We do not believe that there can just be three winners in a category, a Gold, Silver and Bronze - so we assign your entry a score from the jury! An A+ wins a Special Jury Award and is considered for the Grand Remi! An A score wins a Platinum Remi, an A- wins a Gold, a B+ wins a Silver and a B wins a Bronze Remi. No Awards are made below a B level score. With more than 4,750 category entries, only about 10-15% actually win a Remi Award, but we feel it is the best possible way to run a festival awards system!

The 55th Annual WorldFest-Houston International Film Festival continues its totally dedicated Independent Film screening format for the upcoming April 20-24, 2022 unspooling. WorldFest will screen just 60-80 feature film premieres and over 130 Shorts with a total and absolute emphasis on the American and International Independent feature film and a continuing annual spotlight on award-winning short films and documentary films. Entries Officially Open Aug. 15, 2021. The EarlyBird Entry Deadline is Nov. 15th 2021 – A Mail-By/Enter By/Ship-By Deadline! Entries do not have to arrive by this deadline. The Main Entry Deadline is December 15, 2021. The Late Entry Deadline is Jan 15th 2022!

This year WorldFest presents its 8th Annual Panorama Asia, the largest survey of new films from all of Asia & China in the whole, wide world! Mostra Dr. Mabuse ist ein internationales Kurzfilmfestival, das drei Tage lang in Barcelona stattfindet. Es ist als Festival konzipiert, das sowohl neuen als auch erfahrenen Künstlern offen steht. Eine Jury, die sich aus Fachleuten der audiovisuellen Welt, Lehrern und Studenten von Filmfestivals und anderen Mitarbeitern zusammensetzt, wählt die Filme aus, die in den drei Sessions gezeigt werden sollen, die im Juni in Barcelona stattfinden. Das Projekt wurde vor zwanzig Jahren ins Leben gerufen und hat die Anzahl der gezeigten und registrierten Filme erweitert und vervielfacht. Das Indy Film Fest wurde 2004 gegründet, um die Kunst des Kinos zu feiern und ein gemeinsames Erlebnis rund um den Film in Indianapolis zu schaffen. Wir sind ein gemeinnütziges, internationales, unabhängiges Filmfestival, das sowohl Spielfilme als auch Kurzfilme anbietet. Das Indy Film Fest sucht nach den besten unabhängigen Spielfilmen und Kurzfilmen, unabhängig von Kategorie oder Genre, darunter: Live-Action, Animation, Drama, Komödie, Erzählung, Dokumentarfilm, Horror, Science-Fiction und Experimentalfilm. Unser jährliches Festival, das sich über mehr als 10 Tage erstreckt, bietet in der Regel rund 25 Spiel- und 100 Kurzfilme, wobei über 90% der Einsendungen stammen.
Das Indy Film Fest wuchs ständig und passte sich an. Es begann 2004 als dreitägiges Indianapolis International Film Festival. 2006 haben wir schnell auf unser derzeitiges 10-Tage-Format umgestellt, unsere Feierlichkeiten 2009 auf den Sommer verlegt, unseren Namen 2014 in Indy Film Fest geändert und seit 2018 sind wir in unserem ursprünglichen Frühlingszeitraum wieder zu Hause. Aufgrund von COVID-19 waren unsere Festivals 2020 und 2021 hauptsächlich virtuell und unsere Festivals 2022—2025 waren hybride 5-tägige Präsenzfestivals, gefolgt von virtueller Verfügbarkeit und abschließend mit preisgekrönten Vorführungen vor Ort am letzten Wochenende. Dieses Format ist unser Ziel für das Festival 2026. Bevor die Auswahlentscheidungen getroffen werden, werden die Filmemacher über alle Änderungen der Termine oder des Formats informiert und erhalten die Möglichkeit, zu beantragen, dass ihre Einreichungsgebühr für ein zukünftiges Festival erhoben wird, falls diese Änderungen nicht akzeptabel sind.
Alumni des Indy Film Fest (und des Indianapolis International Film Festival) haben Anspruch auf eine angemessene Anzahl kostenloser Einreichungen. Filme mit engen Verbindungen zu Indiana haben Anspruch auf drastisch reduzierte Einreichungsgebühren. Teilnahmeberechtigt sind beispielsweise der Regisseur oder Autor, der derzeit in Indiana ansässig oder gebürtig ist, oder dass der Film hauptsächlich in Indiana gedreht wurde. Leonid Khromov International Film Festival (LKIFF) wurde 2020 vom Produzenten und Unternehmer Leonid Khromov gegründet. LKIFF ist eine unabhängige Plattform für internationales Kino, auf der helle und ambitionierte Anfänger und erfahrene Filmemacher ihre Filme der internationalen Gemeinschaft präsentieren können.
Die LKIFF Jury besteht aus kreativen und lebendigen Menschen, die Profis in ihren Bereichen sind (Schauspieler, Produzenten, Regisseure, Filmkritiker, etc.). Für die Teilnahme am Festival werden volle und kurze Spielfilme akzeptiert.

Each year, our festival takes place in Paris during the springtime, which is not only a beautiful season but also an exciting time of year for ÉCU, because that is when we showcase roughly around 60 of the World’s very best independent films. Although ÉCU emphasises European talent, it also recognises the genius of international filmmakers with several categories allocated to non-European films.
The next ÉCU, the 21st edition, will take place on April, 2026 in Paris, France.
ÉCU isn’t just about screening an amazing slate of films over its three-day event in Paris. There are also professional workshops led by experts in the industry, Q&A’s held with the attending filmmakers after every screening session and a chance to network with fellow filmmakers, producers, agents, industry representatives, prospective film buyers and, of course, the cinema-loving public. At ÉCU, there is a dialogue focusing on celebrating but also critiquing the world’s best indie cinema of today.
Though ÉCU’s main event IS the three-day festival in Paris each spring, there is even more! Thanks to our 50+ partner festivals, partner organisations, film centres and film commissions, ÉCU goes on an annual world tour called ÉCU-On-The-Road. This gives award-winning films (as well as many of the Official Selection films) the opportunity for their films to reach a broader, global, international audience.
ÉCU-On-The-Road showcased films in over 80 countries around the globe in 2016 to 2025 at special ÉCU mini-festivals, partner festivals, cultural institutions and film schools, including an amazing seven day special festival in São Paulo, Brazil. The event was made possible through the support of Caixa Cultural, São Paulo and was a huge success. ÉCU also held special events in Berlin (Germany), Atami (Japan) and was part of festivals in Lebanon, Italy, Russia, USA, Romania, Austria, Denmark and other countries. This gives ÉCU filmmakers great exposure to audiences that they may never have reached otherwise.

L'Europe autour de l'Europe - Das Europäische Filmfestival Paris findet vom 3. bis 16. April 2024 in Paris und der Île-de-France statt.

UNSER FESTIVAL AUS DER POLITIK
Es verbindet Menschen, ihre freundlichen Herzen und Kreativität. Das erste Festival fand im Jahr 2018 in Moskau, Russland, 2019 - in der Hauptstadt von Belarus, Minsk, März 2021 - in Moskau und Podolsk statt.

Das Festival wird vom Vyatkin Verlag organisiert. Wir veröffentlichen Bücher in Geschenk- und Lederbindungen, machen Dokumentationen, Kurzfilme und Präsentationsvideos. Unser Festival wählt Filme aus, die auf dem Prinzip des Duellierens basieren, wie im Sport. Die Filme müssen mehrere Etappen durchlaufen: die offizielle Auswahl, das Halbfinale und das Finale. Das Finale findet in Form eines Kampfduells statt, das direkt in der Halle von den Filmemachern, dem Publikum und der Presse bewertet wird.
Ziel des Festivals ist es, junge Filmemacher zu neuen Filmen zu ermutigen, ihre Kreativität zu schätzen und Filmemacher in die Kultur und das Leben der Welt einzuführen. Wir akzeptieren Filme aller Genres aus der ganzen Welt und geben neuen Filmemachern die Möglichkeit, ihre Filme zu bewerten und mit anderen berühmten Filmemachern zu konkurrieren. Das sind Filme aus dem Herzen und für Menschen aller Genres, die Aggression und Krieg leugnen.
Jeder Film, der die offizielle Auswahl übergibt, erhält Lorbeeren. Und am Ende des Festivals, natürlich, ein Buffet und ein Fotoshooting.
