Traditionell umfasst Queens World ein gut besuchtes mehrtägiges jährliches Filmfestival, ganzjährige Vorführmöglichkeiten für QWFF Alumni, besondere Veranstaltungen, um die Indie-Film-Community zusammenzubringen und eine Bildungsinitiative für Jugendliche und Senioren. Genau wie alle anderen halten wir sie fließend und reagieren auf die Bedürfnisse der Indie-Film-Community.
Das 10. Jahresfest fand vom 19. bis 29. März 2020 im Museum of Moving Image und im Zukor Theater in den Kaufman-Astoria Studios statt. Als wir am 16. März geschlossen waren, änderten wir den Kurs und öffneten pünktlich - online - mit 191 Filmen aus 32 Nationen, die über 30.000 Aufrufe erhielten.
Nach dem Festival Queens World poduced Wednesday Nights @9, 19 wöchentliche Live-Übertragungen, die Einzelpersonen und Organisationen als unseren „Held der Woche“ identifiziert. Zu ihren Ehren haben wir einen Block von Filmen von Filmemachern kuratiert, die zu ähnlichen Themen arbeiteten, die von Sonntag bis Sonntag auf Vimeo liefen. Am Mittwochabend haben wir die Helden und die Filmemacher der Woche versammelten, um ihre Arbeit zu besprechen. Wir liefen 19 Wochen lang und sammelten mehr als 19.000 Ansichten.
In Vorbereitung auf das Q11 arbeiten wir mit unseren Locations und unseren Partnern zusammen, um alle verfügbaren Ressourcen für das Festival zu maximieren. Wir nutzen unsere thematische Programmierung, gruppieren Filme zusammen, um spezifische filmische Erlebnisse zu kreieren und jede Vorführung wird von Filmemaker Q&As begleitet. Unsere Pläne für Juni 2021 beinhalten sowohl ein virtuelles als auch ein Live-Event mit einigen sehr spannenden globalen Elementen, die wir zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt mit Ihnen teilen werden.
Während dies eine harte Zeit auf unserem Planeten ist, ist jetzt nicht die Zeit, aufzuhören zu kommunizieren, aufzuhören, nach dem zu suchen, was uns heilen wird, oder aufzuhören, sich zu versammeln. Queens World bleibt konzentriert auf Ideen, Geschichten mit Herz, Filme mit einem Standpunkt und Künstler, die Herausforderung..

Voces Contra el Silencio, Video Independiente A.C., die Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana, laden mit Unterstützung von TV UNAM und dem UNAM-Filmarchiv Filmemacher ein, an der vierzehnten Ausgabe der Hispano-American Independent Documentary Film and Video Encounter teilzunehmen: Contra el Silencio Todas las Voces, die vom 4. bis 12. September 2026 in Mexiko-Stadt und in verschiedenen Staaten in der gesamten mexikanischen Republik, in einem Hybridformat.
Das Hauptziel von Contra el Silencio Todas las Voces ist es, als Fenster zu dienen, das unabhängige Dokumentarfilme aus Mexiko, Lateinamerika und Spanien durch freie, zugängliche und offene Räume zusammenbringt, die eine Vielfalt von Perspektiven beinhalten, kollektives Handeln fördern und kollaborative Netzwerke fördern, um die Entwicklung des Dokumentarfilms und den Aufbau einer gerechteren, gerechteren und toleranteren Gesellschaft zu unterstützen.

Held among the spectacular rivers and bluffs of the Driftless Region in Northeastern Iowa, the Oneota Film Festival, OFF, brings compelling, innovative, and inspiring films and filmmakers to Decorah, Iowa. Through film and other media that illuminate the human condition, OFF aims to engage a large and diverse audience in the critical issues of our time.
OFF invites documentary, narrative, animated, web/tv/new media series epicodes and student films for its 9th annual festival April 19-22, 2018. All films submitted will be juried by an international panel of filmmakers and film scholars. Festival events include: screenings of 50+ films, discussions, and panels with invited filmmakers and local/regional experts; an opening night Gala; Filmmakers Reception Saturday evening; and special events in conjunction with host Luther College and the Decorah community.

Das Censurados Film Festival ist ein internationales Filmfestival, das „die Filme zeigt und bewirbt, von denen sie nicht wollen, dass du sie siehst“. Das in Peru gegründete Festival verfügt über mehr als zwölf Jahre Erfahrung und hat sich als wichtige Plattform für die Verteidigung der Meinungsfreiheit, der Menschenrechte und der kulturellen Vielfalt durch das Kino etabliert.

Dieser Abschnitt ist Filmen gewidmet, die zensiert oder verboten wurden oder auf Hindernisse, Druck, Bedrohungen oder jegliche Form von Gewalt gestoßen sind, die ihre Entwicklung oder Verbreitung beeinträchtigt haben.
Filme aller Genres — Fiktion, Dokumentarfilm, Animation oder Experiment — von überall auf der Welt können teilnehmen, sofern sie in jeder Phase des Filmemachens, von der Recherche und Konzeptentwicklung über das Schreiben, die Produktion, den Dreh und die Postproduktion bis hin zu ihrer Ausstellung, ihrem Vertrieb oder ihrer öffentlichen Verbreitung, Zensur oder Einmischung ausgesetzt waren.
Die Bewerber müssen nachprüfbare Informationen vorlegen, die die Situation der Zensur, des Drucks, der Bedrohung oder des Konflikts belegen, die sich auf die Arbeit ausgewirkt haben.

Purpose of the Festival
FICAE - Diseases International Short Film and Art Festival opens the 4th edition of the Festival (4FICAE). It is open to all creators of audiovisual content that want to show their short films in all type of cinematographic genres whose main theme is directly related to some type of disease or health issues.
The purpose of this festival is to promote social awareness about diseases as a process of life in order to help destigmatize them. In addition, the festival seeks to promote artistic creation through audiovisual language to make it more visible and transmit knowledge about diseases, both those that involve changes to the health state, and those that are considered as social diseases and their consequences.
