitar que su cuota de inscripción se aplique a un festival futuro si esos cambios no son aceptables.
Los exalumnos del Indy Film Fest (y del Festival Internacional de Cine de Indianápolis) pueden optar a un número razonable de inscripciones gratuitas. Las películas con vínculos importantes con Indiana son elegibles para una reducción drástica de las tarifas de inscripción. Los ejemplos de elegibilidad incluyen que el director o escritor sea residente o nativo de Indiana actualmente, o que la película se haya rodado principalmente en Indiana. All submitted films will be reviewed by a jury of film professionals, that will look for creativity, talent, powerful ideas, quality and attention to details, regardless of the experience of those involved in the creation process and the budget of the submitted works.
The Film Competition will be a 3-day event that will include thematic workshops, live screening events, industry talks and networking cocktails.
In addition to the Film Competition, we created Spotlight with the aim of better promoting the best submitted projects. We will screen the best 10 films submitted in the first 6 months of the year.

La Polbert Cinema si prefigge, con la quarta edizione dell'International Film Festival di Rivoli, di continuare sulla strada intrapresa dando spazio a registi emergenti spesso indipendenti, che realizzano i propri lavoro low budget e che toccano, con la loro creatività, temi molto attuali come la violenza sulle Donne e le discriminazioni in ogni sua forma. I temi a cui si possono ispirare i registi sono di carattere sociale come meglio specificato nel bando 2020 allegato. Il tema sempre presente nella nostra kermesse è quanto mai ricorrente e attuale e desideriamo con il nostro e vostro contributo, dare un forte messaggio di denuncia.
Accanto a questo tema, sempre presente nelle tre precedenti edizioni, abbiamo deciso quest'anno di aggiungere altri due temi quali il «comico», e ambientale, al fine di ampliare la potenziale platea dei registi che posano partecipare alla nostra iniziativa.

Situado en el corazón de la capital iraní, Teherán, el Festival Internacional de Cine de Fajr rinde homenaje a las películas nacionales e internacionales de calidad. Se trata de un evento que celebra el intercambio cultural, muestra logros creativos de cineastas y recién llegados aclamados, y exhibe películas que promueven la contribución artística al medio. Además, el festival también presta especial atención a las películas que buscan justicia y ponen de relieve los valores humanos y morales.
El festival se centra especialmente en películas de Oriente Medio, Asia Central, Cáucaso y Anatolia, así como obras que anuncian la paz y la amistad como verdaderas enseñanzas de los santos profetas.
Además, el Festival Internacional de Cine de Fajr ofrece una plataforma única en esta región geográfica para el intercambio de experiencias profesionales y encuentros internacionales. Además, se ofrecen cursos intensivos de formación a jóvenes cineastas, si es posible.
Mientras tanto, el International Film Market, más conocido como IFM, ofrece una excelente oportunidad para la adquisición y venta de derechos cinematográficos, proyectos de coproducción y ofrece apoyo para la producción y proyección de nuevas películas iraníes. En esta edición, el mercado se formará como un evento online.
Tras la cancelación del festival en 2020 debido al estallido de COVID-19, la 38ª edición del Festival Internacional de Cine Fajr se celebrará del 26 de mayo al 2 de junio de 2021 en Teherán, bajo la dirección del cineasta iraní Mohammad Mehdi Asgarpour.
Las películas FIFF 2021 — Selección Oficial se proyectarán físicamente.
El Festival Internacional de Cine Lésbico y Gai de Andalucía acepta películas de interés para lesbianas, gais, bisexuales, intersexuales y transexuales. Para participar en la sección competitiva (premios), las obras no deberían haber sido exhibidas en salas comerciales o emitidas por TV o en cualquier otro festival en España a excepción de los organizados por la Fundación Triángulo.
En cualquier caso las solicitudes de participación en el festival deben tener copyleft or copyright posterior a 2023.

99.media es un nuevo tipo de festival de cine documental: tanto online como en la vida real.
Se trata de una plataforma de vídeo gratuita y sin ánimo de lucro que transmite documentales en 6 idiomas (inglés, español, francés, portugués, alemán e italiano) + una serie de proyecciones en directo en diferentes ciudades donde se hablan nuestros idiomas.
Nuestro objetivo es democratizar los documentales gracias al multilingüismo y ayudar a los cineastas a conseguir un público más amplio y más impacto.

La temática del Concurso es “Realidades Sociales”, entendidas desde la más amplia diversidad; las obras han de reflejar, difundir o denunciar cualquier aspecto de la realidad social en su diversidad con diferentes colectivos que viven situaciones diferentes (violencia, discriminación, inclusión, diferencia, incompresión, grupos urbanos, colectivos particulares...etc).
En esa realidad se incluyen las minorías sociales, sea por razón de orientación sexual/identidad de género, diversidad funcional, nacionalidad, edad, religión, etc. El objetivo es generar cultura y fomentar la igualdad en la diversidad social mostrando a los diferentes colectivos existentes.
