Si tratta di un'iniziativa culturale indipendente ideata e sviluppata dal Collettivo Paso Libre, il cui obiettivo è quello di articolare progetti culturali e artistici che interessano direttamente la comunità.
Questo festival nasce come risposta alla necessità di fornire uno spazio per i giovani creatori, che vedono il cinema come un modo per esprimere le proprie preoccupazioni.
Attualmente, i giovani sono molto attratti dai materiali audiovisivi, quindi questa caratteristica sarà utilizzata a loro favore per coinvolgerli nei problemi e nei temi che generalmente non percepiscono o non prendono in considerazione perché non li considerano di interesse.
Nel 2016 abbiamo avuto la nostra prima edizione, con più di 20 cortometraggi che sono stati raccolti in tutto il mondo. È stato raggiunto un pubblico di oltre 12.000 persone, con 6 proiezioni al Cine Morelos e 15 proiezioni nelle scuole secondarie dello stato.

Il MY FIRST DOC Festival in Tunisia, organizzato dalla Tunisian Documentary Cinema Association, valorizza il giovane cinema internazionale offrendo la possibilità ai registi di presentare le proprie opere al pubblico tunisino.
Il festival MY FIRST DOC in Tunisia si pone come obiettivo principale la scoperta e la promozione di opere prime di giovani talenti dando visibilità a diverse espressioni del cinema documentario internazionale di fronte al pubblico più vasto possibile.
La programmazione che unisce scoperta, diversità e qualità offrirà al pubblico documentari creativi con una vera prospettiva d'autore.
Il PuntodiVistaFilmFestival 2025 è un concorso internazionale a premi per corti inediti (o editi, ma comunque svincolati da cessioni dei diritti d'autore) comunque prodotti dal 2023 in poi, in qualunque lingua (purché, per quelli non in lingua italiana, ci siano i sottotitoli in italiano, a meno che non siano videoclip musicali).

CinemaLab è un'opportunità per la maturazione di progetti di lungometraggi e serie low-budget, nella sceneggiatura, costruzione (work in progress) o finalizzata alla ricerca di promozione e distribuzione, in modo che, rafforzato dalla collaborazione e consulenza di esperti, possano avanzare e consolidare.
Tra il 10 e il 15 dicembre 2020, a Zapatoca «La città più felice del mondo», 12 progetti selezionati saranno incubati, nell'ambito di un bando nazionale e internazionale, fornendo l'ambiente giusto per i registi per concentrare le loro energie e andare avanti, attraverso percorsi nuovi e creativi.
Il laboratorio si concentrerà sulle aree più nevralgiche della realizzazione, un'immersione attraverso corsi individuali, collettivi e master, con registi rinomati.
Animacción è un festival internazionale di cortometraggi animati, che mette in mostra il potenziale artistico di un'intera nuova generazione di animatori. Organizzato dall'associazione culturale dedicata all'animazione «Ánimas Anónimas», il festival torna quest'anno per la sua decima edizione.

ENTRY FEE FOR SUBMISSIONS OF FILMS:
(1) Entry fees for FEATURE FILMS (Duration: 50 mins to 105 mins max) : 5000/- INR or (63.23 USD)
(2) Entry fees for SHORT FILMS (Duration: 00.10 mins to 00.50 mins): 3,000/- INR or (36.27 USD)
(3) ANIMATION FILMS in all categories (Duration: 00.05 mins to 00.30 mins max).
(4) Entry fees for STUDENT FILMS: 1500/-INR or (21USD)
(LATE ENTRY FEES WILL BE DOUBLE THE ENTRY FEES MENTIONED ABOVE APPLICABLE TO FILMS SUBMITTED BEYOND THE DEADLINE ANNOUNCED)
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:
1.Films without English Subtitles (except English Films), shall not be considered for selection.
2.Films submitted with watermarks or logos shall be rejected.
3.Only Trailers or promos cannot be submitted for selection process.
4.Film Download link with password is preferred, DVD or Bluray are also accepted as hard copies.
5.If submitting hard copies, Two full HD DVDs/Bluray should be sent by courier to the Festival office along with a hard copy of this entry form duly filled. DVDs must be labeled with film title, director name, duration, phone number and email id on them. Director pic, Poster, Film Stills may be attached in an email.
6. For submissions coming from outside India, the packages must be marked, “For Festival & Cultural Purpose only, No Commercial value”.
7. DIFF does not pay screening fees to film makers.
8. DIFF will not return the Films submitted online or vide DVDs/Pen Drives/ Blu-ray etc. during or after the festival.
TERMS & CONDITIONS:
1. DIFF reserves the right to showcase the film so submitted perpetually anywhere ( other festivals, television, online etc).
2. DIFF reserves the right to include the film and related material in its promotional activities.
3. All Decisions made by the Appointed “Selection Committee” regarding Selections, screenings, awards at the Festival in entirety will be final. In case of Dispute, decision of the President is final.
4. The film makers and their representatives undertake to use the official logo and the status of their Selection or Award strictly in conformation with DIFF 2022 designs and they further undertake to use such festival logo in all their promotions, posters and marketing publications with the consent of the festival.
5. A film selected for the festival does not run in competition automatically. A Jury will select the films which feature in Competition.
6. The Festival shall not bear / reimburse any freight or other charges in foreign or Indian currency.
7. Once selected for screening, the film shall not be withdrawn.
8. The last date of submissions of ENTRIES IS 10.12.2024 and Date of Intimation of Selection will be 15.12.2024

Basato al DETOUR Arthouse Cinema, nel centro di Roma dal 2010, ON THE ROAD FILM FESTIVAL è dedicato al cinema indipendente contemporaneo - fiction, documentario e sperimentale - presentando elogi di viaggio, peregrinazioni urbane e desolate, topografie reali o immaginari, deviazioni inaspettate, psico-geografiche derive, migrazione e nomadismo.
