Screening-Gebühren
Ab 2020 haben wir den Geldpreis abgesagt. Stattdessen werden alle Filme, die für den Kinodot Wettbewerb ausgewählt wurden, jetzt die Screening-Gebühr von $40 angeboten. Für uns ist es eine Möglichkeit, unseren Filmemachern, deren Arbeit wir bewundern, unsere Unterstützung und Wertschätzung auszudrücken.
Einreichung und andere Bedingungen
Das Festival findet in St. Petersburg in der zweiten Hälfte des Mai 2020 statt (die genauen Termine werden im Januar bekannt gegeben). Experimentelle Filme beliebiger Länge, die nicht vor dem 15.01.2018 fertiggestellt wurden, können eingereicht werden.
Die Bewerbungsfrist für den Kinodot Wettbewerb ist der 28. Februar. Die Teilnahmegebühr beträgt $10. Kinodot ist ein unabhängiges Festival (bislang klopfen auf Holz) und die Einreichungsgebühren sind unsere einzige Finanzierungsquelle.
Mit der Einreichung des Films bei Kinodot Competition erklären sich die Urheberrechtsinhaber damit einverstanden, dass der Film bei Auswahl bis zu 4 Mal während des Festivals und bis zu 2 weitere Male in den nächsten zwei Jahren während nicht-kommerzieller Werbe-Kinodot Screenings gezeigt wird.

Die Geschichte
Kinodot wurde 2012 als minimalistisches Online-Kurzfilmfestival auf kinodot.com gestartet. Mit der Zeit hat sich das Projekt zu einem unabhängigen internationalen Experimentalfilmfestival mit Live-Vorführungen in Kinos und unkonventionellen Schauplätzen in St. Petersburg entwickelt.
Ursprünglich mussten Filme, die Kinodot eingereicht wurden, mindestens eines der vier Auswahlkriterien erfüllen*:
No Money - Filme ohne Budget gemacht;
Kein Mumbling - Filme ohne Dialog oder Erzählung;
Keine Musik - Filme ohne Musikmusik;
Keine Montage - Filme, die ohne Bearbeitung gemacht werden, d.h. in einem Schuss gefilmt werden.
*Es ist keine Voraussetzung mehr, sondern eine Hommage an die Tradition. Dennoch bevorzugen wir im Allgemeinen noch minimalistische Filme.
Kinodot wurde geschaffen, um neue experimentelle Filme zu unterstützen und zu verbreiten und Filmemacher zu inspirieren, auf ihre Weise zu experimentieren. Wir fördern Ideenfreiheit, Formalismus, Einfachheit und Selbsteinschränkung im Widerspruch zur Sekundärfilmproduktion und Selbstzensur von Hochpreisfestivals. Wir glauben, dass ein großartiger Film mit sehr einfachen Mitteln erstellt werden kann, ohne spezielle Ausbildung oder teure Ausrüstung. Wir glauben auch, dass das Erstellen und Befolgen von strengen formalen Regeln eine befreiende Wirkung auf jeden Künstler haben kann.

The Houston Comedy Film Festival is a unique forum for international independent filmmakers to showcase their Comedy Feature Length and Short Films in Houston, Texas. The 10th Houston Comedy Film Festival will take place April 13th, 2019 featuring films from multiple countries around the world.
Film and Cultural Association of nonprofit "LABORATORIO DEI SOGNI", organizes in 2019, the 9th edition of the competition "KALAT NISSA FILM FESTIVAL" in CALTANISSETTA [Sicily].
The festival is aimed at directors and to Italian and foreign Filmmakers, to schools, associations and companies that have produced short films.

Das Short International Film Festival (SHort IFF) wird von der Maremetraggio Association organisiert.
Seit 2000 ist Short IFF ein Meilenstein für Kurzfilme und aufstrebende Kameraleute auf internationaler Ebene. Ransäter Filmfestival is short film festival that will be held for the 4th time 4-6 april 2019. Our main purpose is to bring quality short to the small village of Ransäter. We think that it´s important that everyone has the possibility to enjoy and experience film close to where you live so you don't need to go all the way to Stockholm-, Gothenburg- or Uppsala Filmfestivals.
The first day will be a workshop held by Kaisa El Ramly (won best short 2018) the workshop will be dedicated to aspiring young actors. The second day we will screen the selected shorts that are in competition. The third day we will have a retrospective with a director who made the difficult transition from short and feature. The price ceremony will also be held on the third day and we end the festival with a live music act
A jury of three will decide one winner and the audience will decide one winner. If you win you need to be present to receive the price money. At least two of the filmmakers that are selected will be invited to this years festival.

Das Lucca Film Festival hat 3 Wettbewerbe: den Internationalen Spielfilmwettbewerb, den Internationalen Kurzfilmwettbewerb und den Kurzfilmwettbewerb „Lucca Film Festival for Future“.
2026 wird die 22. Ausgabe des Internationalen Spielfilmwettbewerbs des Lucca Film Festival sein. In den vergangenen Ausgaben waren wichtige Persönlichkeiten des Kinos wie Cristi Puiu, Rutger Hauer, Philip Groening, Claudio Giovannesi, Daniele Ciprì, Massimo Gaudioso, Massimo Cantini Parrini und Lina Nerli Taviani Teil der internationalen Jury.
Bei den Filmen, die bei diesem Wettbewerb gezeigt werden, handelt es sich um italienische Premieren. Die letzte Ausgabe wurde von „Der Käfig sucht einen Vogel“ von Malika Musaeva gewonnen.
Es gibt vier Auszeichnungen: den Preis für den besten Spielfilm (3000€), der von einer Jury aus renommierten Gästen aus Film und Wissenschaft verliehen wird, und den Preis der Hochschuljury für den besten Spielfilm (verliehen von einer Universitätsjury), den Preis für den besten Spielfilm — Populäre Jury und den Marcello-Petrozziello-Preis.
Für diejenigen, die sich für diesen Wettbewerb interessieren, ist der letzte Tag für Einreichungen der 15. Juli 2026 bis Mitternacht.
Es gibt keine Einschränkungen hinsichtlich des Genres oder Themas der Filme. Die einzigen Anforderungen sind die folgenden: Die Filme müssen mindestens 60 Minuten lang sein und dürfen nicht vor dem 1. Januar 2026 gezeigt worden sein. Darüber hinaus müssen sie italienische Premieren sein, sodass sie nicht auf einem anderen italienischen Festival präsentiert, auf einer offenen Online-Plattform gezeigt oder auf andere Weise in Italien verbreitet worden sein dürfen.
Zum 20. Mal in Folge findet der Wettbewerb für historische Kurzfilme statt, dessen Gewinner einen Preis in Höhe von 1000€ erhält. Jedes Jahr erhält die Auswahlkommission dieses Wettbewerbs mehr als 500 Filme zur Bewertung. Unter den Regisseuren, die an früheren Ausgaben teilgenommen haben, befinden sich Prominente wie Adan Jodorowsky, Sohn des berühmten chilenischen Filmemachers.
Die Filme haben keine Einschränkungen in Bezug auf Genre und Thema. Die einzige Voraussetzung ist, dass sie nicht länger als 29 Minuten dauern dürfen. Für den Kurzfilmwettbewerb ist der letzte Tag für Einreichungen der 15. Juli 2026 bis Mitternacht.
Zweite Ausgabe des neuen Kurzfilmwettbewerbs „Lucca Film Festival for Future“, der dank der Zusammenarbeit mit der Sofidel Group ins Leben gerufen wurde, dem zweitgrößten Produzenten in Europa und dem siebten weltweit, was die Produktionskapazitäten im Bereich Papier für Hygiene und Haushalt angeht (insbesondere bekannt für die Marke Regina), die Nachhaltigkeit zu einem strategischen Hebel für Entwicklung und verantwortungsbewusstes Wachstum gemacht hat, um ihre Auswirkungen auf das Naturkapital zu verringern und den Übergang zu einer kohlenstoffarmen Wirtschaft zu fördern.
Die Liste der ausgewählten Filme wird bis zum 10. September 2026 auf der Website des Festivals veröffentlicht. Während des Festivals werden die Filme in den Kinos gezeigt, die an der Veranstaltung teilnehmen, und auf Abruf online.

Das 20. River Film Festival ist ein internationales Filmfestival, das vom 3. bis 20. Juni 2026 in Padua, Italien, stattfindet.
Das Festival wird von der Cultural Association Researching Movies organisiert und vom Stadtrat von Padua, der Region Venetien und dem italienischen Kulturministerium unterstützt.
Padua wurde kürzlich dank der Scrovegni-Kapelle von Giotto und der Freskenzyklen der Stadt aus dem 14. Jahrhundert in die Liste des UNESCO-Weltkulturerbes aufgenommen und ist damit eine ganz besondere Kunststadt, die Touristen und Kreative aus der ganzen Welt anzieht.

Die ausgewählten Filme werden erneut auf einer schwimmenden Leinwand gezeigt, die sich in der Mitte des Flusshafens von Porta Portello aus dem 16. Jahrhundert befindet, dem historischen Stadttor, das einst für den Handel zwischen Padua und Venedig genutzt wurde. The Sicilia Queer filmfest – International New Visions Festival is a project whose aim is to promote the cinematographic culture and the fight against social discrimination, and to protect and sustain the culture of diversity through the promotion of non-compliant movies, exploring horizons in search of a new perspective towards the cinema of the future. The Awards ceremony is always visited and recorded by a large number of mass media.
The Master-class is a so-called Q&A horror convention held in a cinema theatre in a form of a question-answer session between the star guests of the festival and the audience + autograph session. The event usually ends with a premier film screening.
The festival program is a week non-stop screening of new movies in several Moscow cinema theatres. The films-participants of the competition program are being selected by the festival’s jury. Submissions are being analysed and accepted by the festival's organization committee during the whole year.
The festival's schedule usually also contains a pre-party and an after-party arranged for the honored guests and winners.
The TV version of the festival is televised by Tricolor TV platform.
The festival specializes in all sub-genres of horror and action film industry, i.e.: cartoon horror, comedy horror, psychological thriller, trash horror, zombie horror, giallo, slasher, suspense, detective, action, fantasy, sci-fi etc. Starting from the year 2013 the festival also specializes in survival horror video games sphere.
The festival is annually visited in person by World-known honored guests. Experimental Forum is an international performance, film and video art festival showcasing experimental film and artists’ moving image from new directors and innovative video artists from around the globe, with the third edition taking place in Los Angeles in November 2018. Our aim is to provide a supportive platform for the exciting and challenging work that is outside the scope of mainstream film festivals and art galleries.
We welcome experimental cinema pieces (abstract, narrative or documentary), video art works, essay films, artists’ moving image and media art, as well as documentary and narrative films that seek to expand, redefine or reconfigure the means and ends of their respective fields. Experimental Forum exists to provide access to, and develop audiences for, artists’ moving image work and is committed to engaging local audiences with new and/or unheard voices in film.
We are particularly interested in works made by early stage filmmakers and artists whose work is underrepresented. We provide a collaborative platform for moving image works made for the gallery and for the cinema with the aim of building a community across disciplinary and institutional faultlines.
