Experimental Forum is an international performance, film and video art festival showcasing experimental film and artists’ moving image from new directors and innovative video artists from around the globe, with the third edition taking place in Los Angeles in November 2018. Our aim is to provide a supportive platform for the exciting and challenging work that is outside the scope of mainstream film festivals and art galleries.
We welcome experimental cinema pieces (abstract, narrative or documentary), video art works, essay films, artists’ moving image and media art, as well as documentary and narrative films that seek to expand, redefine or reconfigure the means and ends of their respective fields. Experimental Forum exists to provide access to, and develop audiences for, artists’ moving image work and is committed to engaging local audiences with new and/or unheard voices in film.
We are particularly interested in works made by early stage filmmakers and artists whose work is underrepresented. We provide a collaborative platform for moving image works made for the gallery and for the cinema with the aim of building a community across disciplinary and institutional faultlines.

Durante los últimos años el cine en México ha destacado internacionalmente en crítica y certámenes, sin embargo en el Estado de Campeche la industria cinematográfica carece de un desarrollo notable en comparación al resto del país. Con la finalidad de impulsar esta área artística el "Campeche Film Festival, Festival Internacional de Cine en Campeche" tiene como meta impulsar a los jóvenes con deseos de crear y dedicarse al cine donde destaque el trabajo de los campechanos, logrando a través de ello un pacto de confianza donde se demuestre que es posible realizar cine y posicionar a Campeche como un punto de encuentro de nuevos.

Com o passar dos anos, o festival se tornou uma celebração da animação para crianças e adultos. Os eventos são realizados em todos os centros regionais da Bielorrússia.
Para visualização, são organizadas exibições de filmes de programas competitivos e não competitivos, reuniões criativas com criadores de filmes de animação, master classes, exposições de artes plásticas, decorativas e aplicadas infantis.

Detroit’s Trinity International Film Festival. The festival takes place August 20-23, 2020 in beautiful Downtown Detroit at The Marlene Boll Theater, 1401 Broadway, Detroit, Michigan and The Carr Center Gallery. The 4-day event themed “FILM YOUR FUTURE” features an array of independent films, screenplays, workshops, The Future panel discussion and filmmakers from around the world. We are also hosting a Best screenplay competition, 2nd Annual Uncle Nearest Premium Whiskey 100 Proof! Red Carpet Award ceremony. We expect an audience of over 4500 people from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds to attend. This event will give your company a distinct marketing opportunity with this population in Detroit.
The TI Film Festival has hosted industry professionals locally and nationally to share their knowledge and expertise in various workshops and industry discussions. Special guests have included famed Actress and Producer, Tangi Miller, Syndicated Radio Host and Film Producer, Russ Parr, Former BET Executive Producer, Ralph Scott, currently with the Aspire Network (Owned by Magic Johnson), film segment producer/head of production for more than 100 episodes of SNL, Tanya Ryno and Writer, Director, Qasim Basir, “Destined,” and Actress/Singer Deborah Joy Winans of the acclaimed TV series “Greenleaf,” which airs on Oprah Winfrey’s OWN network.
The highlight of this event over the years has been all of the innovative work we've showcased by indie filmmakers and our audience that supports Detroit's TI Film Festival.

The Hudson Valley International Film Festival is a lifestyle that celebrates an interactive and contemporary experience, which will inspire, challenge, and enlighten viewers and participants alike. HVIFF is a contemporary festival, showcasing only current productions. All submissions must have completed filming after January 1st, 2015.
According to Fodor's Travel, The Hudson Valley is listed on the 25 places around the world to visit in 2015. With a rich historical background and breathtaking views, it's no wonder why Fodor's gave the nod to The Hudson Valley, located just north of New York City.
The newly renovated Monroe Arts & Civic Center, home of The Hudson Valley International Film Festival, is equipped with stadium style seating with three screens capable of displaying films, two theaters dedicated to filmmaker Q&A sessions and seminars, and an additional theater that will be utilized for events such as slam poetry and music.
Filmmakers are welcome to submit shorts, pilots, features, music videos, animation, one minute (and under) videos, and much more! The red carpet event will be sure to give a Hollywood feel to all participants.
The HVIFF is the haven for free thinkers, innovators, and pioneers of the arts community.

Discovery Film Festival: Festival Internacional de Cinema da Escócia para Jovens Públicos

Discovery Film Festival está agora em seu décimo nono ano. Baseado em Dundee Contemporary Arts, e em turnê para locais parceiros em toda a Escócia, Reino Unido e Irlanda, o festival exibe filmes de todo o mundo que foram especialmente programados para o público jovem.
O festival inclui três emocionantes fins de semana de filmes, atividades criativas e eventos de gala, além de duas semanas de exibições e eventos para escolas.
A Discovery visa desenvolver novos públicos para o melhor do cinema internacional, melhorar a alfabetização midiática e oferecer ao público jovem uma visão sobre a vida de crianças e jovens em outras culturas. O festival vem sendo executado desde 2004, quando começou como uma parceria com o Dundee Education Development Department, Scottish Screen e DCA.
Discovery Film Festival é um projeto DCA e é organizado por Mike Tait, Produtor do Festival e Diretor de Desenvolvimento de Jovens de Cinema. Uma equipe de Jovens Embaixadores (de 15 a 19 anos) trabalha com Mike para programar filmes e aconselhar sobre o design geral do festival. Uma equipe de professores e consultores de educação aconselha sobre o programa de educação e cria recursos relevantes Curriculum for Excellence para as aulas que visitam o festival.

Sicilymovie — Agrigento Film Festival é um festival de longas-metragens, curtas-metragens, documentários, videoclipes, curtas-metragens especiais e de animação, criado e organizado pela Southmovie Association, que foi criado com o objetivo de levar o cinema ao ar livre para todos ao coração da Sicília: o evocativo Vale dos Templos de Agrigento, uma cidade nomeada Capital Italiana da Cultura 2025. Os temas abordados nos trabalhos de diretores de todo o mundo são múltiplos e educacionais.
A nona edição do Sicilymovie é voltada para as melhores produções e distribuições de curtas-metragens e documentários do mundo que competirão pela Golden Demetra, a estatueta representativa do Festival que lembra a Grécia antiga, símbolo cultural da antiga Akragas, a cidade de Agrigento.
O projeto é apoiado e patrocinado pelo Parque Arqueológico e Paisagístico Valle dei Templi de Agrigento, pelo Município de Agrigento, pela Comissão de Cinema da Sicília e pelo Departamento de Turismo da Região da Sicília. O Parque Arqueológico e Paisagístico Valle dei Templi tem cerca de 1300 hectares de largura e aqui pertencem os restos da antiga cidade de Akragas e arredores até o mar. O Vale dos Templos foi declarado “Patrimônio Mundial” pela Unesco em 1997. Hoje, o Vale dos Templos tem mais de um milhão de visitantes por ano.

Espacio Queer is established as a cultural space guided by the queer theory. It’s a place for debate, reflection and artistic expresion to developes open activities about sexual diversity and gender.
Our search focuses on finding and promoting artistic works that expose a queer point of view which doesn’t establish stereotypes but opens for analysis and reflection. A view where to be a lesbian, bisexual, gay, transexual or intersexual is not a pose, fashion or, still less, a label, but an identity built up constantly wihout static or normaive parameters.
Located in La Plata city, this festival includes proyections of feature-films and short-films, official copetetion and showcase sections, debates, workshops, visual arts exhibitions and live music. In its 3rd edition, Espacio Queer will take place on November of this year.

The Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival, celebrating its 26th Anniversary October 6th-October 15th is the oldest non-fiction festival in North America.
