Choreoscope is the International Dance Film Festival of Barcelona. A unique event dedicated not only to those passionate about dance, but also to those who enjoy quality cinema. Born in 2013, with three full-house celebrated events, our goal is to promote the strong ties with art in general and with film and dance in particular.
Movies do not know any boundaries. Dance does not either. There is a common language joining them. The universal language of movement. Choreoscope ́s mission is to connect this fascinating language with an audience eager to experience something new, different, something special. Choreoscope Barcelona is the dance film festival of those who go one step further.
Cartoon Club – International Festival of Animation Cinema, Comics and Games, now at its 40th edition, is one of the best known festivals on the Italian scene.
It is a remarkable window for animation works, short films in particular – fiction, educational, experimental, computer graphic – and with a whole section solely dedicated to comics: Riminicomix.
The Festival features SHORT ANIMATED FILMS in various sections:
CARTOON CLUB AWARD, open to short animated films made by professional filmmakers and production companies.
SIGNOR ROSSI AWARD, open to animated films made by secondary school and university students, and by the students of animation film schools.
CARTOON KIDS AWARD, among the titles submitted to either Cartoon Club Award or to Signor Rossi Award, the Festival direction will select, at their own discretion, some short animated films aimed at a children’s audience. An all-children’s jury will select the winner among these films.
INTERNATIONAL PANORAMA, a non-competitive section open to European and non-European animated short films.
CARTOON JUNIOR AWARD, open to short animated films realized within workshops for children, in Italy or abroad.

The festival takes place in Rimini in various locations, from downtown to the beach, in the month of July.
The International Gay, Lesbian Trans Film Festival of Lima - the OutfestPerú - opens its call for the XXI edition and films of all nationalities whose theme is LGBTIQ, and which are eligible for the various sections of the festival can participate in it: Feature films ( Official Section and International Panorama), Short Films Section either Documentary or Fiction and Video Art (Official and Panorama). The works must not have been exhibited in commercial theaters, broadcast on TV or be available to the public on the Internet or other windows in Peruvian territory prior to the celebration of the festival and must have copyright after 2023. Feature films and short films must preferably be unpublished in Peru, although this is not exclusive but will be valued very positively. 1) Fantasy Short Films
The film seeks to bring, from the union of different narratives, enclosed in five short films, a possibility of using fear and mystery as a way of expressing feelings. The horror, suspense and science fiction genres travel on the psychological, questioning human fears and rules, related through the contemporary and the anxieties that arise with modern life.
2) Water Short Films
Water as a metaphor, capable of narrating people's deepest feelings. The water does not hesitate. It follows a descending path, looking for the depth, always attached to the earth, and meets up with more water because its course flows into the depths. Know the cracks in the rocks and the interior of each of our cells. But water also knows the highest mountains, those that it covers with snow and then with ice.
