El Festival de Cine Dada Saheb Phalke es un festival sin fines de lucro, no comercial y el único festival de cine independiente de la India, establecido en el año 2011 en Delhi, NCR, con la misión de celebrar el cine y la obra de aspirantes a cineastas jóvenes, independientes y profesionales. El festival es importante para la industria cinematográfica india, ya que se organiza el 30 de abril de cada año para conmemorar el aniversario del nacimiento de Late.Shri. Dhundiraj Govind Phalke, considerado el padre del cine indio y recordado cariñosamente como Dada Saheb Phalke por las asociaciones cinematográficas de toda la India y del mundo. Su objetivo es reconocer el cine de la nueva era esclarecedor, entretenido y progresista de cineastas jóvenes y experimentados.

Hoy en día, el cine indio está tocando el cielo tanto en términos de contenido como de tecnología, pero vale la pena mencionar que lo inició el legendario Dada Saheb Phalke y solo estamos llevándolo adelante.
Fundado por Educationexpo TV, una empresa líder en investigación y creación de marcas de entretenimiento, y gestionado por Miniboxoffice, el Festival de Cine Dada Saheb Phalke de 26 años brinda a los cineastas la oportunidad de mostrar su creatividad. KloosterKino is the place to be for animated shorts in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. Three times a year we show the best animated shorts from all over the world in a friendly setting. The screenings take place in a historic cloister, which dates back to 1909, and are not subject to admission.
KloosterKino shows work by young filmmakers, but also pays attention to classic animated film. Throughout the year we also work with other festivals and cultural organizations to arrange screenings of animated shorts.
But why animated shorts? Well, first of all, because we love them! But also because too few animated shorts are shown theatrically in the Netherlands. KloosterKino wants to show animation in all its diversity: from stop-motion to CGI, from narrative to abstract, homegrown and from far away. In doing so, we hope to aid in the diffusion of the artistic animated short.
We intend to be an alternative to the larger animation festivals by offering screenings which are both accessible and challenging. We stand for high quality animated film in welcoming surroundings. Our target audience is not just the animation aficionado, but also those who normally don’t watch animation, but are open to a surprising and stimulating program of films.

¡El decimocuarto año incluirá nuevas incorporaciones y concursos! El Festival y Convención Internacional de Cine de Hoteles de Terror se celebra cada mes de junio en el noreste de Ohio. Tenemos concursos abiertos para películas y guiones de los siguientes géneros: experimental (solo cine), fantasía, terror, comedia de terror, slasher, ciencia ficción y suspenso. También aceptamos tráileres, vídeos musicales, programas piloto para televisión (película o guion) y episodios web (película o guion) para proyectos de los géneros listados.
También está abierta la competencia para nuestro concurso de bandas sonoras de películas de terror (inscripciones a través de nuestro sitio web). En el evento, también tenemos concursos de maquillaje en directo como Scream King/Scream Queen y FX.
Este año también celebraremos la segunda edición anual del concurso cinematográfico Room 237, en el que los cineastas competirán por crear una película en 30 días utilizando el arma asesina asignada durante una reunión inicial con Zoom. El evento incluye cuatro días de proyecciones de películas, dos días de mesas redondas y conferencias, una convención que comienza el viernes por la tarde, invitados especiales, fiestas de karaoke para establecer contactos, concursos en vivo y más.

La Mostra FIRE!! es el primer festival de cine de temática LGBT creado en nuestro país, en 1995, por el Casal Lambda de Barcelona. Aborda la diversidad afectiva en su sentido más amplio a través de una cuidada selección de largometrajes, documentales y cortometrajes. Cine de calidad, películas de autor y enfoque educativo son sus principales señas de identidad.
Durante dos semanas a principios del mes de junio —principalmente en el Instituto Francés, y otros espacios de la ciudad tanto cerrados como al aire libre—, un amplio abanico de público está invitado a disfrutar de este referente cultural de Barcelona, con historias y testimonios de personas libres, creadores que rompen barreras y luchadores por los derechos humanos que ayudan con el amor a construir un mundo más justo y más libre.
El nombre del festival es un homenaje a la revista neoyorquina homónima de finales de los años veinte, FIRE!!, dirigida por el escritor negro y homosexual Richard Bruce Nugent, retratado en una de las películas mas emblemáticas del festival, Brother to Brother, que proyectamos hace unos años.
The mission of the International Nature Film Festival is to raise the awareness of the public regarding to the protection and conservation of biological diversity, natural resources, values and beauties of the world with a special emphasis on Europe and the Carpathian Basin through the display of films connected to the topic. The festival brings a good opportunity for filmmakers, professionals and the public to meet and initiate conversation on these important issues through different meetings and conferences within the framework of the event and to enjoy nature films at the same time.

La Fundación Barcelona Olímpica, con el apoyo del Ayuntamiento de Barcelona, organiza la décimo sexta edición del BCN Sports Film – 16th BARCELONA INTERNATIONAL FICTS FESTIVAL, la cual forma parte del WORLD FICTS CHALLENGE - 2026.
El BCN Sports Film 2026 tendrá lugar en Barcelona en fechas aún por determinar durante el primer trimestre de 2026. En esta décimo sexta edición el festival tendrá carácter competitivo.
La décimo sexta edición del festival tendrá un formato híbrido. Habrá proyecciones presenciales y proyecciones mediante plataformas online. Los derechos que los autores cedan, por tanto, son tanto para las sesiones presenciales que se celebren en las sedes oficiales del certamen, como para las sesiones que se realicen de forma virtual, a través de las plataformas online.
Estas bases han sido aprobadas por el Comité Organizador del BCN Sports Film 2026. La participación en el BCN Sports Film 2026 supone la aceptación total de estas bases.
El Kicking + Screening Soccer Film Festival es la principal serie de eventos del mundo dedicada a este hermoso deporte.

A partir de 2020 hemos cancelado el premio en efectivo. En cambio, todas las películas seleccionadas para la competición Kinodot ahora tienen una cuota de proyección de $40. Para nosotros es una manera de expresar nuestro apoyo y aprecio a los cineastas, cuyo trabajo admiramos.
Inscripción y otros términos
El festival tendrá lugar en San Petersburgo en la segunda mitad de mayo de 2020 (las fechas exactas se anunciarán en enero). Se pueden enviar películas experimentales de cualquier duración, terminadas no antes del 15.01.2018.
La fecha límite para participar en el concurso Kinodot es el 28 de febrero. La cuota de inscripción es de $10. Kinodot es un festival independiente (hasta ahora, toca madera) y los gastos de inscripción son nuestra única fuente de financiación.
Al enviar la película a Kinodot Competition, los propietarios de los derechos de autor acuerdan que, si se selecciona, la película se proyectará hasta 4 veces durante el festival y hasta 2 veces más en los próximos dos años durante las proyecciones promocionales no comerciales de Kinodot.

La Historia
Kinodot fue lanzado en 2012 como festival de cortometrajes minimalistas online en kinodot.com. Con el tiempo, el proyecto se ha convertido en un festival internacional de cine experimental independiente con proyecciones en directo en salas de cine y lugares no convencionales en San Petersburgo, Rusia.
Originalmente, las películas presentadas a Kinodot tenían que coincidir al menos con uno de los cuatro criterios de selección*:
No Money - películas hechas sin un presupuesto;
No murmullo - películas sin diálogo o narración;
No Music - películas sin una partitura musical;
Sin montaje: películas realizadas sin edición, es decir, filmadas en una sola toma.
*Ya no es un requisito, sino un homenaje a la tradición. Sin embargo, en general, seguimos dando preferencia a las películas minimalistas.
Kinodot fue creado para apoyar y distribuir nuevas películas experimentales, e inspirar a los cineastas a experimentar a su manera. Promovemos la libertad de ideas, el formalismo, la simplicidad y la autorestricción en oposición a la producción cinematográfica secundaria y la autocensura de festivales de alto presupuesto. Creemos que una gran película se puede crear con medios muy básicos, sin educación especial ni equipos costosos. También creemos que crear y seguir un estricto conjunto de reglas formales puede tener un efecto liberador en cada artista.

Ransäter Filmfestival is short film festival that will be held for the 4th time 4-6 april 2019. Our main purpose is to bring quality short to the small village of Ransäter. We think that it´s important that everyone has the possibility to enjoy and experience film close to where you live so you don't need to go all the way to Stockholm-, Gothenburg- or Uppsala Filmfestivals.
The first day will be a workshop held by Kaisa El Ramly (won best short 2018) the workshop will be dedicated to aspiring young actors. The second day we will screen the selected shorts that are in competition. The third day we will have a retrospective with a director who made the difficult transition from short and feature. The price ceremony will also be held on the third day and we end the festival with a live music act
A jury of three will decide one winner and the audience will decide one winner. If you win you need to be present to receive the price money. At least two of the filmmakers that are selected will be invited to this years festival.
