SHORTS in TRANSILVANIA
We know how hard it may be, for filmmakers, to produce and distribute their works, especially if those are short films and independent productions. TRANSILVANIA SHORTS [International Short Film Festival] is the useful tool for every filmmaker, in order to further showcase their films, and get their deserved public feedback and recognition. The films selected in the festival competition are further on promoted, screened at the festival, and evaluated by a team of experts in the industry. Transilvania Shorts supports filmmakers in gaining the recognition of the public passionate about cinema, and that of mass-media, and, also, in being rewarded for their work.
Come celebrate and share your passion for cinema! Held in beautiful and medieval cities like Cluj-Napoca, Sibiu, Braṣov, and Târgu Mureș, Transilvania Shorts brings short films, from all over the world, to beautiful Transilvania. In the future, the festival will be extended, in order to be present in all major cities of Transilvania. This year’s Festival Program will showcase a wide variety of international short films, in the categories of: Narrative, Animation, Student, Commercial Video, Documentary, Experimental, Music Video, Stop-Motion.
The sole purpose of BEFF is to develop a film culture that inspires and brings together all types of film makers, irrespective of their film making genre. BEFF also aims to appreciate and promote creativity in all forms, be it a film or photography to the world and to a diversified audience.
The event is a glamorous red carpet event in Kolkata. The participants have excellent opportunities to exchange their ideas, ideologies and cultural innuendos. The winners have a chance to meet with the audience after screening.
The People's Film Festival, a dynamic three-day event that celebrates the Voice of the People through the power of film, art and technology. Our festival takes place from May 29, 2025 to May 31, 2025 in Harlem, NY, and features films from around the globe.

Our festival is held in Harlem, NY, a thriving and vibrant community with rich cultural history. It is an ultimate synergy of great music, literature, arts, and entertainment also collectively known as The Harlem Renaissance. Filmmakers and filmgoers come together each year to actively share information, break bread, and build relationships.
The People’s Film Festival is a great initiative of The People’s Media, Music & Arts Foundation (TPMMAF) - a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation. We use our platform to promote awareness of independent film, technology, media, music, and art across the globe while encouraging those, particularly in the Harlem New York area, to develop a greater appreciation and understanding of cultural diversity in media.

The Fail Film Festival is an educational and therapeutic space that invites amateur and experienced filmmakers to accept and share their failure stories: their most intimate projects full of effort, honesty, and learning; aiming for the festival to be a constant networking space between members of the industry, since, despite the growing number of members and the creation of audiovisual projects in our country, the connection between them is scarce. If we want to become a true industry, we must first be a community; And for that to happen, we must begin to experiment, innovate and collaborate with each other.
OBJECTIVES
Demystifying the negative connotation of failure within the creative process, and is inherent and necessary for our learning and improvement both personally, and professionally.
From the management position to the assistants (in all its varieties), bring them together to share their work experiences and their learning process, with the aim of giving them visibility and recognizing their importance within an audiovisual production.

We are a collective of filmmakers at Logroño, Spain, our target it is to fight against hate and racism with our festival, open to shortfilms and videoclips.
FILMAY 2025 will be the 7th edition of the short film festival held in Kumanovo.
The festival started in 2019, following the idea for inspiring, supporting and enhancing short film production.

The 14th edition which was to take place from April 27 to May 2 has been postponed to November 9. Documentaries, fictions, clips, concerts, meet and greets, DJ sets, viewings, record fair, presentations... Rock this Town of Pau is the first International Music Film Festival of its kind in France. It explores rock and current music at length. Documentaries, fictions, shorts films, biopics are shown on the big screen in an ever-changing festival open to all. A selection of never-before-seen movies: revival films, underground treasures, and regional movies. These movies all have a connection to current music: rock, electro, hip hop, jazz, world music... but is not limited to simple indie music. Behind the currents of the rock stories these movies tell, it is the culture, societies, way of life, history, struggles, utopias, dreams and revolutions that make them a hit.
Most of the showings take place at the Méliès cinema downtown. But Rock this Town is an interactive festival that takes their audience around different parts of the city: kiosks, shops, and cafés, music halls and media libraries are in the loop.
Concerts, DJ sets, meet and greets, showings, books & comics, record fair and presentations have become must see sites at this event. In 2021, Rock This Town will open up a competition by inviting an international jury to deliberate the selections. Students who study in art or language actively participate in this annual event and a number of schools turn-up for the showings.

The last season of WISFFF brought us to a new home in Genesis Cinema - London. And this season, we are staying. There is a lovely welcoming "film-o-phile" vibe going on at the cinema, which resulted in lots of fun, and a surprising amount of networking. WISFFF continues to grow with more entries and awards and prizes than ever before We also had an awesome and ever growing selection of films at the screening. There are some photos of the various events on here.
Awards wise, there are a number of challenges, awards and prizes for Micro (2min), Mini (10min), and Short (25min) film categories within the genre.

This event is complemented with repertoire and special screenings. The 22nd Cine Las Americas International Film Festival (CLAIFF22) took place May 1st to 5th, 2019 in Austin, Texas. In addition to welcoming over 3,000 audience members for films and special events, CLAIFF22 screened 114 titles; these selections represented 25 countries’ participation in the production or co-production of the projects, including Argentina, Australia, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, France, Germany, Jordan, Mexico, The Netherlands, Peru, Portugal, Qatar, Spain, Syrian Arab Republic, UK, Uruguay, USA, and Venezuela.

The registration dates go from the publication of this call, until its closing, on July 7, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. (GMT-6) without any possibility of extension. Feature film works (from 60 minutes onwards) and short films (between 1 and less than 30 minutes in length) will be received through the Festhome platform exclusively.
Selected participants will be notified via email during the first or second week of August and they will be informed of the continuity of the process. The Committee's selection is final. By registering, all participants who are selected agree to send all the required materials in a timely manner, as detailed in the Regulations and as they will be requested from their notification until the closing of the ficmonterrey. The registration of any material in this call confirms the acceptance of it and the attached rules. The ficmonterrey is in a constant search for human narratives that rely on views that emerge from a world in constant movement and transformation, in interconnection and innovation for its selection.
The Festival seeks films with the power to reside in the collective memory of audiences, with the power to move and create dialogue with them.
One of the key interests of the ficmonterrey organizing team is to encourage new perspectives, those who are young not because of their age, but because they are fresh, for remaining critical, for achieving themselves with innovation and venturing into various risks.
The general objective of ficmonterrey is to bring together in Nuevo León an in-person audience, and a virtual one throughout Mexico, before a selection of contemporary Mexican and international cinema created by filmmakers with diverse, fresh, risky, critical, and innovative visions. International Festival Screen Culture “Thelovetcheskoje Kino” (hereinafter - Festival) is held among collectives (groups) of youth production in different forms of art, connecting with cinema, television, photography and different digital technologies.
Festival events are directed to formation and evaluating new global culture of production and reproduction age-diverse communicative samples of generations interplay and provides conditions of establishing new information community (environs), new culture of information society, where social-noetic (immaterial) factors of evaluating are information and knowledge. Festival holding promotes establishing of screen culture as a part of general information culture of present society.
General guiding of Festival methodology and organization is brought into action of Educational Complex “Nasha Shkola” (Russia, Novosibirsk).
Time, conditions, place and procedure of organization and holding of regular Festival are annually established of special document – Standing Order of Holding.

AMOR International LGBT+ Film Festival is the first international film festival in Santiago of Chile focused on the subject of sexual and gender diversity, of independent and competitive nature. The seventh edition of AMOR Festival will take place from June 27th to July 2nd, 2023, in a hybrid format, with digital and physical screenings and activities specifically at national territory.
As in every edition, the festival is proposed as an inclusive space where the programme invites different sectors of society to approach cinema focused on LGBT+ themes (Lesbians, Gays, Bisexuals, Transsexuals and all sexual, identity and gender diversities); a safe space for the community in which they can participate, make visible, identify and share. AMOR Festival has positioned itself as an event of high artistic quality that seeks to exhibit the most interesting and unique national and foreign titles that expose diversity, as well as outstanding films that have won awards at world-renowned festivals; and as a space where programming is structured based on gender equality in competitions and activities, giving visibility to women filmmakers.
Love is totally transverse to any sexuality, so with AMOR Festival we hope to contribute to the inclusion of sexual diversity, to strengthen understanding and to celebrate the visibility of sexualities through the seventh art.
