The people who get accepted into the big festivals are so rarely the little guy/girl, and it's basically a circle jerk of only those who have a big name or star attached getting in.
You hate that, and I hate that. That's why this this is built by filmmakers, in fact, we just completed our first feature which premiered at TIFF Lightbox last year.
We don't discriminate in genre, in length, in anything asides from "How good is your god damned film?"
You already have a lot debt and a lot of disappointments as an indie. Maybe you get accepted at a festival that shows your work some where in some guy's basement, but does that really matter in the end?
What about getting screened at the "BIG SCREEN", having your name on the Marquee?
When will making your short actually translate to MAKING IT in the business?
We're filmmakers too here at indiefilmTO which is why we've designed this from the ground up for filmmakers who are ready to take that next step.
indiefilmTO Festival was founded in 2015, and screened at TIFF (Toronto International Film Festival) Bell Lightbox, since we know how important the VENUE is to filmmakers.
Be we don't stop there. We invite industry producers and Executive producers to come to the screening, to mingle, so you get a chance to get your film in front of the eyes of those who matter.
This year, we will again be screened at TIFF (350 King St. W, Toronto ON) in Nov / Dec 2017.

The Atlanta Comedy Film Festival is a unique forum for comedy filmmakers and television producers from all over the world to showcase their creative works in Atlanta, Georgia. The Atlanta Comedy Film Festival showcases short comedy films, web series, funny music videos, commercials (Under 30 minutes) from all over the world, in HD. Accepted films will be screened in a back-to-back, fast-paced format for a comedy film loving audience. The awards ceremony will take place at the end of the program that will recognize filmmakers for their creative work. Currently, this festival is not accepting feature length films.

En medio de la indiferencia y apatía de un mundo hipercomunicado, el Colectivo Fílmico G/A propone por segundo año consecutivo, la plataforma de proyección cinematográfica Cámara Lúcida, enfocada en la muestra y difusión de cine de autor, experimental, no ficción, periférico y contracultural.
El objetivo de este encuentro cinematográfico plantea crear un espacio de empatía, donde como autores y espectadores podamos escucharnos y saber del otro, de sus investigaciones y preocupaciones. Esperamos que la sala de cine florezca como lugar creador de complicidades de un andar, de una forma de ver o entender el mundo, un lugar en que la vinculación entre el autor y el espectador nos permita soñar juntos.
Fieles a nuestra decisión inicial decidimos fundar este espacio de proyección mostrando aquellas obras fílmicas que plasman la realidad que nos enmaraña; la confrontan y la ayudan a transformarse.
Cámara Lúcida decide apoyar a los autores que reconocen y proponen nuevas narrativas desde sí mismos y en medio de su cohabitar con la realidad, a las películas que reinterpretan y plastifican la realidad, el cine que resignifica al cine día a día.
Esperamos ser un espacio que supere las censuras y prejuicios en el quehacer cinematográfico y sus temas. Apoyamos a los autores que no le temen a los nuevos formatos y su movimiento, a sus temas y su tratamiento, cine en constante mutación e irresistible transformación, es decir, cine libre.

Semillero Green Film Fest 2020 es la 10º edición del Concurso Nacional de Cortometrajes de Temática Ambiental. Su objetivo principal es fomentar la creatividad y apoyar la realización nacional independiente de obras audiovisuales cuyo contenido esté referido a la temática ambiental.
El concurso posee dos categorías de participación:
SEMILLERO
Incluye a todas aquellas personas residentes en la Argentina, con domicilio acreditable en el país, o de nacionalidad argentina y que residan en el exterior, mayores de 18 años, a través de la presentación de una o más obras.
SEMILLERITO
Incluye a todos los niños y niñas de nacionalidad argentina de entre 5 y 13 años, que estudien en las escuelas de educación primaria de todo el país, a través de la presentación de una o más obras. Se podrán presentar también las escuelas primarias de todo el país, tanto de gestión pública como privada.
SHORTS en TRANSILVANIA
Sabemos lo difícil que puede ser para los cineastas producir y distribuir sus obras, especialmente si se trata de cortometrajes y producciones independientes. TRANSILVANIA SHORTS [Festival Internacional de Cortometrajes] es una herramienta útil para que todos los cineastas puedan seguir exhibiendo sus películas y obtener la opinión y el reconocimiento del público que se merecen. Además, las películas seleccionadas en la competición del festival son promocionadas, proyectadas en el festival y evaluadas por un equipo de expertos del sector. Transilvania Shorts ayuda a los cineastas a conseguir el reconocimiento del público apasionado por el cine y los medios de comunicación y, además, a ser recompensados por su trabajo.
¡Venga a celebrar y compartir su pasión por el cine! Transilvania Shorts, que se celebra en hermosas ciudades medievales como Cluj-Napoca, Sibiu, Brașov y Târgu Mureș, trae cortometrajes de todo el mundo a la hermosa Transilvania. En el futuro, el festival se ampliará para estar presente en las principales ciudades de Transilvania. This is our 12th Year running Jewish Film Festivals. Veteran Film Festival Directors Wendy Honig, Lesley Rich and Arleen Roberts invite you to join our new International Jewish Film Festival. We started our Jewish film adventure in 2014 at the Palm Beach International Film Festival, moving our group of dedicated screeners and patrons thereafter in 2017 to create the Boca Raton Jewish Film Festival with a commitment to grow the festival into one of the largest in the nation, and thereafter becoming the 2nd largest in the US in 2023.
WE DO NOT CHARGE A SUBMISSION FEE, UNLIKE OTHER MAJOR FESTIVALS IN FLORIDA. One of our purposes is to support filmmakers to get exposure for their films and find distribution opportunities.
We have now expanded to become a new International Jewish Film Festival that will be held in February and March with film programs planned year-round. Our large selection of exciting premiere films will be screened at Cinemark Palace 20 and Movies of Delray and Lake Worth. The Festival is a 501(c)3 charity organization formed as a celebration of Jewish / Israeli cinema. It is a gathering of filmmakers, film enthusiasts, and industry professionals who come together to appreciate and showcase the art of filmmaking. We reach out, excite and bring together our community with and through the power of films that showcase Jewish spirit, culture, traditions and humor.
The Festival features many World and US Premieres. The Festival is proud to introduce new films and filmmakers to distributors and its audiences, including both full length and short films. The Festival is run by Wendy Honig and Lesley Rich

The Òmnium Film Festival is an annual program that recognizes and promotes the best audiovisual productions in Catalan, offering audiences the finest Catalan-language cinema of the year with the aim of encouraging greater consumption of films in Catalan.
The festival takes place simultaneously with more than 160 screenings in 90 venues across the Catalan-speaking territories, as well as screenings in 35 cities around the world.
It concludes between March and September with screenings in schools and high schools through the Educational Program, digital platform releases (Filmin and 3Cat), and presence at parallel festivals and showcases such as Sala Montjuïc or the Gaudí Cycle.
In addition, the festival strengthens connections with the industry through training resources, networking opportunities, and professional spaces for promotion and reflection, in collaboration with key industry players such as ICEC, the Catalan Film Academy, and 3Cat.

La Muestra de Cine y Creatividad del Centro Botín nació en 2015 con el objetivo de acercar al público el cine en formato corto al aire libre. A partir de la X edición se realiza en colaboración con la productora Sincio de Pelis.
El Centro Botín es un centro de arte internacional con una misión social: aprovechar la capacidad de las artes para potenciar la creatividad de sus visitantes, contribuyendo al desarrollo cultural, económico y social.
El cine nos hace reflexionar, empatizar con los personajes y las historias que cuenta y vivir nuevas experiencias. Nos emociona y ayuda a ampliar y cambiar nuestra mirada. Una mirada nueva a lo que nos rodea es el punto de partida para activar nuestra creatividad y buscar nuevas formas de hacer las cosas.
La undécima edición de la Muestra de Cine y Creatividad del Centro Botín, se celebrará en Santander los días 19, 20 y 21 de agosto de 2025 en distintas sedes. Organizada por el Centro Botín y Sincio de Pelis cuenta con el patrocinio del Ayuntamiento de Santander y la Consejería de Cultura, Turismo y Deporte del Gobierno de Cantabria.
En esta muestra podrán participar personas, físicas o jurídicas, que presenten cortometrajes de producción en España en los que la creatividad esté presente, tanto a través de su ejecución y formato, como a través de las historias que acontezcan a los personajes protagonistas y la forma de gestionar las situaciones a las que se enfrenten.
El Festival Internacional de Cine Corto de Cali, con la apertura de su convocatoria, busca servir de espacio para la exhibición de cortometrajes profesionales y universitarios de la ciudad de Cali y el mundo para ser un lugar de encuentro entre los nuevos realizadores y los profesionales del cortometraje.
El XVII Festival Internacional de Cine Corto de Cali tendrá lugar del 23 al 26 de septiembre de 2025, en la ciudad de Santiago de Cali, Colombia.
La convocatoria para las secciones competitivas del festival, estarán abiertas desde el 20 de marzo del 2025 y cerraremos el plazo de inscripción a la medianoche del 31 de mayo del 2025, hora local colombiana (UTC-5).
Las películas enviadas a las secciones: Selección Oficial Nacional, Selección Oficial Nacional Universitaria, Selección Oficial Internacional y Selección Oficial Internacional Universitaria, deben haber sido terminadas después del 15 de enero del 2024.
