FESTIVAL INTERNACIONAL DE CINEMA ECOZINE — O Festival Internacional de Cinema Socioambiental, organizado pela Associação Cultural Ecozine, foi fundado em 2008 como uma plataforma de conscientização social e promoção cultural, defendendo o cinema como uma ferramenta de mudança.
Comprometida em mostrar e divulgar produções audiovisuais com conteúdo socioambiental.
Todos os anos, durante o mês de abril, a cidade de Bruxelas se torna a capital de todas as coisas fantásticas. O BIFFF, um dos maiores Festivais Internacionais de Cinema Fantástico do mundo (certamente o mais louco), exibe mais de 100 filmes durante sua maratona de 13 dias, desde fantasia a suspense, ficção científica, culto, terror, anime, experimental, underground, etc., dos quais cerca de 90 longas-metragens e 100 curtas-metragens em estreia mundial, internacional, europeia ou belga.

We are proud to present Jonas Georgakakis' "Saga of Biorn" a ferociously funny animated Nordic tale divulging the absolute truth about how one might earn the right to enter Valhalla. Then there is Javier Mrad's "Techopolis," an absolutely amazing 12min stop motion piece resembling Fritz Lang's Metropolis black and white film. This is the only show where so many entertaining films like these take the spotlight and are given full theatrical effect.
Before the "Festival of Animation" it was difficult to see independent, experimental, and foreign animation. Spike and Mike embarks on yearly world-wide film hunting expeditions. They have signed-on animation from the National Film Board of Canada, Cal Arts, Sheridan, Royal College of Art, Annecy, and select studios active amongst the art-house scene that at one time did not have a public venue. This Festival has come to be known as one of the most anticipated touring events on the circuit.
Initially, Spike and Mike produced the "Classic Festival" and later both the "Classic" and "Sick and Twisted" simultaneously- but by the early 2000s, the "Classic Festival of Animation" was phased into hiatus by the Sick and Twisted Festival (mainly featuring shorts venturing into the non sequitur e.g. "Lloyd's Lunchbox"). "The Festival" (meaning the current show) premieres a new cavalcade of adventurous films annually. Spike & Mike's "New Generation Animation" noted as the latest genre in animation, without question is now premiering the most captivating film-set of thought provoking concepts, humor, story, and daring production design in animation.
In animation, it is important to have an accurate gauge on the pulsating shifts in pop culture. Spike and Mike's content has evolved with the changing tastes of our times. The shows in their entirety have toured globally in theaters, film festivals (such as Cannes, Sundance, Annecy), college campuses, and dynamic events such as the Vans Warped Tour, the Winter X Games, and with the nu-metal band Korn.

The Just A Minute Festival é um evento online que incentiva as pessoas a fazer curtas-metragens, um minuto ou menos, usando qualquer dispositivo ou mídia de qualquer gênero ou assunto.

If you are a fiercely independent filmmaker producing small budget films or a screenwriter that can craft a script that can be shot on a small (less than a million dollar) budget, this festival is for you.
We are a festival run by Filmmakers, Professors of Film and Film Fans for Filmmakers, Film Students and Film Fans at all levels of expertise. This is a festival where recognition is generous and you are the Star no matter what role you played or how many roles you assumed, everyone is treated like a Rock Star. We roll out the red carpet for your premiere, allow time for Q & A following the screening, or the block of films if you are in the shorts category. We hold live readings of your screenplay with professional actors with you directing.
If you have special skills, you may be invited to moderate a panel or participate as a panelist. Festival Alumni also serve as Awards Presenters during the Bonehead Awards Gala.
FESTER is a regular film series in Los Angeles showcasing “Mindfuck Movies,” films that crawl inside your head and stay there like the memory of a fever dream.

O Short Film Slam é uma competição bimestral apresentada pelo The Madlab Post que se concentra em fornecer uma plataforma para cineastas emergentes e estabelecidos mostrarem seu trabalho. A cada rodada, uma seleção de até doze curtas-metragens será exibida para o público local que votará em seu filme favorito. The Topanga Film Festival programs short and feature films that challenge convention and tell stories that inspire new and original ways of seeing and understanding the world. Based in the beautiful, atmospheric surroundings of Topanga, TFF screens films to a unique and engaged Los Angeles community in an intimate setting – attendees include those in the film and music industry, environmentalists, foodies and the eccentric Topangan community.
After the successful launch of the Topanga Film Institute and CoLab space, TFF enters a new phase in its history, offering film makers and cinephiles a unique space to delve deeper into exploring visual storytelling methods and technologies, formats and styles. The Topanga Film Festival is a prime opportunity to enjoy a wealth of international and local content that ranges from creative to educationally empowering. We will display a selection of short films that go deep and push boundaries. We are looking for the best in short narratives, and documentary films that display curiosity and skill, and that surprise and inform us.

O Paris Art and Movie Awards hoje é o principal festival de cinema independente em Paris. Seu irmão gêmeo em Hollywood, o “HAMA” beneficia de uma rede incrível e internacional com o objetivo de apoiar os cineastas independentes.
