NOFI is a multi stage International Festival of New and Original Films. It was founded by the Center of American New Cinema and Arts (CANCA). The preliminary stages take place in Russia, Sweden and Armenia while the final stage is taking place in USA (Los Angeles). Each year an estimated 1000 independent and student films participate in the NOFI festivals from 60 countries. We have representatives in 10 countries including USA, Russia, Sweden, Armenia, Belarus, UK,Belgium, Holland, Arab Emirates and Philippines.
The goal of the NOFI festivals is to find and invite talented film directors to NOFI film studying and producing programs for shooting their films with the help of our sponsors and grants. We then represent, promote and will try to sell the best films from NOFI in the American Film Market, Cannes film market, Amazon, Netflix, Hulu and other markets. Winning films can also participate in NOFI sister’s film festivals in Korea, Poland, Germany, Estonia, Russia and Armenia. The winners from each category and diplomas of honor can have the opportunity to show their films (edited versions) at our NOFI film festival on YouTube channel. The best actors from the best films can join our “Accent” International Talent Management. Also the trailers of the awarded films will be in our web site for years, providing more exposure. Our festival helps expose new and emerging directors and actors. NOFI festivals give them an opportunity to present their names in motion pictures studios and be discovered in the film industry worldwide. NOFI is designed to showcase innovative work by new filmmakers who may (or may not) have been overlooked by other festivals. We organize forums and round tables with filmmakers during the NOFI festivals to understand their needs, help solve common problems with film production and discuss their future projects. Since 2003 the international Festival SIGNES DE NUIT is active in Paris, Berlin, Saarbrücken and with special screenings world wide. The festival in Paris actually presents around 300 films coming from around 50 countries at different places in Paris. In Berlin the festival will be performed in the legendary cinema Babylon.

The Vieques International Film Festival 2017 is designed to provide exposure to filmmakers of Puerto Rican, Hispanic, and Latino heritage. As a privately held public event created by the Brittany Dance, Film & Theatre Foundation (a Federal 501(c)3 non-profit bringing Arts education in dance, film, and theatre to the people of Vieques), all proceeds aside from the costs of running the Festival will go directly towards the operation of the Brittany and to continuing to bring more and more classes in the Arts to the local population. It is the hope that The Vieques International Film Festival will become an annual event and that it will help bring light to the possibility of the Arts world to those on the Island whom have not yet had the opportunity to experience it, furthering the goals of providing learning and personal growth through the Arts to all on the Island who wish to have access to it.
The Land of All Film Festival was born in 2007 from the need to give the word to many documentarians who use video as a form of critical expression, as a torch on the world and on the problems that affect the many southern parts of the world in each country. Promoted by the Non-Governmental Organizations of International Cooperation for Development WeWorld GVC Onlus and COSPE Onlus, the TTFF brings to Bologna documentaries and social cinema from the south of the world, with the aim of giving visibility to the reality of those countries, peoples and social struggles that are "invisible" in the mass media.
Participants in the festival are the audiovisual works of medium and short films whose narrative cut is centered on the struggle for equality of rights, gender, defense of freedom, active citizenship, environmental and ecological awareness.

Ahora en su decimocuarta edición, el Festival de Cine del Noreste presenta las mejores películas independientes de cineastas, así como nuevos talentos. La amplia gama de películas, seleccionadas por un comité, incluye largometrajes y cortometrajes de todos los géneros, así como documentales y guiones. El festival se celebra en Teaneck, Nueva Jersey, en los históricos Teaneck Cinemas, y se han programado fiestas para dar el pistoletazo de salida al festival con estilo y espíritu. El principal objetivo es ofrecer la oportunidad a jóvenes y profesionales con talento de toda Latinoamérica y mundo hispano en ese mundo profesional. Es sabida la existencia de un hueco entre la etapa de formación y la entrada al mundo profesional cinematográfico. Lo que pretendemos es superar este vacío trabajando en algo fundamental que va más allá de la técnica o el estilo, nos centramos en los factores para que un proyecto tenga viabilidad y se convierta en una realidad.
Consideramos que el audiovisual en Latinoamérica ha experimentado en los últimos años un enorme desarrollo, no en cuanto al talento, que siempre ha estado ahí, sino en cuanto a la creación de una industria capaz de generar obras de calidad. Es gratamente sorprendente descubrir contenidos latinoamericanos en festivales, donde además ganan premios y reconocimientos.
También es creciente el interés de los productores europeos por coproducir con Latinoamérica. Esta situación no existía hace apenas algunos años. Sin embargo, creemos que uno de los problemas a los que se enfrenta el audiovisual en Latinoamérica es la dificultad para dar a conocer y posicionar el talento y los proyectos en el exterior. Éste es uno de los motivos fundamentales por los que decidimos poneros en marcha, dinamizar estos trabajos, ayudar a que circulen por festivales y mercados, que encuentren la manera de financiarse y que se puedan compartir con el mayor número de espectadores posibles.

Fidé es un festival en Francia que está completamente dedicado al documental estudiantil internacional. Se trata de cualquier trabajo filmado, sonoro o multimedia apoyado en la realidad y realizado durante los estudios del director. Participan en ella universidades, escuelas, talleres y estudiantes de todo el mundo, para unos 600 documentales registrados cada año. Sus principios son los de la promoción y la celebración de las creaciones estudiantiles, excepto los circuitos habituales, en los que rara vez encuentran su lugar.

Abierto el plazo para poder inscribirse en el XXIV Certamen Internacional de Cortometrajes “El Pecado 2025”. El festival otorga casi 5.000€ en metálico y cinco jamones pata negra extremeños: 1.500 euros para el cortometraje ganador de ficción y 700 euros para los otros cuatro premios principales. El plazo para poder inscribirse es desde el día martes 1 de abril hasta el viernes 23 de mayo del presente año. La duración no será superior a 20 minutos (21 incluidos créditos). Si tiene sonido hablado se utilizará el castellano o subtítulos en este idioma.

El festival cuenta con el sello de «Festival Amigo» de los Premios Fugaz. Es un festival consolidado y con solera por el que han pasado los mejores cortometrajes que se han realizado en España y fuera de nuestro país en los últimos 24 años. En la pasada edición de 2024 se inscribieron 1093 cortometrajes a concurso, 794 cortometrajes españoles y 299 cortometrajes de 48 países de todo el mundo. Tuvo una afluencia de público de unas 5.000 personas en los diferentes actos del festival. Más de 85.000 personas han acudido como público a sus diferentes ediciones, en las que se han inscrito unos 12.000 cortometrajes.

Get Reel is a film festival that aims to uncover the greatest new film-making talent, in Australia and New Zealand, by asking entrants to produce a film, less than 10 minutes in length, responding to a specific theme. The festival promotes creativity and has attracted over 1,650 to date. This year's theme will be Time to Talk.
In 2016, the theme for the festival was Being Seen. After whittling down all of the entries over 180 attendees enjoyed the Top Ten films, as voted for by our film industry judging panel including Andrew Morley, Danielle Cormack, Jessica Grace Smith and Socratis Otto, at a Grand Final screening.
The Top Ten finalist screening provided a thought provoking night of entertainment with all funds raised going to Suicide Prevention Australia.
