c] Permitir el acceso democrático del público de la Baixada Fluminense a la producción audiovisual reciente;

Desde 2013, el Festival Internacional de Cine por los Derechos Humanos Colombia ofrece a los asistentes una programación audiovisual, cultural y académica que le aporta a la formación de públicos, al fortalecimiento de las industrias cinematográfica y cultural, a la creación de espacios de diálogo en torno a la vida, la reconciliación, la promoción y defensa de los derechos humanos, y a la construcción de ideas para la paz.
El Festival es el escenario ideal para la comunidad fílmica de Colombia y el mundo que le apuesta a la narración audiovisual con enfoque en derechos humanos, por eso se convierte en la principal plataforma de promoción, circulación, distribución y exhibición de obras audiovisuales cuya demanda es limitada debido a su temática poco comercial.
El Festival se realiza de manera simultánea en las ciudades de Cartagena, Barranquilla, Medellín, Cali, Bogotá, Manizales, Pereira, Quibdó y en cerca de 20 municipios del país.
Experimental Forum is an international performance, film and video art festival showcasing experimental film and artists’ moving image from new directors and innovative video artists from around the globe, with the third edition taking place in Los Angeles in November 2018. Our aim is to provide a supportive platform for the exciting and challenging work that is outside the scope of mainstream film festivals and art galleries.
We welcome experimental cinema pieces (abstract, narrative or documentary), video art works, essay films, artists’ moving image and media art, as well as documentary and narrative films that seek to expand, redefine or reconfigure the means and ends of their respective fields. Experimental Forum exists to provide access to, and develop audiences for, artists’ moving image work and is committed to engaging local audiences with new and/or unheard voices in film.
We are particularly interested in works made by early stage filmmakers and artists whose work is underrepresented. We provide a collaborative platform for moving image works made for the gallery and for the cinema with the aim of building a community across disciplinary and institutional faultlines.
El LA Underground Film Forum (LAUFF) es el primer escaparate de experimentación en medios basados en cine, video y audio de Los Ángeles. Se centra en el cine vanguardista, art-house, independiente y de bajo presupuesto, con la quinta edición que tendrá lugar en julio de 2020, en Los Ángeles.
Nuestro programa ofrece un lugar para que los cineastas reinventen y exploren nuevos enfoques, fomenten nuevas formas de arte mediático y construyan una audiencia para este tipo de trabajo. Nuestro objetivo es presentar una amplia gama de trabajos explorando las múltiples definiciones e interpretaciones del concepto de «underground».
Buscamos películas hechas con pasión, obsesión y motivación; películas que vayan más allá de las expectativas y el género; películas, proyectos de vídeo y audio que se esfuercen por superar los límites de la forma y el contenido aceptados. Un fuerte sentido de autoría es una necesidad.
LAUFF acepta todas las formas y géneros: desde drama, documental, experimental, culto, art-house, lengua extranjera, comedia, terror, ciencia ficción, fantasía, animación, LGBT, indígena, erótica hasta cine lento y videoarte...
The festival is free of charge and intended for all children from primary and secondary schools who devote their free time to educating themselves in the arts of films or are involved in film clubs.
At the festival you can:
- participate by submitting your films that will be inspected by a special committee which will choose the best film in different categories
- take part in free morning film workshops led by renowned experts and
- watch films from your peers
The festival is meant to encourage, educate and provide an insight to youngsters into the process of creating a film. The young communicate their problems, fears, wishes and desires to us and the world precisely through the means of film language. This festival is also an opportunity for mentors to look into and compare with other schools and production companies.

Woodengate International Film Festival is based in the beautiful Maramures County, a place full of culture and where century-old traditions are still part of daily life.
WGIFF is an online film festival with live screenings whose aim is to showcase and promote the work of short film enthusiasts,emerging and established filmmakers from all over the world and help them receive recognition.
The festival runs in 2 semesters, selections being made every 6 months. We accept short films of every genre. Films entered in multiple categories are eligible to win several awards. El Certamen de Cortometrajes "Live Action" es un festival que pretende acoger las distintas formas de expresión de la cultura alternativa a través del audiovisual.
El XXV certamen de cortometrajes del AVILÉS ACCIÓN FILM FESTIVAL se celebrará entre el 10 y el 17 de octubre de 2026.
Podrán concurrir al certamen todas las personas mayores de 16 años, nacidas en España o con tarjeta de residencia en dicho país.
La participación en el certamen está abierta a los cortometrajes de producción y/o dirección española, salvo en la Sección Asturias, en la que el/la directora/a ó el/la productor/a deberá ser residente y/o nacido en el Principado de Asturias.

The Short Film Slam es un concurso bimensual presentado por The Madlab Post que se centra en proporcionar una plataforma para que cineastas emergentes y establecidos muestren su trabajo. En cada ronda, se proyectará una selección de hasta doce cortometrajes para el público local que votará su película favorita. La película mejor valorada en las proyecciones en directo será declarada «Película del mes» durante el mes siguiente. Las películas «en competición» mejor valoradas de cada sala de proyección en directo y en línea avanzarán a la ronda final. Cine en Grande nace en el año 2014 con el propósito de acercar la cinematografía argentina a la isla de Tierra del Fuego, generar encuentros entre profesionales y fomentar la industria audiovisual en la región.
Año tras año, se ha ido consolidando como un espacio clave para exhibir el contenido producido en la región y como encuentro entre los distintos profesionales del país.
Entre los años 2020 y 2022 el festival se vió interrumpido por la propagación del COVID-19 (Coronavirus) y este año retoma sus actividades presenciales.
