The FestiBaldo was born with great enthusiasm and also a lot of effort, in the Sant Roc neighborhood (Badalona), in 2022. It is a festival organized by the 4th year ESO students of the Institut Escola Baldomer Solà.
Given that we, the 4th year ESO students, are at the end of the road at this educational stage, we are faced with concerns, fears and many doubts about the future, so we would like to see the representation of adolescents who are in the same situation as us.
Coming together to explore new cultures and celebrate creativity will always be important and VIFFMP is the perfect medium for that. Visual literacy is an aptitude for this century and VIFFMP brings together the highest-quality stories to learn from. VIFFMP exists to inspire audiences and keep the excitement alive for cinematic experiences.
VIFFMP is a meeting place for filmmakers and people who are interested in the world in its variety, different approaches to life, film as an art form, a medium and a tool of social expression. VIFFMP offers filmmakers a platform to introduce their work and discuss topics shown in the film as well as the filmmaking process. Helping at the frontline of an increasingly polarized world. Our mission is to seek out and unearth fresh talent in the art of filmmaking from across the globe. We aim to showcase and endorse top-tier independent short films, regardless of their origin, production year or budget. Our ultimate goal is to encourage and inspire auteurs everywhere.
Ural Shorts consists of four Seasons and Annual Award Event. Every Season the selection committee watches privately the submitted short films and chooses the Official Selections. All selected films enter the competition for the Season Awards.
Within 10 days after the Official Selection list is published the jury announces the Season Winners. The winning films enter the Screening Program in cinemas and on television for all to see.
All Season winners enter the competition for the Annual Awards in 18 nominations corresponding to the Main and Technical and Performances categories. And receive an invitation to the Annual Award Event.
The Ural Shorts Annual Event takes place in August in the 300-year-old city of Nizhny Tagil, on the border of Europe and Asia, which is called the "Russian Manchester" in the middle of the Ural Mountains. Annual Award Event consists of a cultural and educational program, the annual awards ceremony, screenings, TV interviews, workshops, and other activities.
“Cine Chicu Short Film Festival”, organized annually by the “Instituto de Cultura y Turismo de Tenjo - IMCTT”, is an event dedicated to the exhibition of short audiovisual films that allows the public to approach and enjoy the creativity and diversity of cinematographic language, while providing scenarios for meeting, reflection and training around the audiovisual.
The fifth edition of the festival will take place between December 6 to 11, 2024 in an itinerant manner in Tenjo - Cundinamarca under the slogan “A crossing for the protection of life”, focusing - without being exclusive- on works related to the environment and ecology, which promote, in a creative way, the respect and care of ecosystems.
Audiovisual works will be received about free themes and genres between 3 and 30 minutes long, produced from 2022 onwards that have not been awarded in Cundinamarca, Colombia.

Pequecinema is a Touring Children's Film Festival that in 2025 will visit several towns across Spain, showcasing the best short films aimed at a young audience (from 2 to 15 years old).

The International Short Film Festival of Les Corts is a film event organized by the students of the Cultural Management Research Project of Les Corts High School, with the support of professionals from the cultural field of Barcelona.
The screenings will take place in different places: at the Centre Cívic Josep Maria Trias i Peitx, at the Centre Cívic Pere IV of Les Corts, at the Espai Jove La Panarra and at the District's headquarters, Plaza Comas, during the months of May and June 2025.
The Festival awards two prizes: an audience award for the best Catalan-produced short film and an audience award for the best international-produced short film.
The award-winning short films will be programmed (with the prior acceptance of their authors) in the Pantalla Barcelona cycle of the Barcelona City Council, at the Centre Cívic Josep Maria Trias i Peitx and at the headquarters of the District. Both screenings will be in open-air cinema format.

Because we know that every second is important, this is a celebration of small short films, small projects that leave us with enormous emotions and diverse sensations. In this edition, it is contemplated that the works selected in the teen competing categories will be screened, scheduled and viewed in three modalities:
1. Screening of the official selection in at least four cultural spaces located in Mexico City.
2. The Official Selection will be hosted on the Retina Latina streaming platform, and Wahu Streaming.
The winning works of each category in competition will be screened in a cultural venue in Bogota, Colombia. Place and date to be confirmed.
The works selected in the Alternative Films will be programmed streaming on the festival's social networks and on Wahu, streaming platform.
The origin of Diminuto is referred to the online workshops: Short films taught in the last year by Aarón Álvarez, the director of the festival. In them, the concept of brevity and the ideology that allows highlighting the creative processes of the authors are promoted. Some works that were part of the Official selection and the Alternative films of the first edition were produced in these workshops.
Complementary to the exhibitions, programming and visualizations, the workshops will be given: Short films, short formats (level 1 and 2), there will be talks and master classes with specialists in cinematography, these activities will be carried out online, they are planned for the attendees and the interested public, seeking to promote new authors. Special online activities will be held for the authors of the winning short films in each category and the honorable mentions.
