The Claqueta Awards were born in 2011 to promote the efforts of new talents and students from film schools around the world, and to promote film culture in the city of Vilanova i la Geltrú (Barcelona).
It is a non-profit event that has the support of different public institutions, social entities and private sponsors.
The Claqueta awards, not only exhibit, also perform various events such as meetings with artists and students, academic conferences, debates, among others. It is an interesting way to approach and connect the works to the public.
The Claqueta Awards have been selecting the best cinema pieces around the world for 9 years to exhibit at the festival, promoting the development of cinema with a clear international character.

We at Thinking Hat Fiction challenge believe in the power of creativity, scope of imagination and beauty of the art of storytelling. We strive to provide a creative space to filmmakers from all walks of life across the continents.
Being film lovers ourselves, we strongly believe in creating an environment where filmmakers and other creative crew members can participate in a wholesome exchange of ideas, thoughts and share their knowledge and experience with one another through debates, discussions and workshops.
Thinking Hat Fiction Challenge has quarterly physical screening in several districts of West Bengal, India including the metropolitan city, Kolkata and is free for all to attend.
We charge a submission fee to run the cost of screening such as venue charges, designing and printing marketing collateral, and several other administrative overheads.
Markhor International Children’s Film Festival (MICFF) is an annual film festival held all across Pakistan. The Pittsburgh Independent Film Festival is Pittsburgh's premiere film festival for truly independent films, and a headline event for micro-budget and no-budget films from around the world. PIIF offers a fantastic opportunity for undiscovered filmmakers to showcase their achievements, filmmakers who posses an independent vision and operate to create innovative work outside the studio system. We screen more films than all comparable festivals, screening 12 hours a day on both Saturday and Sunday, while still having relevant industry discussions between filmmakers in our filmmakers lounge. The 2016 and 2018 Best Feature Film secured a distribution deal as a result of our recommendation, upon winning our festival. The Mission of Virgin Spring Cinefest is to create a platform that every filmmaker needs, in order to showcase and get recognitions for their films. We have created monthly editions to give continuity to the selection process and a steady feedback to the filmmakers. Instead of waiting for months before getting an answer from the festival, filmmakers are immediately contacted if selected. Their works are privately screened every month and evaluated by a team of experts in the industry. All entries do not compete against each other. Instead, entries are judged against a high standard of merit and are scored accordingly. The event aims to create a strong relationship between filmmakers, producers, and distributors from all over the world.
Athens Marathon International Film Festival (A.M.I.F.F.) is an annual international event dedicated for independent filmmakers. Established this year by “THE BASEMENT” a nonprofit and non-governmental Cultural and Education Organization (B.C.E.O.).

BOSIFEST is the International Festival Of Documentary Film for and by persons with disabilities, the only one of this kind in the Southeast Europe, which will be organized this year for the sixteenth time in Serbia by the Hendi Center Koloseum. As in past fifteen years, this year on the big screen a great number of films will be shown both in competitive and non-competitive part. So far visitors of the BOSIFEST had an opportunity to watch 850 films that had life of the people with disabilities as their subject or were created by the disabled authors.
In addition to film screenings, BOSIFEST offers additional programs in the form of workshops, panel discussions and roundtables.

The Bloody Horror International Film Festival (BHIFF) is an international festival seeking the best in indie horror (both amateur and professional).
The festival is set up in two yearly sessions. Selected films will be recognized and awarded in various categories.
BHIFF has made a point to keep our entry fees low as to give everyone the chance to enter, and we offer a high number of award categories!
BHIFF is headquartered in Canada, but its panel of judges is set in different parts of the world and comes with a variety of horror film expertise.
As of June 2025, BHIFF will now be sharing more content on social media! We think this is a great way to help promote your work/creations for everyone to see! We hold the rights to use any material submitted and will use this to promote your amazing creations! We may use film trailers, posters and clips of submitted films (even non-inning films)
Here at BHIFF, we feel everyone's work is a masterpiece! We have the hard job of choosing our Official Selections and Winners. This doesn't mean we didn't love all the films. We aren't always able to screen all of the Official Selections and Honorable Mentions because we have time limits at the venues.
So, we feel that sharing on social media is a great way to get everyone work seen!
