Jiffy Louvre II : Laissez l'inquiétude derrière (encore)
Après une pause de deux ans, le Short Shorts Festival de la Whitespace Gallery d'Atlanta, en Géorgie, revient pour sa septième édition et le second juré par Joe Peragine, artiste d'Atlanta et directeur de la Welch School of Art & Design. Le titre, utilisé à l'origine dans Short Shorts 2019, est un mash-up de haut (le Louvre, musée des musées) et bas (Jiffy Lube, pourvoyeurs du travail de lubrifiant en voiture dont le slogan est « laisser l'inquiétude derrière »). Le titre reprend le large objectif esthétique de ce festival. N'importe quel budget, n'importe quel genre, n'importe quelle histoire sont les bienvenus, à condition que cela nous donne un bref répit par rapport à ces moments de folie où nous vivons. Nous sommes ouverts à des travaux décalés, non narratifs et expérimentaux.
Le festival des courts métrages sera projeté en direct à la Whitespace Gallery d'Atlanta le samedi 17 septembre 2022. Whitespace est l'une des principales galeries d'art contemporain d'Atlanta et du sud-est, favorisant un environnement immersif de libre expression, d'intimité et de dialogue. Il y aura également une deuxième projection en direct en plein air sur le campus de la Georgia State University le jeudi 22 septembre 2022.
Les peintures, la sculpture et l'animation de Joe Peragines ont été présentées dans des galeries, des espaces d'art contemporain et des musées aux États-Unis et à l'étranger. Né à Jersey City, New Jersey, Peragine vit avec sa famille à Atlanta et est actuellement directeur de l'Ernest G. Welch School of Art & Design de la Georgia State University.

L'India Cine Film Festival a ses racines il y a près de dix ans dans le nord de l'Inde. Le festival a été lancé à Meerut et s'est achevé avec succès à Noida avec la participation de près de 18 pays. En 2014, le Miniboxoffice a officiellement adopté le festival par ses organisateurs et le Indian Cine Film Festival évolue désormais avec les esprits passionnés de Miniboxoffice. L'objectif de l'ICFF-26 est de donner un nouvel élan au cinéma indépendant.
L'objectif de l'ICFF est de créer une plate-forme pour la rencontre, le partage et le développement de grandes idées cinématographiques. The N.I.F.F Noto International Film Festival is organized by the "MAGNETIC FILM PRODUCTION" and dedicated to works created in any format and open to all Italians and foreign authors.
To join in the festival you must be 18+
The jury appointed by the organizers of MAGNETIC FILM PRODUCTION will be made up of experts in the field of cinematography, music, and journalism, chaired by film critic Giuseppe Liotta.
The 9th edition of SantangeloInCorto, short film review, is organized by the Sant'Antonino Martyr of Sant'Angelo dei Lombardi in collaboration with the Issa Oratory. The event will take place in August 2018 in Sant'Angelo dei Lombardi (AV).
The theme of short films is free.
Participation is open to works in any language, provided they are subtitled in Italian.
The Organizing Committee reserves the right to reject works whose contents may be considered explicitly offensive to public morality and / or violating the rights of the individual or any other rights of third parties.
They can not participate in the Work Contest with a commercial use, though free of charge.
The previous participation in other national or international festivals does not preclude participation in the festival;
Videos must have a minimum duration of 90 seconds and a maximum duration of 10 minutes (including titles); Videos must have a minimum resolution of 1280x720 pixels.

Incluye a todos los niños y niñas de nacionalidad argentina de entre 5 y 13 años, que estudien en las escuelas de educación primaria de todo el país, a través de la presentación de una o más obras. Vienna’s first International Human Rights Film Festival - this human world, is a platform of cinematic art and critical discourse, a space of encounter and dialogue, and a meeting point for young innovative filmmakers, both local and international. The films shown at this human world are presented in an International competition programme consisting of four different sections and a number of thematic programmes, curated by the festival team, curators, experts, NGOs and partner festivals.
this human world presents outstanding documentary and fictional feature films, short films, animations and experimental films dealing with human rights issues. Films, that aim to encourage people, to scrutinise and re-examine their views and that are wary of human rights and responsibilities. Furthermore the festival programme contains thematic lectures, workshops, talks, panel discussions, performances and a nightline.
this human world ‘s annual competition programme does contain films, that raise social awareness of human rights issues outside the framework of mainstream films and that focus on socio-critical themes. Who should submit?
KAFFNY invites filmmakers and artists of all backgrounds, from any country. Given our history, Korean, Korean-American and Korean – diaspora filmmakers are especially encouraged to share their works, but that is by no means required. Films from years 2017 and 2018 preferred.
What themes/topics/films are appropriate?
Any films, shorts, or documentaries which reflect the commonalities of humanity across cultural divides, highlight multi-cultural interaction, challenge existing narratives, or provide mirrors for people to reflect on their own culture through the experience of another.
2018 Theme: Conversations to Form The Future
Films which address topical themes of 2018 will be given additional consideration, including:

The past eleven years of experience in telling Korean American stories helped KAFFNY to identify and find commonality with other stories at the intersection of all cultures. 2017 KAFFNY Festival
2017’s festival, held on October 14th at the Wythe Hotel Cinema featured five distinct blocks of programming that approached the topic of Infinite Culture through specific lenses: INFINITE FOOD CONNECTION, INFINITE FASHION CONNECTION, WORLDWIDE KOREAN CONNECTION, INFINITE MIGRATION CONNECTION, and CRAZY, RICH ASIAN AMERICANS. Alongside the screening of 25 short films and two feature-length films, the audience engaged in meaningful discussions with the filmmakers during the moderated panel discussions.

Originally founded in 2006 as the Korean American Film Festival New York, our festival venues include: Wythe Hotel Cinema, Village East Cinemas, TheTimesCenter, SVA Theatre, Chelsea Clearview Cinemas, Skirball Center at NYU, Anthology Film Archives, as well as gallery and outdoor public spaces throughout New York City. KAFFNY Infinite Cinema's mission is to allow the audience to connect stories that are often missing from the mainstream narrative, allow the audience to engage in dialogue with the content makers to fuse a new understanding of our world, and hopefully inspire our audience to repeat this process by seeking out new ways to connect to a culture outside their own. Transylvania Cinema Awards is a film competition with two seasonal events, reuniting cinema enthousiasts in the heart of Transylvania, Romania. The goal is to design a space where innovation and creativity fusion in order to deliver the best result to a new public.
We create an opportunity for filmmakers to get their films judged and let them compete with other filmmakers. We perform a comprehensive evaluation process and the jury of film professionals will only select high quality films. The festival will welcome all genres of films from all over the world. We expect to receive films with courage, unique voices and messages and a strong personal mark.
The competition is structured on two seasons, winter and summer, with an official screening event per each season. The best films from each category will be screened on the most beautiful venue of Targu Mures, a charming old city in Transylvania, Cinema Arta, a place with longstanding tradition for film lovers.
Cinema Arta has 3 screening rooms with a total of 340 seat capacity. Films can be screened in 2D/3D/DCI with Dolby Digital Sound.
For filmmakers who want to attend the January event, the cinema is located in P-ta Trandafirilor nr. 35-37, Targu Mures, jud. Mures, 540049, Romania. For event tickets and bookings please contact us in advance.
The deadline for entries in the next autumn season is 1 September 2018 and the Official Screening will be held on 5-7 October 2018. Winners will be notified and published on the official site and social media pages of the festival after the screenings.

Short film award for international works that show, under various aspects, the importance of fields, agriculture and the community through cinema.
These are the fields that produce what we eat, which allow us to affirm the human capacity to enrich nature and to reap its benefits, but it is the community that, through human interactions, relationships and rules, is able to guarantee survival and the well-being of man.
As part of the 2018 edition dedicated to the theme "If I stay, it's because ..." Corto has headed a collaboration with the Slow Food Condotta of Avellino, aimed at investigating the ways in which the cinema tells the campaign and the community
We are not just looking for stories of agriculture but stories that tell us how people, through agriculture, are still willing to invest in the human, to bet on a piece of land not only to secure a job but also to reaffirm the relationship of man with nature, with things, animals and with the community that surrounds them. Particular attention will also be given to food as a product of sustainable and human-scale agriculture that in turn goes to support the culture and sense of belonging of each community.
The Norwich Film Festival was recently chosen by The Metro as one of "the top UK film festivals you need to know about", and in 2017 became a BIFA (British Independent Film Awards) qualifying short film festival.
We have been running since 2009 and over the years we have hosted over 75 events and screened over 500 films to the public.
The Norwich Film Festival has an amazing array of celebrity patrons including Stephen Fry, Tim McInnerny, Olivia Colman, Julian Jarrold, Brian Cox & John Collee. We also work hard to recruit industry judges (see below) who are all eager to watch our nominated films.
Our 2018 film judges will only view the NOMINATED Films selected and the Norwich Film Festival will then allocate which film categories that judges will watch.
